Our extended family of 8, loved staying in Crista and Stefan’s apartment. It was beautiful and very spacious. A wonderful haven of comfort after busy days exploring. We had everything we needed. The location is exceptional; close to town and transport. We walked to town and the lake often. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. I would love to stay here again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

VERY comfortable apartment in Zurich
This apartment was amazing...spacious and comfortable. It has 2 bedrooms with a 3rd room with a murphy bed. The modern kitchen was a surprise and the living room has a balcony that overlooks a private courtyard. We stayed for 8 days and it was so nice coming "home" from a day of exploring Switzerland! The apartment is on a very quiet street and there are 2 metro stops within a 2 minute walk. We would definitely stay again.

We spent 10 days here in September 2015. It was fabulous. The location is excellent - a close walk to trams or the train - which take you everywhere you need to go -and/or a 15 minute walk to the old part of Zurich (with great restaurants), the lake, river, or the main shopping street. It is in a lovely residential neighbourhood, with grocery stories conveniently located nearby. Many of the main tourist sites, including the wonderful Kunstmuseum, are within walking distance. The apartment has everything you would need, including a well equipped kitchen and lovely deck off the large bedroom. Even the bed is really comfortable! The apartment has a lot of space for a one bedroom. We arrived at night, but there were breakfast fixings (eggs, croissants, milk) in the kitchen so we had something to eat the next morning, which was very thoughtful. The owners were very welcoming and helpful - a wonderful source of knowledge about Zurich and the surrounding countryside. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this property. You will not be disappointed!

A Excellent Stay in Zurich
We spent 10 days here in September 2015. It was fabulous. They made sure we had everything we needed and were helpful with ideas for exploring Zurich. We were there in July, and it was unusually warm for Zurich, but the apartment was always pleasant. The apartment was located in a very nice neighborhood of Zurich. It was also a short walk (a few blocks) to several tram stops with easy access to anywhere you would want to go. It was very close to the University area with many nice markets. Zurich is a beautiful city on a beautiful lake, and we would love to go back some day.

Great hosts
Steve and Crista were gracious hosts and met us at the train station to give us a ride back to the apartment. We enjoyed getting acquainted with them during our week stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and were helpful with ideas for exploring Zurich. We were there in July, and it was unusually warm for Zurich, but the apartment was always pleasant. The apartment was located in a very nice neighborhood of Zurich. It was also a short walk (a few blocks) to several tram stops with easy access to anywhere you would want to go. It was very close to the University area with many nice markets. Zurich is a beautiful city on a beautiful lake, and we would love to go back some day.

A great location is one thing, but the caring and assistance from the owners, when needed, and the superior equipped and appointed space, all rooms, were what the big difference. We felt at home the moment stepped into the apartment: A mix of antiques, personal touches, art work on the walls, a cozy outside balcony looking into trees and a courtyard, a roomy light filled kitchen, and connectivity via wifi that easily worked, are but some of the highlights here. I especially appreciate the well equipped kitchen. And, it was spotlessly clean. We hope to return more than once. We were comfortable and happy! We rather liked the walk up to second floor as it, and the daily waking in the city, replaced gym time. If raining or in a hurry, the trams, in either direction, are about 4 minutes away. All the services that we needed were close. Highly recommend this apartment.

Especially so the cleanliness, quiet and comfort, spaciousness, and proximity to central Zurich. We would stay there again most definitely. Crista is friendly and as helpful as you need her to be (we were already familiar with the city). There are three flights of stairs. This was not a problem; just good to know.

But they did not interfere either - great owners! Second, the location is awesome! 2 minute walk to the tram line that goes directly to the city center, or you can walk (walkable in 10-20 minutes, depending on where you want to go). It's also about 1 tram stop outside of the hustle and bustle of the downtown, so you really get the feel of a native. The apartment had all the modern luxuries one would expect and it was kept miraculously! Great art work, great flowers on the balcony, and great balcony. I couldn't have asked for a better situation!

But they did not interfere either - great owners! Second, the location is awesome! 2 minute walk to the tram line that goes directly to the city center, or you can walk (walkable in 10-20 minutes, depending on where you want to go). It's also about 1 tram stop outside of the hustle and bustle of the downtown, so you really get the feel of a native. The apartment had all the modern luxuries one would expect and it was kept miraculously! Great art work, great flowers on the balcony, and great balcony. I couldn't have asked for a better situation!

