Very relaxing place. Beautiful views! Had everything i wanted to have a relaxing getaway and unwind.

The cottage was quaint and cozy. But watch out for sudden level changes. There are these little step ups thru the whole house and they blend in with the wood floors. Many of stubbed toes and trips

It was lake access, a boat ramp, and positive reviews that drew me in. Once on-site, I was able to see that this house needs attention - especially the first floor. The electrical outlet in the kitchen was hanging out of the wall. There were ants on the countertop despite our efforts to keep clean. And the uneven floors caused more than one stubbed toe. Renovations are required to raise the quality of the property.

All and all great stay, a lot of steps but good place too stay if you like quiet and peaceful this is the place for you

We visited for just a few days and this place met all of our needs. The lakefront property was beautiful. We celebrated 4th of July on the water and were able to dock our boat right at the house making water sports an ease. The house was in great condition and dog friendly. We loved using the hot tub and having an evening fire lakefront. The beds were comfy and the house was decorated to please the eye! No major issues and we would return again.

Our holiday stay was a pure delight. The charming fireplace added a cozy touch, perfect for chilly evenings, and the private beach was simply breathtaking. Additionally, Scott was incredibly responsive, ensuring that any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

The property is located perfectly inside of Deep Creeks inlets and had such amazing views. Check in/out was simple and straightforward. The hot tub was awesome and took advantage of the great views! A+++ loved our stay, wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The house is a little dated and needs some TLC, but that did not detract from the stay. The location was spectacular. Even in the cooler weather we enjoyed fishing and kayaking. A 20 minute drive can get you to almost anything you need. Communication with the host was speedy.

This place was nice and clean. Ideal for large groups looking for a relaxing get away.

Quiet in the winter. Lots of space to spread out. Hot tub is nice and the kids enjoyed the frozen lake.

We really enjoyed get family together at this location from the Midwest and the East Coast. The location is more of a lake cottage/ski resort feeling but it is away from the crowds. We were there during Christmas, and it was everything we hoped for. The lake was frozen and there was snow. We even brought our own Christmas Tree and enjoyed Christmas morning around the fireplace looking out over the snowy lake. It was a wonderful place to gather with family!

Nice little place right on the water. Surprisingly the hot tub was one of the highlights of our stay. Cozy room downstairs where we spent most of our time. Kitchen is open and made for an easy time of being together. Only negative aspects were that the pots and pans were in need of replacing. I get it is a home that many people use and not in need of the most high end supplies but many of them were dirty with burnt on residue and had seen better days. Also, the grill did not work. It would never get above 150. This was a problem because two of our meals were planned around usage of the grill. We did enjoy our stay and time together.

Great location close to everything but nice and quiet. This is our second time staying here and we'll definitely be back.

Overall we are very pleased with our rental. If I could recommend a change then it would be to taper the doorway areas on the uneven floor elevations upstairs. It would not stop me from returning if it’s not done but it would be safer. Thanks

We had a wonderful time in this eclectic home. We loved all the artwork the location and really enjoyed the hot tub. Would recommend this property.

We really liked the property! Liked the 2 living rooms. Location is great. House had everything we needed. My pups loved it. And it was my birthday! Rented a boat and we went everywhere. Restaurant were great. Only complaint was the weather!!! Out of your control and mine.. But regardless had a great time !

This is a nice place but it is a little run down and the beds are terribly noisy. The floor in the kitchen is a bit gross. The downstairs bathroom had a funny smell to it and the pits and pans could use some updating. The view of the lake is spectacular. The outdoor space and the hot tub were excellent. I would stay here again, but updates to the items above would be nice to have. The owner is very responsive.

Their were several issues with this property upon our arrival to include: cleanliness, safety concerns for children, overgrown yard, mold, and overall not as represented in listing. We contacted the manager, explained the concerns and he granted us a full refund. He apologized and said we would address all our concerns.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this amazing house. We had a great time relaxing on the deck, in the hot tub. My husband and grandkids fished from the dock. It was nice having a private dock to be able to park the boat at. Our dogs even enjoyed just laying on the shaded deck. Wonderful vacation!

The location and boat slip were ideal. The dock could use a little tlc. But overall ok. The house is fairly easy to find once you drive around a few times missing it. First impressions were that they needed aomeone to routinely care for the exterior.; there were leaves, pine needmes, etc all over the ealks and steps which were a bit slippery. Heading down the side steps, it looked as if a small animal, we were hoping small anyhow, had been killed and the fur was everywhere. The deck is nice but as stated in other reviews the overgrown bushes block a beautiful view of the lake. The deck could also use some attention as it was covered in cobwebs, pine needles, leaves, etc. There were several broken chairs, one wooden one and one plastic one. Therefore we didn't have enough chairs for around the fire pit for the 6 of us. Hot tub was a nice add. The fire pit wasnt anything special and you really had to be careful not to tip over backswards, the area is not level at all. Outsode lighting was non existent so the stsors at night were very treacherous. Inside the house was ok.; more camplike which was fine. Our main complaint would be that it just wasnt convenient. When they send you a list of what they supply, they arent kidding. Thats it. We had to head back to the grocery store and buy all condiments, sugar, etc. Paper towels and toilet paper were not supplied either. Cleanliness was ok. Nothing major there. We did enjoy the stay and because we were there to boat the lake we did not spend a huge amount of time in the house but we felt like the amount we were charged for rent , a few of these issues could be fixed and some money put towards some updates. It could be a really great rental if the owners took some things into consideration.

A fire in the pit at night finishes off a great day. Also it's just a few minutes drive to the State park for some hiking. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Overall the the accommodations were good. Mattresses and couches are old and need to be replaced. There were tripping hazards around the house and outside on the deck. Stairs near dock need to be replaced too. Would strongly suggest using some reflective tape on all the different lips upstairs. Everyone in the party tripped at least once during our stay. View was beautiful,fire pit, hot tub, and water pressure outstanding. Wonderful time with our family and friends.

Property was nice, missed a day of boating because the the docks weren’t in. Place needs some updates (mostly furniture). Biggest issue was bushes across the deck blocking the view of the water seemed weird that you would block the view. Would rent again had a blast!!

This was a great location and somewhat rustic in surroundings as well as the edifice (which is why I chose this property). We were very pleased to find the hot tub was fired up and ready to use. The kitchen and baths were sufficiently stocked with all necessary items. The master bed upstairs was a little squeaky as aforementioned in another review and the blinds had minor damage (the end was a bit frayed). There was also a surprise visit from a crew of loggers who removed and cut some trees which required us to relocate our vehicles. Not sure if we had any say, but we returned to our much-needed R&R. All in all, I recommend this location for a good quiet, and authentic feel for this Deep Creek Lake experience.
