We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lookout. The apartment was clean, comfortable, warm, updated, quiet, private, and with a killer view of Puget Sound. The location was convenient to restaurants in Endolyne; it's super close to the Fauntleroy ferry (which we took for a fun night out on Vashon Island); and close to Lincoln park for a fun walk along the beach. The hosts--Kristi and Pat--were super fast on communication and very helpful with their suggestions. We hope to return here on our next visit to West Seattle.

The place is as described and the view makes it unbeatable:)
Great communication and easy check in.
Will be back if this place is available!

The apartment was extremely cozy, quiet, and very nicely decorated. The pictures don’t show how warm and inviting it is. Very nice touches in the kitchen and living room. Comfortable couches and bed. Plenty of room for two people. Kristi was attentive to my messages. This was a delightful stay.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Such a cozy and pleasant time. We really enjoyed waking up and relaxing with this great view. I looked forward to getting up and spending some time with my books over some breakfast each day. Property owners maintain this place well keeping it very clean, organized, and stocked. The neighborhood is also very quiet and parking was easy. There’s a nice path that takes you right down to the beach with a bench where I was able to enjoy some more reading. Ferry access was an absolute breeze as the loading pier was just right down the street. We were really happy to be just south of the hustle n bustle of the city as we came from oregon and had more plans out of town. We would definitely stay here again. 10/10!

My partner and I stayed at The Lookout for a long weekend in October. Everything about it met or exceeded the online listing and reviews.
We wanted somewhere quiet and out of the way to relax and recharge. The Lookout was the perfect spot for this. The view was spectacular, and the accommodations cozy, comfortable, and inviting. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The hosts have thoughtfully anticipated guest needs and stocked the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom with a variety of items to make your stay more comfortable.
We used public transportation during our visit and found it easy to walk to the C-Line bus stop to get into the city. The charming neighborhood along the way was an added bonus.
I can't say enough good things about our visit. We hope to return again someday. Thanks Oat and Kristi for opening up your little slice of paradise to others.

Fantastic property! Kristi was so kind and welcoming. There was a beautiful flower arrangement waiting for us on arrival. Her instructions were clear and easy, and she was very accommodating with a late arrival due to a delayed flight. The view from the property is incredible! The property is cozy and comfortable, and met all our needs. The restaurant options around town were great, and close to the property. Definitely a property I’d visit again. Thank you!!

I booked this location for my sister who was visiting the Seattle area from Florida. It was perfect for her to stay on her own. The property was at the end of a very secluded street making her feel very secure. The view from the property was incredible, overlooking the water and the hill on which the property resides. From the perspective of a Floridian, it was not a hill but referred to it as "a mountain" :) The property was clean and well stocked with basic needs. The brief opportunity I had to meet with our host Kristi was wonderful; she was very kind. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone visiting the area.

The mountain and sound views were incredible from the property. The flowers in the yard were gorgeous. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. The property is close to the Vashon Ferry, Lincoln Park and a quick drive to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The Kristi and Pat were incredibly kind and helpful. We'll be back.

Thank you for the beautiful stay. The property is gorgeous. The Lookout is everything it was listed to be and more. It had everything we needed. Very comfortable and extremely hard to leave. My daughter and I loved it very much. The sunsets are amazing. The house was artistic, accommodating, and the perfect getaway location. We couldn’t ask for more. We hope to go back some day.

My fiancé and I felt comfortable and safe during our entire stay. There are beautiful views from the living room and bedroom, so we tried to make it back for the sunset most nights. Kristi was very welcoming and kind. My fiancé and I agreed that we would stay here again if we found ourselves in the Seattle area again. It’s about an 11min walk from the metro c line that takes you into downtown Seattle and there’s parking on the street if you have a car. We utilized both! It’s in the perfect location, quiet and away from the city, but the city is super accessible.

We had a very nice stay at the Lookout. The view of the water from the living area and the bedroom was so beautiful. Kristi provided everything we needed for our short stay there. Thanks Kristi! The neighborhood was quiet with a good place for banana bread (the Birdhouse!).

They have heated tiles that work perfectly for cold mornings. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, especially after a long day exploring Seattle. Comfortable bed and environment! Waking up with a cup of joe at the right time and watching the cruise ships and ferry pass by is a must when you book here! The hosts were very helpful and communicated well when it came to booking and help with any of our questions. 12/10 rating!

When you come around the corner and see the view, you can't believe how beautiful it is. I loved watching the ferries in the distance going back and forth to the island, with the Olympic Mountains as a backdrop. This is a lovely little corner of West Seattle, and the little apartment is very comfortable.

We had a nice time. The patio and view are spectacular. We walked the neighborhood. Lots of good places to eat. Easy drive into downtown. We rented a car and it was worth it.

