Absolutely loved our stay here. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the room was large and modern and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The seafront is no more than a 2 minute walk away, and our room had a view of the sea with a seating area to enjoy the view! It’s also an easy walk into the town centre for food, drinks etc… We’ll definitely be back!

The room was lovely, clean and so spacious. Everything was well thought out and you did not need to bring anything other than toothbrush and paste as they provided excellent toiletries. Hot drinks facilities with fresh milk was a massive bonus. The location was perfect as it was close to the seafront and town centre. Easy parking. Sarah and Paul made us feel welcome and a
Lovely lemon cake made by Sarah was waiting for us when they showed us our room, just what we needed with a cup of tea and lovely people too

Fantastic room in a great location and only a stones throw from the beach, the pub and the town centre. The nice little touches in the room, lots of thought gone into it and the lemon drizzle cake baked by the host!

Fantastic hosts, made to feel very welcome. Large rooms, very comfortable. Loved the Bluetooth bathroom mirror to play my tunes while in the bath. Breakfast spot on, cafe around the corner if you want a cooked one. Home made lemon drizzle cake was awesome. First time in Hornsea, when we return we’ll not look anywhere else. Couldn’t have been better in my opinion. 😃

Sarah and Paul are both excellent hosts and the house itself is fantastic: large rooms, comfortable bed, great decor, and everything you could want provided. Also, the beach is literally at the end of the street!

Beautiful property! amazingly clean and the facilities where amazing! couldn’t of asked for a more amazing room to stay in!
Sarah and Paul where so welcoming and friendly! they made our stay so comfortable! The location next to the beach is perfect with lots of beautiful walks and fabulous places to eat! will definitely be back in the future

The breakfast was cereal in the room, which was good for us, as we were travelling around and were fed up with cooked breakfasts.

Merlstead House is in a great location near to the seafront at Hornsea. It made a good base for exploring the local area. The room was huge with a side sea view and had a king size bed, large sofa, dining table and chairs as well as a dressing room area and en-suite. Everything you needed for your stay was provided including cordials, tea, coffee, milk and cereal for breakfast. Comfy bed, Good shower in the en-suite. Easy on street parking. Helpful hosts. We hope to stay again.

not a breakfast as such. There was cereal milk and tea and coffee provided in the room. There was a mini fridge so a big plus for that. And a lemon drizzle cake home made my husband loved that. All round it was great.
