A house full,of history in a wonderful setting with the most generous and interesting hosts. With 2 large living rooms and a well equipped kitchen one couldn't ask for more. We just didn't want to leave. It's on the Cabot trail with easy ( driving ) access to some wonderful trails in the national park and a safe sandy beach within easy reach.

It was so nice to have a breakfast outside surrounded by big trees in complete privacy
House is 30 min drive from national park and major trails

It was right in the Cabot Trail so close to the park. It even had trails on the property of its own.

It was a great pleasure to stay in a circa early 1900s well-restored home. We felt we were living in an earlier era, in the history of Nova Scotia, yet in good comfort, The grounds are beautiful, Maggie's Place located in a good location for touring the Cabot Trail, and the staff was extremely helpful in receiving us and helping us get set up. We felt lucky to have found and stayed in this place. Next year we'll return with one or two other couples ... the place can easily accommodate several couples with 2 living areas, a dining room, a well-appointed kitchen, 2 bathrooms, good internet and TV, but who had time to watch TV.

We stayed at Maggie's on our family trip (four adults and two kids 4&1) to Cape Breton. It is a beautiful old house, decorated in vintage style with lots of antiques. The house is well maintained and highly clean; equipped with everything we needed and more. Uli the owner answered all our questions and requests in a kindly and timely manner. We couldn't be more pleased.
