We had a wonderful stay over the holidays. Our daughter and her partner live a 5 min walk away so the location was perfect. We were very comfortable and enjoyed cooking and hanging out together as a family. Definitely will stay here again!

This is probably the 6th or 7th year we’ve stayed at Tricia’s house in the old north end but the first year we’ve brought our daughter. The kind bedroom perfectly fit a toddler air mattress for her (she was a little small for a twin bed but outgrew the pack and play).
The house is close enough to walk downtown for meals and shopping and just a short drive to kid-friendly activities like the Echo aquarium and Vermont Teddy Bear. We had a great long weekend in this well-stocked house!

Wonderful location. Beautiful home. Would book again.

This house is the ultimate New England vacation rental! Old world charm galore, but all the modern touches you need (including ample device plug-ins by the beds). One of the most well-appointed rentals we’ve ever stayed in and we really appreciated every little detail. We stayed for a week visiting our son at UVM and it’s in a great location for that, as well as walking to and from Church Street. Wish we were still there!

Enjoyed our 6 night stay in Tricia’s cottage that was perfect for our family of three while visiting our son for family day weekend at Champlain. Short walk to campus as well as Church Street. Tricia was a fabulous host - proactively communicative throughout. Charming older property that is very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Trichia's place. The home is confortable and super clean, and the hot tub out back was an extra bonus we made use of every night. We could walk back and forth from Church Street on safe and well-lit streets. Love that there were two washers and dryers in the basement!

Amazing location and beautiful property — perfect for UVM move in week! Tricia was gracious and helpful and the house is easily walkable to so many great spots.

It was great. Tricia was warm, welcoming, and responsive. We stayed 4 nights with two kids ages 3 and 6. The home is exactly as described. Beyond that, i really appreciated the little things. For example, there were a few plastic plates, cups, and bowls for the kids to use at meals. There were some plastic baggies, scotch tape, laundry detergent, scissors, etc in the drawers that came in really handy. Its easy to forget to bring these little things that prevent kiddo meltdowns (like the toddler's urgent need to cut a piece of string hanging from their shirt!!! Crisis averted!!! Hahaha).
Tricia also provided us a good spot to store our bikes while on our visit. We used them daily, and really took advantage of the Island Line bike trail (if you enjoy cycling, this is a must). The house is walking distance to many amenities and restaurants.
I highly recommend booking!

Wonderful house, very clean and in great condition. The owner was so helpful providing info about the area and quick responses when needed. Our favorite part was the location. Easy, 5 minute walk to food, shopping, and only 10-15 minute walk to the lake.

We had a family reunion with my kids, spouses and grandkids in the area - the house is perfectly located for access to church street market, restaurants, shops and Burlington waterfront and Echo Museum.
The vintage house is very nicely decorated and just perfect for relaxing. 3 very pretty, comfy bedrooms - and beds (king, queen and two twin beds) Bathroom is large with two sinks and modern fixtures. Kitchen is small but nicely outfitted with a great new oven/stove, fridge, MW, drip coffee maker, small pod coffee maker, and all pots and pans for cooking.
Large sunny windows throughout with a wonderful front porch perfect for morning coffee and conversation. Covered Back Porch was perfect for leaving Sandy shoes outside.
Super easy walk for bagels, coffee, shopping and dinner/drinks.
It was wonderful to spend time visiting with family in such comfy surroundings.
Tricia, the host, answered all questions before and during our visit very quickly and had filled the house with plenty of essential supplies. Washer and dryer were available for use as well.
We will return for future get togethers!

Our extended family stayed here for our sons graduation from uvm. Everything was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better- we could walk to campus and downtown easily. My father is disabled and our host kindly helped us with the storage and charging of his scooter. She happened to be there when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. There was nothing we would have changed!!

Nice house in a great location. Close to UVM, Church Street, the lake, etc. Kind and responsive owner.
Lost a star due to spotty wifi and miscommunication with the cleaning crew.

