El viaje en taxi o autobús al Parque Nacional y al otro extremo de la playa es solo un par de minutos. Los autobuses salen cada 20 minutos más o menos. We ended our extended trip in manuel antonio at casa bosque verde.
The home is very nice and well thought out. The jungle gardens offer sightings of toucans and monkey and agoutus right at the pool. Two adult couples had plenty of room to roam and the kitchen apppintments were nice with quality knives blenders etc
Antonio the on site handyman and guard is a gem. What a great guy all though you will need the translator app on your phone if you dont speak spanish.. safely guarded by a fence and roll gate along with his presence gives you piece of mind if you go out. Location is great to several eats and the convenience shops. Very short drive to MA beach and park
If you havent been try to avoid MA beach on the weekend its a total zoo with it being massivley busy with locals and as such the weird locals parking bullying pay scheme at full tilt. The weekdays was way easier . Monday, the neighbor house started construction. This was unfortunate but i can not knock the home or the owner for this real life event. I would suspect the extremely loud construction noise to be over by april 2024. Made back yard enjoyment in the afternoon very difficult on our last day but we rolled with it. Only suggestion is a black out blind or curtain in the downstairs bedroom as the street light shines through the window quite brightly making it harder to get a full nite sleep . Overall what a terrific place with location ammenities antonio and pool

Great location, short drive to beaches & restaurants. Kids enjoyed playing in the pool after a day at the beach. Loved waking up to the sun shining in through the kitchen windows 🌞 Antonio the groundskeeper was so friendly, always greeted us with a smile & often opened the gate for us. Thanks for a great stay! 🙂 Unfortunately no monkey visits during our 5 night stay.

This property is just gorgeous! Everything was as described. Ana (housekeeper), Antonio (groundskeeper), and Vanessa (concierge) were all wonderful. Make sure to budget for tips for the staff (suggested amounts were $30-50+ for the 3 staff members). We had already booked tours prior to arrival but I know that Vanessa would have been very helpful in that regard if needed. There is a large grocery store just down the street about a 5 minute walk. Several shops and restaurants were also within walking distance, but you'll want to drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and to Quepos (both are about a 10 minute drive I think). Antonio was always there to greet us at the gate when we arrived (he stays on the property but in a separate house and is very respectful of privacy). We loved our stay!

Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property manager was great at checking in, and readily available. The location can't be beat, with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We most enjoyed our time outside in the pool or playing games on the deck. Highly recommended.

The property is indeed an oasis with sightings of monkeys and macaws from porch. Vanessa, Antonio and Anna made our stay so easy. The house is luxurious with all amenities you could ask for. Close to park, beach and town of Manuel Antonio. Definitely worth the price and more.

We had a wonderful time staying for 4 nights at Casa Bosque Verde. It is situated in a neighborhood so you can some typical neighborhood sounds, but the back yard is very private. Antonio and Ana were very attentive and friendly on site, and Vanessa was very communicative and helpful for us in our planning, arrival, and departure. The yard is perfect for lounging by the pool and watching the monkeys, macaws, and toucans. The house felt like home and not a stock furniture catalog, with plenty of room for our group.

We had an incredible visit at Casa Bosque Verde! As promised it's an oasis in the heart of a bustling neighborhood - we walked to nearby restaurants and ziplining. Vanessa coordinated a fabulous itinerary so that we could enjoy white water rafting, ziplining, a private tour of Manuel Antonio Park, and more! She was so helpful and communicative. Antonio made sure we were comfortable, and Anna kept the house sparkling. Our kids ages 9 and 11 loved the pool when we chilled at the house. Highly recommend! Thanks to all for a lovely vacation!

This house was super clean, and the spaces were inviting, comfortable and large. We did not realize how important it would be to have such a helpful host. We ended up booking all of our excursions through her, and we quickly realized that we were so wise to do so. We were provided with top-notch experiences that were easy to navigate. No surprises, no extra charge, just honest and timely help with fast clear communications!! Clean private pool area with convenient deck location. Monkeys too much fun to watch when they start running around up in the trees, which happened several times in our 5 night stay. Walk to convenient small market, and to restaurants or bar etc. Thank you again Vanessa for your expertise!!

The house was wonderful & the backyard was full of wildlife (macaws, monkeys, agouti, coati, lizards, lots of other birds). My only complaint was the noisy neighbors. There are locals next door & they were doing construction or something just as noisy!

Our family (with 2 children age 6 and 9) had an amazing time on this property! Macaws, tucans, monkeys, hummingbirds and many other tropical creatures flitted in and out of the backyard on a daily basis. The pool is wonderful, the space in the house comfortable, and the staff makes sure every part of your stay is truly a vacation. Pura vida!

