Lovely country pub/hotel. Room was spacious, clean and well presented. The hotel catering was great for dinner and breakfast.
The staff were friendly.
The beds mattress was very uncomfortable, it really needs to be replaced as quite saggy.

Our room (room 2) was delightful - it had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The styling was charming, in keeping with the rustic location but with a luxury feel. The food, service and location was exceptional and great value for money. Have no hesitation in recommending!

The location was excellent. Loved being able to take our dog away with us for a weekend.

Beautiful room, comfortable, cosy with all the signs of a good night to come.

Just as we got into bed, a loud humming sound started to come from the bathroom, which gradually grew louder and louder as the nigh drew on, making it almost impossible to sleep.
I tried to contact the cell number that I found in the room but the phone was off and I left a voicemail message but with no reply, even after having booked out.
What should have been a nigh to remember, was probably one of the worst night’s sleep (or no sleep) I’ve had in the last 15 years…

The pub and room character was fab. Great location, right by Carew Castle and very central to getting to lots of places. Staff were super friendly and we were well looked after. We'll definitely go back.

Nice room, comfy bed, great shower, very nice breakfast.
Bathroom hot (towel radiator), cold tap ran hot/warm for ages, bit of noise from upstairs.

my stay at the Carew Inn was very good, lovely location right next to the castle. Free parking, a large, nicely decorated clean room.
The shower in the morning was cool, when I told a member of staff they explained that the cottage next door had guests in it and they may have turned the boiler off accidently equaling a cold shower for us. The breakfast was nice but could have been warmer and if i was being picky it would be better if we where asked before the breakfast was served if we wanted toast with it.

The location was good, right oppostie Carew Castle, plenty of parking and free. The room was lovely and bed was comfy. The breakfast was limited but tasty. Dog was welcome too and ideal place to walk her.
A more varied breakfast and to decide on day what we would like rather than the night before as requested.
I would of liked a bigger bath towel too.

It was a good place to stay as it was so close to Carew Castle, the reason for our visit. The breakfast was very nice, huge portions. Our room was lovely.
Our bed was quite uncomfortable and we didn't sleep very well.

Breakfast was ok although part of the order was incorrect on the second morning. Evening meals were excellent and staff very helpful
The bathroom sink was too far away from where you stand and so was the mirror