This home was perfect for me, my spouse, and our two boys ages 13 and 15. This was my first trip to Vermont since the week of the New Year during Y2k when my spouse and I were much younger and able to ski all week without any rest days so it was definitely fun to bring our kids back for a visit after 23 years. We spent the week after Christmas in this home and had a great family vacation. This home was a perfect base for driving to Bolton Valley, Mad River Glen, and Sugarbush for skiing, and we also took a short drive to Waterbury to tour the Ben and Jerry's factory and dinner at Hen of The Wood. From the house, we were able to walk to the waterfront and walk to dinner and shopping on Church Street. The home is on a quiet residential street. After a long two-day drive from Tennessee, the home was comfortable and clean with plenty of extra blankets and towels and the wifi was fast enough to catch up on a little work and for my 13 year-old son to play his VR game in the basement some nights. It is an older home loaded with charm and I appreciated the little touches like the boot trays by the back door and coffee and tea. Tricia was very quick to answer any questions. We were a little confused about the trash and recycling but quickly figured it out with the book of instructions left in the home. I would love to return someday, maybe in the Summer this time, and would definitely stay here again

Our extended family came up for a quick weekend to visit our daughters who are student athletes at UVM. The property is actually just a few houses down from their off campus apartments on College St..…so the location was perfect/walking distance to everything (UVM campus, Church St., waterfront, etc.)
The house is immaculate….very clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a stay.
The owner has excellent communication from initial booking to check out, and is close by if anything comes up.
We would definitely stay at this property in the future…and would recommend it to family and friends on their future visits to Burlington and/or the UVM campus.

I stayed here to visit my daughter at UVM. It is walkable to campus and Church St which made it great for friends to come and go. Cooking was easy with everything I needed provided in the kitchen. Great dining table for gathering. Plenty of comfortable seating in living room and the gas stove turns on with a switch. Two parking spaces in the driveway and we found a third nearby easily. The host lives next door and was lovely. I’ll be back!

Tricia our property owner was very nice and always accessible. House was quaint, clean and comfortable as could be. Located just a couple blocks from Church St and a number of restaurants and local supermarket co-op. Best place and great experience! Loved the front porch! Thank You Tricia!

Great location!! Quaint and comfy home! Front porch has great comfy furniture where we sat and read on our many rainy days! All bedrooms and bath are upstairs which became a problem as I fell in day one and fractured knee! But I managed!
Well stocked kitchen so check before you shop!
Abundance of sheets, towels, quilts and blankets!!! I loved this house… wish I had not had the crutches!!!

The first thing Spouse said when we walked in was "I've never seen a cleaner VRBO." Excellent accommodations, perfect for our week vacation, space for boards and bikes, great help from host when we needed it, close to restaurants and Creemees. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We are 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 kids (ages 4 & 8). We had a wonderful time at Tricia's place. The location could not be beat! We could walk to so many things downtown, but still be in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. We spent hours in the afternoons and evenings on that great front porch. The window AC units kept the entire house cool (even on some very hot days!). But we could also open windows in the cool of the morning for that great Vermont fresh air. Communication from our host was top-notch. We all agreed it was a perfect place for our vacation week and would not hesitate to return!

Clean, comfortable & great location!
We stayed for a quick trip to Burlington and to visit UVM. The house was spotless at check-in. Instructions for access and the home guide were clear. The house is older but is in perfect working order and the owners have maintained all of its original charm. The location was ideal - between downtown and campus. Easy walk both directions. Beds were unusually comfortable for a rental. Plenty of spare linens and towels. The owner was quick to respond, though we didn’t need any help during the stay. We’d definitely stay again!

My Husband, son and I came out to Burlington to spend Thanksgiving break with our daughter, who is a freshman at UVM. We met both Tricia and Erik during our stay and they couldn’t have been better hosts. Their property truly is a home away from home - beautifully maintained, it has everything you could possibly need and is ideally situated being just a short walk from both the UVM campus and Church Street in downtown Burlington. We would definitely love to come and stay again in the future.

Great proximity to town
The house was clean and very comfortable. It was within walking distance to town. A bit noisy with college students walking up and down the street late at night, but that may have been because we went Halloween weekend.

Wonderful place!
This is a lovely home, spotlessly clean with everything we needed, walking distance to downtown, and a very responsive, pleasant and helpful owner right next door. We spent many evenings on the comfortable front porch enjoying the neighborhood and surrounding foliage. Trisha was available for any questions and recommendations about the area. We highly recommend this home!
