The property is well-equipped, modern, and was ready for us to “move right in.”, i.,e., toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, and paper towels. Makes it easy to get your own things in a day or two and return the favor by leaving some behind.
It is a comfortable condo … and the golf course view was really nice. The balcony is perfect for reading, breakfast, and rating golf swings. Golf course maintenance crews start early in the morning - so be ready to go by six … or lay in bed and realize you don’t have to cut your own grass - so lay there, smile, and go back to sleep when they finish after about 15 minutes. The water hazard comes equipped with fish, ducks, turtles, and the stray golf ball.
The community pool is perfect for lounging or some exercise if so inclined. The water is heated, the pool is clean and gets to 8 foot depth - though it is probably not perfect for die-hard lap swimmers.
The three patios are nice to have and everything you need is inside this 3-level condo. There is also a one car garage that in addition to saving your vehicle from the Arizona sun is well-stocked. And though we didn’t have occasion to use the bikes - that would have been a good thing to do.
If you like to walk - the neighborhoods and near-by parks are ideal. The condo is situated as a perfect jump-off point to get virtually anywhere in any direction.
Communication with the owners was easy - the materials were comprehensive, easy to digest, and spot on. They are also readily available and helpful should you need to contact them during your stay.
The neighbors are also quite friendly without being nosey. It feels like a great neighborhood - many are permanent residents who will welcome you with lots of tips and suggestions in addition to the very solid ones given by the owners.
If you’re like us your eyes get blurry from reading all these reviews. This one is meant to be honest and sincere. We’d definitely come back should we choose another month long stay in the Phoenix area - assuming they’d have us. LOL
The owners graciously allow small dogs, and we did bring along our two who adapted quickly to the property - nothing hazardous or difficult happened or made it tough for them. Of course, they’d never seen turtles so that was fascinating to watch. And they got fairly up close and personal with ducks and are amazed by pigeons. There were some other dogs in the area - all very friendly.

The owners thought of everything you could possibly require to make your stay like being at home. Cathy reached out to us shortly after we arrived to ask us if there was anything she could do, if she possibly forgot somnething. The townhome is in a great area, fun watchiung the neighbour next door feed the ducks. Fun watching golfers go by as they conversed with themselves. Ho,e was very clean, super well stockedm comfy beds.

Beautiful residence in a nice safe area. The hostess was easy to contact and very helpful. The residence was very clean and well supplied with essentials. The kitchen was well equipment for making daily meals and baking!! The balcony is facing a golf course and a channel of water. We loved feeding the ducks and watching the turtles! The location is also good being close to 101 and 60.

Other than a glitch with an incorrect door code upon arrival (which the owner made swift amends), we found the townhome to be everything we could want. It was well appointed, plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils, beds were very comfortable and the unit was very quiet (other than a few barking dogs a few times). We especially liked the balcony and view out to the 16th Fairway and watching the ducks and geese in the pond below. Would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I found the property to be very clean and quiet. It is in a great location with easy access to the freeway to get anywhere in the valley. We enjoyed watching the golfers and the wildlife in the stream outside of our window & deck. Appreciated the office space so I could do a little work while visiting. We would recommend this property.

We loved our month away from winter in the Midwest. Lots of sunshine! Beautiful, exceptionally clean townhome in a convenient location to many Arizona attractions - museums, restaurants, hiking, and day trips. The quiet back balcony overlooking a golf course and the canal with ducks and turtles made it so relaxing. Great spot to enjoy coffee in the morning, read a book, and have drinks in the evening. The owner called us shortly after our arrival to make sure everything was okay and when we had any questions was always available to us by phone or email. The neighbors were so nice and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Mesa.

When my family and I arrived at the condo in Mesa, we were greeted with a welcoming courtyard that led to the door of the condo. Everything was exactly as described in this well furnished and well maintained condo. Views were fantastic overlooking a municipal golf course-Dobson Ranch.. We loved that there were bathrooms in each bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Easy to get around to and from the condo. Grocery including liquor store (Robertsons), restaurants a few blocks away. The owner was very personable and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again!

They did a beautiful job renovating the townhouse! We stayed for a month and had every amenity we needed. The property wasn't the best for little children though, lots of stairs and nowhere to play outside besides the pool. Would definitely recommend for anyone with older/no children. Great location with easy access to hwy 60 & 101. Cathie was also wonderful to work with!

We were so pleased with our stay. The place was beautiful and very clean. Cathie was so helpful and we appreciated her concern that our stay be pleasant. The area is beautiful with canals with ducks, turtles and even an egret. I can say with confidence that you won't find a better place to stay!!