Our son came down on the train from Paris to spend the few days with us, and we found it just right! Crista and Stefan (the owners who were onsite adjacent to this apartment) were incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to meet us at the train station (since we were coming in at night) when we were weary and lugged down with baggage to help transport us to the apartment. They also helped us with some sightseeing recommendations, restaurants, and had many guides we could look at in the apartment to help us in our planning. We took long day trips out to Lucerne and also Zermatt, but when we arrived back into Zurich, we were always happy to come home to this cozy place! As with other reviews we read here, we couldn't agree more that this apartment is in a perfect and safe neighborhood, well within walking and transportation services to get you anywhere. A perfect location, and a perfect stay!

A perfect stay in Zurich!
My husband and I had four days in-between a cruise that ended in Venice, and then going to see our son in Paris. We decided to use those four days in Zurich, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at this lovely and very homey apartment. They went above and beyond to meet us at the train station (since we were coming in at night) when we were weary and lugged down with baggage to help transport us to the apartment. They also helped us with some sightseeing recommendations, restaurants, and had many guides we could look at in the apartment to help us in our planning. We took long day trips out to Lucerne and also Zermatt, but when we arrived back into Zurich, we were always happy to come home to this cozy place! As with other reviews we read here, we couldn't agree more that this apartment is in a perfect and safe neighborhood, well within walking and transportation services to get you anywhere. A perfect location, and a perfect stay!

My husband & I traveled to Zurich during an Ironman competition. This is a beautiful, comfortable apartment with a private, locked, entrance, a King sized bed, full bath, shower, kitchen and balcony. The owners were extremely helpful and had many good tips for different places to travel and eat while we were visiting. They were very easy to communicate with and helpful during the whole process. It is within walking distance of 2 different trams, you can ride to get through the city. You don't even need to get on the trams to get down to Lake Zurich, it is within walking distance. It was clean, comfortable and in neighborhood that was quiet and clean. We would certainly stay here again if we travel back to Zurich. We highly recommend this apartment.

The images provided are accurate reflections of this apartment and it was clean and well-maintained. We stayed here for 3 weeks in June and both of us agree that having it as a base contributed hugely to the success of our holiday. The location is everything! It's walking distance from the centre of Zurich but also close to trams, shops, parks and other open spaces. We depended totally on public transport, travelling far and wide throughout Switzerland and beyond each day, on all but three occasions returning 'home' to sleep. Sometimes the days were long and we returned late but the central location made it possible to plan such excursions. We felt safe in this neighbourhood and it was so much less stressful to be travelling around without luggage. In addition, our hosts were wonderful: generous, friendly and helpful, without being obtrusive. We plan to return to Zurich often and hope that the apartment will continue to be available to us.

Perfect Apartment in Zurich

Our 16 days at this lovely spot in Zurich were not enough!
This one bedroom apartment had its own entrance in a lovely quiet neighborhood close to just about everything and within walking distance of so many interesting places. The photos reflect the appearance and amenities well, and it was very clean and well-maintained. The owners, our hosts, were awesome! I would not only recommend this apartment to our friends but we also hope to return. What we also appreciated was the bedroom could be closed off from the bathroom and kitchen. The veranda off the bedroom was quite pleasant for eating outside with the linden tree in bloom. Ideal for a couple. The whole experience was very nice.

Perfect Location, Beautifully Appointed.
The apartment was large enough for 8 ladies to spend 7 days in total comfort. Beautifully decorated, perfectly located. Close to public transportation, easy walk to restaurants and to Lake Zurich and all its beauty and excitement. We could enjoy great food and drink knowing we would walk it off...even the extra stairs were not a problem. Great views from all rooms/windows. Landlord very accomodating to a large party. If we get the chance, we would do it all over again!

Great Stay in Zurich
My family spent 9 days in Zurich over Christmas and loved this apartment. The owners were very helpful with suggestions before we arrived, and when we arrived tried and jet-lagged, we found the apartment nicely decorated for Christmas. They were really wonderful.
The apartment is very spacious and nicely appointed. Each room is of a good size. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a lovely dining room with candles and a wood stove for dining in.
The location is fantastic. You can walk to the lake, museums, or town. There is also a tram stop just one block away. You are right in town, but it is a quiet neighborhood.
I would highly recommend this spot to all considering a stay in Zurich.

Fantastic apartment!
My family stayed here for a week this past August (2010). We absolutely loved the apartment - spacious, clean and bright. The location is wonderful and we enjoyed walking around Zurich from here or hopping a tram to anywhere we wanted to go. The hosts were very pleasant to interact with and gave us lots of useful information about the nearby area. I highly recommend this apartment.