We had a great one-week-long stay at The Outlook. Walking distance to a nice restaurant/bar, bakery, taco truck, and shop selling prepared foods, wine/beer, and basic groceries. The views are the reason we booked the place and they did not disappoint. It was a quick half-hour drive to most people and places we were visiting, so really nicely located. Next time we stay here I will bring my binoculars and a longer lens camera for sure.

This property was perfect for our anniversary getaway. Excellent views of the water and beautiful gardens. The neighborhood was very quiet. There are great restaurants only a 5min drive away. Hosts had great communication and were super nice. We will totally stay here again the next time we are in town!

Beautiful view and neighborhood. View is really why we picked this place and it doesn’t disappoint. Walk to public transport is about 3/4 blocks but it is hilly so some people might find it difficult. We enjoyed the walk. Very safe neighborhood. The bed was comfortable but pillows really need replaced. Good value for price.

There is no better place to stay in Seattle than The Lookout! Kristi & Pat are amazing hosts!

Loved the quietness of the apartment. Beautiful stunning view of the Sound. Would recommend anyone to stay here solo or even as a couple 🌸

There's no doubt about it, the expansive views from the patio are stunning! Having my morning coffee while listening to the birds chirping joyfully and the soothing sounds of the Sound below is a soulful way to start the day. The gorgeous and fragrant roses in the garden just added to the experience as did the sweet black & white kitty who meandered over on occasion.
The apartment itself is simple but lovely, with beautiful views from both bedroom and living room. And I appreciated the fresh bouquet that Kristi left on the table. A wonderful touch. Kristi and Pat are warm and personable and definitely happy to answer to questions and field requests. The market and bakery just a few easily walked blocks away are exceptional for morning goodies and scrumptious sandwiches, salads, soups and beverages. Highly recommend!
One thing to note: the apartment has its own entrance and the patio will be yours while you're there so in that way, it's private. But the house is not soundproof and because the apartment is below the main house, you will hear the occupants above. It's not generally a big deal unless they are hosting a gathering as they did one evening when I was there. In which case, it was disruptive. But when I mentioned it to Kristi, she was responsive which I really appreciated.
Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay at a very reasonable price point for all you get. Enjoy!

Probably the most beautiful view of any place we’ve stayed. We literally tried to be back every evening to watch the sunset behind Mt. Olympic mountain range (cocktails recommended).
Pat (artist in residence) and Kristi were great hosts and answered all of our questions and shared numerous points of interest (notebook downstairs assists in this as well). Numerous activities/restaurants within walking distance.
Highly recommend and if we are ever back in the area, will definitely be staying again!!!

We arrived at the Outlook tired from a long flight from the UK and walked down the path to the most mesmerising view - then spent many hours over the next few days just watching the ever changing scene. The Outlook is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood, but its easy to get into Seattle via a 10 minute walk to the C line bus, which runs every 10 mins throughout the day. Kristi and Pat are gracious hosts, and answered our queries very quickly. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return before too long.

Can’t say enough about how lovely this unit was. The location was so relaxing over the water and the locals were very friendly. Loved walking to the beach and the nearby restaurant and market and food truck.
Everything was exploding with color and the flowers are huge. Some even greeted us on the table. The weather was perfect. And the unit too. We used the microwave to heat up meals from the market and enjoyed eating on the patio, sleeping in the comfortable bed and relaxing in the cozy living room area, complete with soft blanket. Hope to come again!

Very nice single bed ground level apartment with an excellent view of the Sound. Private patio faces west and is a great place to watch the sunset from. I would rent here again!

Couldn’t Have Asked For More!
We really could not have asked for more! When I turned the corner to see The Lookout it practically took my breath away. Pictures don’t do it justice. We spent time just sitting enjoying the view and also exploring Seattle. The bus to get to downtown is just over 2 blocks where we caught the “C”. We we easily able to get to the “heart of the action” while still having a calm, beautiful, peaceful retreat to return to each day. It was the perfect mix of big city/smaller “town” ocean view. (Although this is still a part of Seattle, it has a completely different feel). Kristi is a wonderful host. Always available for questions and explaining things. There wasn’t a thing missing! Kristi even had Aspirin in the medicine cabinet that I used. I look forward to returning again!! Thank you Kristi!

Amazing waterfront property.
The apartment is perfectly laid out, very clean. We enjoyed the view from the patio for morning coffee and sunset views. I'm not sure how the describe the surrounding yard- 360 degrees of it! The gardens and landscaping were exhaustive in their beauty. The property is on a quiet, dead end street. Located close enough to Seattle attractions, and the local restaurant scene won't disappoint.
The owners were very responsive though we did not need anything.

PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE
Our stay at The Lookout couldn't have been more perfect. The house was exactly as described and pictured BUT THAT VIEW...the photos don't do it justice. Incredible water view from every window, easy walk to the local restaurants and beach and lots of options to get to the city with or without a car. The hosts are an amazing couple. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in the Seattle area. I can't recommend it highly enough!
