Stay was absolutely fantastic. We got in late after driving down from Montana. Place was unlocked and bigger than we expected. Nobody within miles except the horses. Never saw another soul which is what we came for! Will be back in the future! Thank you North 40!!

All around wonderful access to peace and quiet on the ranch in Wyoming. We did not feel isolated at any time because of local communities of Powell and Cody. Made many trips to Yellowstone and the Grand Teton

The cabin was great. Great furnishings and everything you need In the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable which is a biggie with us and the place was spotless.. our host greeted us and check in was a breeze. She provided good information of places to see on our stay. The view from the porch was beautiful. Would stay again!!

We were very impressed with the North 40 ranch. The cattle ranch was scenic and restful. The spotless cabin was perfect for the three of us adults. We felt that the seclusion from the crowds made the distance to Cody worthwhile traveling. We enjoyed the rodeo, the sights of Yellowstone and the area where we stayed in Clark immensely. We also liked interacting with the horses and all the other livestock. The Cooks, the hosts, reacted quickly to a maintenance problem, and gave us great advice about the local area and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was the perfect place for my teenage son and I to stay while we visited the many nearby destinations.

Beautiful country cabin
This cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4. Views of nearby mountains and wildlife were great. Cabin was clean and had everything you’d need for your stay. It is 30 min from nearest town, but perfect if your looking to get away from any type of city life. Only issue were some pesky moths every evening when we got back to cabin. There is also almost no light out on the ranch at night, so forgetting to leave porch light on before you leave for the day means it will be pretty much pitch black if your return at night. Over all it was a great stay.

A stay at the ranch
We loved our stay at the ranch. It was perfect for our needs and kitchen had what we needed to make a few meals.
We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and looking at the beautiful mountains in front of us. Their horses are friendly and would come up to fence to greet us.
We were traveling cross country from Jacksonville Fl touring the National Parks and spending time with family in WA
With Yellowstone being closed we spent extra time in Grand Tetons which didn’t disappoint. We had to take a southern route to get to Cody since we couldn’t travel thru Yellowstone and it took us thru the Wind Reservation which we found beautiful.
We also toured Buffalo Bill Dam, Clark’s Fork Canyon and Chief Joseph Scenic Highway.
We watched the wildlife on the ranch
The fact we are on a cross country trip we so appreciate when the property has a washer dryer so we can clean our clothes. We enjoyed going to Cody to do some shopping . If we had more time it would have been great to stay a couple more days.
Thank you for opening up your property for us.

Imagine being able to hear a pin drop on a dirt driveway?! The only "noise" is the very occasional greeting from a cow or the galloping of horses running across the back of the cabin and all this with the backdrop of the Absaroka and Beartooth mountain range. It's a peaceful retreat. The 30 minute drive into downtown Cody is beautiful! Cody has great activities; check out the rodeo and the Cody Cattle Co. dinner and entertainment (PS--you can purchase ticket packages that includes both the dinner, entertainment AND the rodeo; 4 hours of pure FUN!). We highly recommend Ande and Rob's North 40 Ranch!!! We hope to visit again in the future!!

The ranch was a beautiful place to stay. We spent two days in Yellowstone and two days in Cody, Wyoming. The drive to and around Yellowstone took longer than expected, so be sure to leave early in the morning, get gas in Cody, and pack water, food, and snacks for your day trip in the park. There’s so much to do in Cody; the rodeo, trail rides, and shopping were some of our favorites. Our kids loved visiting the horses on the ranch every day.

Stayed at the North Forty for 10 days during late April early May. Absolutely wonderful experience. The cabin was perfect for us and our dogs were welcomed and very comfortable there. Every window offered an incredible view. This property is about 30 minutes away from Cody, which offers a surreal peace and quiet. Every route we took away from the property offered gorgeous views. We were delayed a few days getting into Yellowstone Park, so we explored Chief Joseph Highway, Red Lodge, Cody and every little trail we found. Never disappointed. The host lives on the property and was very helpful when we had questions. We loved Yellowstone and went everywhere that was open. Saw lots of wildlife and their offspring. We hope to visit again. Such a gem!

A hidden gem
Great property. Much bigger than pictures suggest/portray. Clean, modern, tastefully decorated. Has everything you need, including cell service and laundry!. Even had spices, sugar, coffee etc, TP and Paper products were plentiful. Owners on site, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Incredible views of the mountains and stars, we even saw the comet. Loved getting up early to see the sun rise before rushing off the Yellowstone. .5 hr to Cody, 1.5 hours to Yellowstone, close to the big horns and Red Lodge/beartooth highway so centrally located. We have stayed in a good few cabins down through the years, and this one is up there - a true hidden gem. Patio/grilling area could be better, plus some chairs for around the firepit, but no real complaints. We will be back when we are in the area again. Great for a family our size (2 adults, 3 young kids, 1 under 2). recommended.

Beautiful views
We enjoyed our stay and loved the views! The horses are big babies, we made friends with them. It was really cool seeing the cattle drive and watching how it is done!
The only down falls were:
-the nails in the driveway. We ended up with one in our tire which caused a headache. we began looking around and found several more laying around where you park in front of the house.
- the television went out 2 days before our stay ended and wasn’t able to contact anyone about fixing it (but there were plenty of DVD’s available)
- the cabin was supposed to be supplied with enough stuff such as garbage bags and toilet paper for our length of stay, it was not. We bought our own.
- property needs some outdoor furniture, like benches or chairs for around the fire pit. (It would have been really nice to be able to use the hot tub at the big house).
Overall, it was a very nice and clean cabin with amazing views!

Fly Fishing Trip
This property is as described. The location is 30 miles from Cody where we fished the North & South Fork of the Shoshone River. The owner Andi was very helpful, she even let us use a can of bear spray for our trips into bear country. Fortunately we didn't encounter any bears. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. We had a great time. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting this part of Wyoming.

Beautiful place to get away from it all
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin in Clark. The views were breathtaking. The cabin was very clean with all the amenities (even Wi-Fi). It’s a bit of a drive to go anywhere, but we would definitely stay there again.
