Ligging en heel ruim

Beetje verouderd en niet echt zeezicht.

La propreté était impeccable, la grande terrasse extérieure, l'accueil de Diana à notre arrivée, 10 minutes à pied de la grande plage de Valence. Juste en face d'un arrêt du tram; très pratique et à deux coins de rue des autobus de la ville. Lit confortable, serviette de plage fournie. Les chambres sont en arrière donc très tranquilles!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable.The outside space is amazing. Diana was very attentive and helpful.

Roof Terrace was brilliant, Kitchen facilities, bedrooms, showers all good. Location near the sea ideal and access to transport into the city easy (Uber but also came across Cabify a similar service). Close to beach (fantastic beach & Resturants). Diana helped us when we locked ourselves out.

The noise from the bars (especially one night when the local football ultras needed escorting away by 20+ police). But that was the exception.

On the balcony there was noise from the road.

* The location was good for walking to beach front. * Trams and bus stops were very close and it was easy to get to Saler Centro Comercial (for Alameda, City of Arts and Oceanogràfic) and València old Town (El Carmen) The nearest stop for the open topped tourist bus was by the Playa des Las Arenas Hotel, a pleasant walk from the apartment (turning right when you get to the beachfront) (EUR18 for one day or EUR20 for two!) * The balcony was huge and could be opened up to the elements or closed with glass panels at the sides and above (with aircon). * Supermarkets close by (we liked the smaller but slightly limited one across the road and heading in the beach direction, Ali's, because he was very friendly and spoke English) * Apartment was in a clean and friendly building. * A few restaurants in the street below but lots of options on the beach front if you turn right or left at the beachfront. * McDonalds opposite (not our thing, but might be handy). We enjoyed having some takeaways using the app GLOVO which worked really well and you could get everything from Tapas to washing-up liquid delivered! * Good wifi. * Good communication with management. * Taxi/transfers booked for us for us from the airport - €30 each way. * Late check-out permitted as no other booking for the day we left and we had a late flight - thank you. (On arrival hosts were happy to look after our bags until check-in time too).

I have to say that the positives outweigh the negatives BUT... * I found the apartment to be inexcusably grubby in places. Dirty cutlery and crockery in not-so-clean cupboards and drawers. Milk frother of Nespresso machine had caked/burnt milk in it! Both bathrooms needed descaling and proper deep cleaning. Hefty cleaning fee charged to us so why wasn't it properly cleaned thoroughly before our arrival? It may be that some of the cleaning had been entrusted to the previous guests. If this was the case, why wasn't it thoroughly checked? Very disappointed in this aspect, it was off-putting and it was a problem. Such a shame and so easily avoidable. * Only one coffee pod per person per stay. You are invited to order more at 50c each! A poor show and a bit mean in my opinion. I’d take your own, it's a Nespresso machine with milk frother. (Providing one pod per guest per day or one packet of 10 wouldn't have broken the bank!) * No welcome gift (not even a bottle of water) or note. Little ‘touches’ can mean a lot. * Instructions needed for combi-microwave, some info had worn off on the dial so impossible to use intuitively. All of the above reported, so hopefully it will be different/improved for whomever is reading this and proceeds with a booking! * You will hear the elevator noises in the smaller 2nd bedroom, might be an issue for light sleepers.

Location was very convenient to access the beach. Big Supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The outdoor terrace view of the Mediterranean Sea and sunset added greatly to the experience. All the amenities you could possibly need including beach chairs and sun umbrellas. We also enjoyed the library of Spain travel books.

You'll need to walk 1 hour, take a taxi or use public transportation to get to other Valencia sites, however if a beach stay is what you are looking for, then this apartment woukd fulfill your needs.