Case Bosque Verde was the perfect home for our stay in Manuel Antonio. The home was spacious, full of natural light, clean and well kept and stocked with all we needed. It was within walking distance of excellent restaurants and grocery stores. It was a short drive to the beach and national park. Vanessa, the house manager was very responsive and helpful in suggesting places to go and things to see. Antonio, the groundskeeper was friendly and helpful and Anna kept the house spotless. We were able to see monkeys, toucans, Scarlett macaws in the trees in the backyard. We’re already thinking about when we can return to Manuel Antonio and Casa Bosque Verde.

This property far exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. And Vanessa, Antonio and Anna made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We saw many monkeys and a macaw pair visited the yard every morning. The pool was perfect for beating the midday heat, too. Thank you for making this such a memorable experience.

Casa Bosque Verde was a fantastic house for our family. Manuel Antonio was the second half of our week in Costa Rica and it was such a great way to end our our week. Vanessa is a gem- so helpful, so kind! AC in every room was a perk. We did see some monkeys and macaws in the backyard too which was fun. Another perk was having a few loads of laundry done for us while we were out and about. Thank you again, Vanessa, Antonio and Anna!

Casa Bosque Verde is a very nice home in a great location. Clean, comfortable and modern with a grocery store and several restaurants at the end of the street. We did not have a car and enjoyed walking to the various beaches or taking the bus which was easy to do. Vanessa was a great help arranging transportation and a tour of Manuel Antonio. Anna is very sweet and kept the house clean and Antonio was always there to assist us. We felt very safe in the house and neighborhood and would stay here again.

Everything as described. We returned for one week this year after staying 3 weeks last year. Just down the hill from the main road so close to everything but quiet - except for the Scarlet Macaws that visit every afternoon, to our delight. Will return again if we come back to Costa Rica next year.

From the moment you step through the gate you are greeted by staff and your vacation begins. All amenities inside are complete and the view overlooking the pool from the back porch is great. The local monkeys will stop by for a visit most days. Neighbor dogs barking can be a challenge but we learned to enjoy past it. One block walk to the market is a plus. Vanessa, the concierge was incredible at arranging tours and transportation.

This is a great house with a fantastic outdoor area. The house is very comfortable and the housekeeper, groundskeeper, and concierge are excellent. There was ample space for five of us.
It was great to be able to sit outside and see the monkeys, birds, and other wildlife pass through the yard. The only negative we experienced was the internet was a bit slow. We probably wouldn't have noticed but several people in our group got sick and just in the house for a couple of days and we couldn't stream a show on more than tv/device at a time. It was convenient to be just down the street from a well stocked grocery store as well as a few restaurants. The walk to the beach is not easy - 30 minutes downhill in one direction, completely uphill when you return. But it was easy enough to drive to the beach and pay about $5 for parking.

The staff is only one of the highlights of our CR trip. They were very helpful and responsive to our needs. The monkey show did not disappoint!. The house is exactly as expected! Location is easy to get around Manuel Antonio and area. Would come back and stay at CBV

Our family had an amazing time staying here at Casa Bosque Verde! Vanessa was a God-send and helped us arrange everything! She was like my little personal assistant I wish I could bring home with me! Ana kept the house clean. Antonio kept the grounds looking fresh and amazing! He welcomed us back after every outing and watched over the property while we were away. We felt very safe with him there. This house has a beautiful backyard FULL of all the plants and flowers Costa Rica is known for! My girls loved exploring thr property every day for visiting animals! We were comfortable and very happy here! One of our daughters is in a wheelchair, and this property accommodated her. Loved every minute and missing it all already! ❤️

I can't say enough good things about this property. Vanessa and Antonio were waiting for us when we arrived, we felt like royalty! They along with Anna took excellent care of us throughout our stay. There is a great piece of mind to have Antonio on property with you, but yet you never know he is there!
The house is beautiful and so clean. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook, but there are also many restaurants within walking distance. We did a little of both, the grocery store was also just a short walking distance. We visited El Angel and the bakery next door several times during our visit.
The pool was so nice to cool off and relax. Everyday we had various different forms of wildlife in the backyard! Monkeys, Macaw's and Parakeets all while you are taking a swim!
You will live like a local while you are here, so be prepared to hear neighborhood noises. It takes nothing away from this property and the location is worth it, but just know in case this would be an issue for you.
I would recommend this property to all my friends and family without hesitation. We loved the property and Vanessa, Antonio and Anna! We will be back!

Our family of 5 stayed at Casa Bosque Verde during our first visit in Costa Rica. We had a wonderful time and were really enjoyed the friendliness of the people.
The property was beautiful in the middle of a local neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. You could hike to the beach (about 25 min) or take the bus.
We really enjoyed the help of Vanessa, the property manager, who was very responsive and helpful. Antonio and Anna, who took care of house and garden, were a delight! Wonderful staff!

