The Stone Crab house provided the perfect Folly Beach getaway. Located within easy walking distance to the beach, the pier, Bert's market and all of the restaurants/bars, made this a super convenient home base. The home is clean, comfortable, well stocked and provides ample space to be able to spread out and relax. The other unit wasn't occupied, but you would have enough privacy if it was. The underneath space includes a big screen tv w/cable, which was nice to watch football and the hot tub was clean and well maintained. Check in/out is very easy and communication with management is too - they were very responsive and checked in a few times to see how things were going. Roughly 25 minutes to Charleston (airport is a little further), 40 minutes to Isle of Palm's and Sullivan's Island, there was a lot to explore and plenty of things to do. This home is a great value and we would highly recommend it - we'll be back!

The house is great. Lots of space, everything was in great condition, and the bonus room with the grill and hot tub was a hit with our kids. The management was responsive via text and helpful.

Easy. Everything was easy for us (3 couples), from check-in to check-out. And the location made enjoying the Folly Beach area super easy as well. The amenities were great, and we didn't even get to use them all. The hot tub worked well and the common areas were great. Would definitely get this place again.

Pros: - Location is absolutely phenomenal. You are a block away from everything in Folly, including the beach. - Property is beautiful. They've done a good job of keeping the property modern and updated. - Communication from the management company was typically very swift and responsive. Cons: - There was really only one negative, but it was a large one unfortunately that put a damper on our trip. There were no less than 25 palmetto bugs (cockroaches) under the kitchen sink on our trip. It was constant from the first night until the day we left. I reported this immediately and management responded by sending over a maintenance worker to spray. This was ineffective as more appeared the second night than the first. They provided us with spray for the second night. We killed 3 upon our return from Charleston, and sprayed under the sink ourselves. A parade of 10 of them appeared throughout the next 3 hours. After a pest control company treated the unit on the third day, we again saw and killed 4-5 the third night, and another 3 the final night. While the owner offered some payment concessions for the issue (nice gesture but not really enough given the severity of the pests), and communication was responsive, the problem was not solved our entire trip and really effected the comfort of our stay at night. I would recommend the property provided this issue is solved. I would stay there again provided this issue is solved. Just relaying for future tenant transparency.

The unit was perfect for our family trip. There were eight of us who met for this trip. Home was a quick walk to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. The home was just as advertised. The management company was very responsive regarding a couple of minor issues. Would definitely stay again!
