This house is so convenient for Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills. Everything is just a matter of a few minutes away. There’s a nice park in front of the house, it’s a nice place to walk, take your pets or let your children play. You don’t have to worry about traffic. This is the second time we’ve rented the house. We just love it and the owners are fantastic!

We stayed at Perry’s rental house for 2 weeks . September 23rd to October 7th . We got to know Perry and Fran very well . They are both very sweet people . They had the house ready early and let us check in way ahead of the normal check in time . It was nice to have plenty of clean towels provided as well as sheets . Fran even brought us some muffins she had made that were delicious . We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for another 2 weeks next fall .

We have stayed in this rental several times because we love it. Great location, great host, always clean. It's the perfect distance to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay. Property was exactly as listed. Our dog loved the park and fenced back yard. Neighborhood was quiet. Centrally located. Sound side has a walking/riding path, and a gazebo looking over water to see amazing sunsets.

Enjoyed a family beach vacation in this quiet neighborhood. There is a park and playground right across the street. The circular roadway is perfect for walking pets, jogging or riding the many bikes provided. Convenient location near shopping, dining and short drive to the beach with plenty of free beach parking. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed - the appliances are all updated. The home was clean. The owner was very responsive. There is only one tv - bring your own streaming device. A lot of nice bath towels were provided. A cute little raccoon visited us a few nights - harmless but drove our dog crazy.

Perry was a great host and very nice to talk to! He was very helpful in letting us know some great places to check out ahead of time and very quick in responding to any questions we had. We would definitely choose this house again for a wonderful beach vacation!

The owners, Perry and Fran, are fantastic. We originally booked in 2022, but I had a medical emergency and we couldn't make our trip. They were extremely kind and understanding, and let us postpone our reservation to 2023. We had an amazing week with our two boys. The house is spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and included all amenities listed. It is located close to beach access and convenient to shopping. Five out of five stars. Thank you, Perry and Fran!

This was a smooth process from booking to a great stay! We were able to check in early, which was great! The location was perfect! We were able to walk to the beach or drive right down the road to a parking lot. And the weather was perfect!

It was a nicely located place right across from a big park. Short walk to the sound. The home was clean and very spacious. The fenced in back yard was great for my dog. Also, the beds were very comfortable which was great. We all had a great time staying here.

Pros: close to everything you’d want to do in the area, clean property, well stocked kitchen, abundance of clean linens, nice fenced in yard for kids and dogs, nice park across the street, great owner communication. Overall the home is a great value for the money. Cons: “two and a half blocks to the beach” but you can’t walk there due to having to cross four lanes of 50mph traffic. That was kind of a bummer. The traffic made it challenging to cross the street in a car to the public parking. Many of the wooden steps of both staircases leading up to entrances are rotted and spongy and close to causing an accident. Several of them made me very nervous and should be repaired as soon as possible. Kitchen needs a pizza cutter. :) Overall we were happy with the house, just sharing the above for both others who rent here and the owner to be aware of needs.

This property was exactly as advertised. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the home and the OBX from this quiet convenient location. We used bikes and beach chairs provided, too. Perry also provided good tips for local attractions and meals. Thanks!

Overall it was a good place for us. The location was good, it was as clean as indicated in previous reviews and had plenty space when we were visited by family members Only criticism was lack of sports channels on TV

We had the best stay at this home. It was perfect for our family of 3 and our two four legged children. The fenced in back yard was a great surprise and super bonus! Our dogs loved running free and playing with their toys. We rode the bikes to the coffee shop, bank, fishing, and park every day. The home was well stocked with towels, sheets, blankets, beach chairs, bikes, and anything I needed to cook in the kitchen. The host was extremely helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a perfect place to vacation. I’m just sorry it isn’t available in September when we visit for 2 weeks. Obviously, someone else feels the same way and beat us to the booking… says a lot about a home 😄 Thanks again, P. for hosting my family!

This property was everything we hoped for and everything that a family would need. We loved the bicycles and used them every day. The kitchen was outfitted to make whatever you wanted. A great experience!

The house was exactly what is listed. The house was clean and comfortable. Communication was prompt and courteous. Great stay. We would stay there again!

A good place to stay while we waited for our beach house to be available. It is close to everything in town but there’s not much of a view. The loft bedroom is not private and the only way to access the upstairs bathroom is through the two bedrooms.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just wonderful. We got to meet Perry, the host, and he is a very nice gentleman to talk with. He was adding some fencing, which will be a nice addition for guests with a dog. We were able to do some fishing while we were there, which was real nice. We are so looking forward to our next stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The home was very comfortable and we absolutely loved the screened-in porch! The location was perfect. We walked the dog around the park across the street every day. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stay here every year for our vacation, and just love the property. The location is fantastic, the home is wonderful, and the neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. My only concern this year was that some of the porch boards seemed to be getting pretty soft and spongy. We look forward to coming back again next year!

We were so happy to have found this home. With 2 young ones the park right at the house was perfect and the beach was so close. We do wish there was a crosswalk to cross the busy highway but the public parking area is just across and provided rinsing areas helped reduce sand in the car. It was super nice being central to the different areas in the OBX. We were able to explore so much with just short drives. The home was kept clean and well stocked with all the essentials. We even met the owner when we arrived (we got there early) and he gave us great information about shopping and best places to go. We have already rebooked for next year!

The place was nice. Big park for walking dogs right out front. Was easy to get to everything just off main road. Quiet neighborhood.

Very nice vacation house in Kill Devil Hills. Right across from the park, walking distance to the beach and sound. Crossing 158 to reach the beach is sketchy, other than that everything was great. We arrived early and were able to check in with no problem. Highly recommend this place.

What a truly magical experience! Our first time renting as adults, and it went so smoothly for a nice family vacation. Perry and Fran were wonderful with allowing us to check in earlier because of our timing from driving from NJ. Very polite. Everything was self explanatory to get into the house and to get out of the house. Gave wonderful suggestions for points of interest. We were so happy with everything. We are even talking about returning next summer!

Could not have been any better! Wonderful location near Beach and Sound. A park right across the street for the children and for us to take our dog. Close to Shops, Grocery Store, Resturants… and the Pier, with live music, an arcade for the kids… . loved every minute . Already booked our week for next summer .

Celebrated my daughter graduating and turning 18 this year with a trip to the beach. This house is only 2 or 3 blocks from public access to the beach with parking. The house was great. Loved all the amenities offered. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house is walking distance from a nice pier over the Bay. It is also across the street from a park with a playground, which was great for my kids. The street itself was also very quiet with low traffic. The beds were comfortable too!