A wonderful, spacious and comfortable home with lots of great amenities - and it was very clean (many places are not clean enough for me)! Enjoyed the beautiful backyard and saw wildlife right there (including monkeys). A short walk to the grocery store and many good restaurants and shops. Appreciated that tours/excursions will pick you up right outside the house (although the house is some distance from the beaches and park entrance - if you were to walk). Having Antonio (caretaker), Anna (cleaner) and Vanessa (concierge) available made everything so easy. We set up 2 tours (a boat trip and vanilla farm visit) through Vanessa and were able to ask her for advice - a very nice benefit that I've never experienced with a vrbo rental.
Also, the house itself is quite nice, well-designed with good decor, plenty of seating, a dining table, and stocked kitchen.

We loved everything about the house and the people taking care of it. The house was very spacious and beautiful (better than the pictures!). It worked great for our family of five. It was a short walk to nearby restaurants and the market is just down the street. The staff are awesome. Vanessa is very communicative, Anna was very accommodating to our schedule, and Antonio is super nice and helpful. It’s really nice to have Antonio around in case we needed him for anything as well as some added security. We loved the stay!

Wonderful Stay
We had a fabulous week at Casa Bosque Verde! The home is very clean and has everything you need. The grounds are beautiful and it feels like a private oasis with visits from monkeys and macaws. The location is also very good as we could walk to get groceries and to restaurants very easily (a car is not necessary). Vanessa was wonderful at helping coordinate tours, transportation and recommendations. As the family planner, she made the vacation very easy for me. Antonio and Anna were both so lovely and made us feel very well taken care of and welcome. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay, great location, a few details need clarifying
We loved our stay at this house, there were lots of benefits and it was really enjoyable and lovely but I want to make sure future guests understand a few things about the house.
1. Laundry -- while there is technically a washer and dryer located in the house, you do not have access to it. The cleaner (Anna, who is super sweet and lovely) will come maybe 3 times in a week and you can pay her to do the laundry at $5/load. This was fine with us, but I like having my own access to the washer and dryer and would've liked to know this ahead of time.
2. You are expected to tip all of the support staff -- Antonio (stays on the property, very sweet, unobtrusive and helpful), Vanessa (who scheduled amazing activities for us), and Anna who cleans and does laundry several times throughout the week.
I just feel it's important to note those extra costs on top of the benefits of this place.
Benefits: We saw capuchin and squirrel monkeys regularly from the deck, macaws, agouti, and even a sloth one day! Really cool. The pool is very nice and refreshing. The house has AC which was so wonderful. Vanessa planned some really great trips and was very helpful with restaurant ideas, etc. We walked to all of our restaurants and nearby shopping, so the location is fantastic. It was nice to be tucked in the neighborhood with the locals and also comforting to know Antonio was there watching over the house while we were away.
Overall I highly recommend this house!

We will likely stay here again because of the centralized location to the park, beach, and attractions. As well as a great corner market within walking distance. Antonio (the maintenance man) was awesome. If you do not speak spanish, our google translator provided seamless communication. This stay exceeded our expectations.

Great House, Close to everything in the area
We really enjoyed our stay at your property. The house inside and the grounds are fantastic. The neighborhood is ok, but with Antonio living in the Casita and helping us in and out of the gate every time we came and went, we felt totally safe. He was super friendly and it was nice to have him onsite the whole time. The inside of the house is great, plenty of room for our family of 6. We heard the monkeys most mornings, saw a pair of Tucans, and experienced all the sounds of staying in the Jungle. The convenience of the store just down the road, and the close proximity to all the restaurants made this a great place for us to stay while in Manuel Antonio!

Better than the Pictures
The house was just great. Better than the pictures, super clean and well located. The real stars of the show were Anna the housekeeper, Antonio the groundskeeper/security, and Vanessa who communicated so well to make sure we were well taken care of.

A perfect stay
We loved our stay at bosque verde. The house was in pristine condition. The crew, (Vanessa, Anna and Antonio) was exceptional - kind and many personal touches. Our kids loved swimming in the pool every afternoon after our daily adventures. So relaxing. We even saw some wildlife while enjoying the pool. Highly recommend!

We had such a glorious time at Bosque Verde! Vanessa, the property manager, helped us with everything - travel, excursions, hiring a chef for a bday celebration, even getting a cake. The caretaker, Antonio, is a dear man, who made sure the grounds were tidy, and met all our transport drivers. Location was perfect. Only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. I miss Costa Rica already, and count myself lucky to have met such a gracious woman as Vanessa.