We loved everything about the condo and the location. Close to all the conveniences and attractions. Great view off the balcony onto the golf course and we (and our dog) enjoyed watching the ducks, turtles, birds and golfers. The neighbors on either side are very nice and were kind enough to suggest some great places to see. The owners are great to work with and very accessible and we appreciated the welcome package. That was a nice surprise!

Upon arrival there was a bottle of wine, crackers, and jelly. Since we had a late flight and had no time to stop at a market, this was very welcoming gift.
The townhouse was tastefully decorated and very comfortable and very clean. Neighbors were nice. Beautiful grounds to walk my dog. Very dog friendly. Loved our stay there.

While waiting for the purchase of our home to close we need a place to stay that was not a hotel the home was clean neat and everything you would need for a home away from home. Cathy was helpful and had everything ready for us right down to a book of places to go and everything in the home and how to use it. I would stay here again, and refer visitors.

This was our second time staying at this location. The condo is well appointed and ready to go when you walk in. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances/dishes/pots,pans/cutlery etc. We loved sitting out on the back balcony as the sun set and quiet settled in. The trees invite various small and large birds, while ducks, turtles etc., enjoyed the water feature. The location makes for easy access to various parts of the greater Phoenix area, the desert for hiking and the mountains for exploration. Owners are helpful and easy to communicate with.

We have just completed a one month stay in this awesome condo. Everything is just as described if not better. The furnishings and appointments are first class. The location is close to shopping and all of the major highways. The owners are extremely easy to work with and will not disappoint you. Thanks so much for a great stay. We could not have been more pleased with this home. We have rented with VRBO many times but never found such a clean, well equipped, and high quality finished home. Everything from the construction details to the furniture, decorations, sheets and towels were the best quality. We are golfers and really enjoyed Dobson Ranch but also tried a few other courses while we there. The location is great for access to restaurants, grocery stores etc. One of the nicest features was the easy access to lock/unlock and alarm the home. We felt completely safe to leave our valuables at home for our daily adventures. We would highly recommend this town home. Cathy and Brenda were great to deal with and we will definitely return!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Everything was as advertised, clean, well equipped and quiet. Condo is located in a gated community, backing onto the golf course...although we were part of a townhouse complex, the location was very private. Great location, plenty of shopping nearby, great access the all areas of Phoenix. We are long time VRBO renters, this property is the nicest we have ever rented. Owners are very attentive to the details that make a difference on where you will want to stay next time.....looking forward to next year. Thanks again!

My husband and I totally enjoyed this condo. It is very well appointed. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen (especially the wine cooler/fridge). The location, even for non-golfers, was ideal. Easy cycling in the area and access to further trails. The 'free' wildlife was an added bonus..turtles, ducks, geese, birds. The condo was clean and ready when we arrived. Binders of information are provided. There were no drawbacks at all for us and we highly recommend this property for couples, families, friends. We look forward to our stay next year!

In all the years we have used VRBO we have not received a welcome note and gift as we did here - nice touch. The condo is completely stocked with everything you will need. As we were on vacation we did not do a lot of cooking/baking but had we wanted to the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. Cathie has compiled a book of everything you would like to know about the area which proved to be very helpful. Thanks to her recommendations we found a few new favorite restaurants.
The complex location is great - near shopping, golf (great rates and staff at the Dobson Ranch Golf Course) and airport.Our actual unit was fantastic... ducks, geese, woodpeckers, hummingbirds right off our deck... great way to spend an afternoon. Will definitely stay with them again.

This newly renovated condo is exactly as described :clean, comfortable and well appointed with quality items.The owners have taken great care to provide everything needed for an extended stay. The condo and the owners are well organized and our rental arrangements were uncomplicated. The location is convenient and the community of Dobson Ranch has a lot to offer.We are planning to return next year!

We stayed at Cathie and Brenda's vacation rental in Mesa last June and again in October.... and are way overdue to write this review! The home looks even better in person as there have been added touches since the photos were taken... more artwork and the downstairs family room/computer area now has a TV plus recliner and is much cosier than it appears in the pictures. We also enjoyed the new wine cooler, even for red wine! It's all so comfortable, well laid out and inviting.
Lots of nice restaurants nearby (our favourite was Macayo's and you must sit on the deck overlooking the canal) and the malls are to die for! It was great riding their bikes around the neighbourhoods, parks and beside the waterways, but head out early if you're there in June! We didn't get a chance to use the downstairs patio but enjoyed the main floor balcony, especially the loungers. The view of the golf course and water features are serene and the home itself was cool and comfortable even in summer. The community is very quiet yet close to major highways. We had no problem going into Old Town Scottsdale for dinner or evening entertainment, and if you don't want to drive you can always find something to do in and around Mesa.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend highly.
