Probably the most beautiful villas I’ve stayed in. I was upgraded on arrival and got to enjoy a beautiful private pool all to myself. The staff were very helpful and could answer or organise things for you very quickly.

The food was very mediocre, I wouldn’t bother with the room service (western food at least was just frozen and poor quality). The location is also a bit remote, but the villas can arrange transport fairly cheaply. If you book a tour or car try to request an English speaking driver. I had two and my experience with Andy as far better as he acted a bit like a guide and was very friendly.

Batatu Villas was excellent, we loved the rooms and the outside pool area had everything we needed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. We were also kindly upgraded to a private villa by the owner which made the stay even better!

No fault of batatu villas but the road outside is pretty rough and fun in the wet

Outstanding staff! Beautiful villa with everything needed to live comfortably. Enormous pool for all, as well as a smaller pool in the very private villa. Good and safe drivers transported us wherever we wanted to go.

Small complex of 12 Private Villas. Staff were very helpful and attentive - always prepared to go 'the extra mile'. Communications mainly via Whatsapp - efficient/effective.

A little further from Kuta than we anticipated but a car shuttle was available. Just a bit too far to walk.

Top resort nabij het centrum. Je wordt in een appgroep gestopt met 22 medewerkers en vanuit daar regel je alles zoals vervoer, ontbijt, en een cocktail in het zwembad. Prachtige, onder architectuur gebouwde bungalows. Zeer vriendelijk eigenaar waar ik boeiende gesprekken mee heb gehad.

We stayed 10 days at Batatu, the room was perfect with a king size comfortable bed, the bathroom is beautifully designed. At your arrive the staff add you in a private whatapp group where they share all the info and ask every morning what kind of housekeeping you need for the day. On the last day we also tried food and was the best local food we had in Lombok. The villa is located in a local village 10 minutes scooter drive from Kuta and 10/20 minutes drive from all the principal beaches and surf spots. Last but not least, there is a huge pool for guests I’d you don’t book a villa with a private pool.

This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. Upon arrival, we were given a complimentary upgrade to one of the suites with its own private plunge pool, kitchen area, and sunken living room. The room was massive and modern. Everything was very clean. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the main drag of Kuta, so we rented a motorbike from the hotel for the length of our stay so that we could get around more easily. They have an extensive menu of Western and Indonesian food, juices, drinks, etc. The food was very good and always delivered to our room promptly. Everyone that works here is lovely. When our flight was canceled they allowed us to extend our stay by a couple of days for the same rate. Cannot recommend this hotel more.
