Wi-Fi was sporadic even after reset by owner. mold was above shower stall and response by owner why it was taken care of was, in essence, the unit is too busy to address. refrigerator compressor makes noise when cooling.

No fault of the property- but a bit of a tricky walk from the train station if you have luggage and taxis were a little difficult to find when we arrived and departed. Travel light!

most beautiful view in all of Varenna, and possibly all of Lake Como. Clean and comfortable place with everything you need to have a fun and calming vacation.

I would have liked to have had some type of awning to block the afternoon sun on the balcony.

This place was amazing. Alberto met us at the train station and gave us ride. The town of Varenna is picture perfect. This apartment had the absolute most amazing view. It honestly was amazing. We did a quick boat tour to Villa Balbianello with Taxi Boat Varenna which is literally just downstairs. The ferry is also very close. I mean, really, just do it. It's been the highlight of our trip so far.

The shower could use an overhaul...bigger and retiled, but the view more than made up for that...and I'm a bathroom snob.

The view was the best. loved the quality sheets and bedding. also the chilled bottle of Prosecco was a welcome treat after a long hot journey.

Only 2 wine glasses meant we had to wash them often. also one more comfortable chair in the living room would be a great addition.

The location and the view was exceptional! The owners were very helpful and offered to collect us from the station. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. There are many amazing restaurants within a few metres from the apartment.

Our stay was too short!

The location is incredible. Overlooking Lake Como with 180 degrees view. Less than 5 minute walk to the ferry. The hosts went out of their way to help celebrate a birthday. Organizing cake, balloons and flowers all to be in the apartment when we arrived. They responded to WhatsApp messages straight away and were happy to recommend activities and restaurants in the area. Alberto even picked us up from the station and gave us a quick tour of Varenna! Be mindful that in the winter season there are very few restaurants open. The view makes up for this though!

We had a 3-night stay in Varenna which was exceptional not only due to the wonderful apartment, but because our host was fantastic. We arrived by train at Varenna-Esino station, and our host met us and transported us to the apartment by car. Once at the property, we were provided with keys, a tour of the apartment, and tips for maximizing our enjoyment during our stay. The apartment comes with a written “manual” that contains information about the apartment and the area. Everything you could imagine needing for a comfortable vacation can be found in the apartment. Our host told us to contact him if we did need anything or had questions/concerns. He was easy to reach by text message and lives close by. The apartment looks out over the lake which means the views are absolutely spectacular. The ferry stop is a very short walk so you can explore the other towns on the lake. When it was time to depart, our host met us at the apartment and walked us to the train station. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with him and would gladly return to this property one day soon!

From the moment we arrived, Alberto made us feel at home; we had train problems, and he went with us twice to get the whole family. They provided way more than you could ever need, and they were so accessible throughout the entire trip. They took us back to the station in the pouring rain. I cannot say enough how much we loved this beautiful apartment and the people. Giorgio and his family are so kind and attentive. We will be back, and we can’t wait!!

The view was amazing! Lovely town. Friendly people. The owners were extremely helpful. Staying in Varenna was my favorite part of our trip!

Outstanding location and customer support

The view, the view, the view!!! Giorgio and Alberto were great hosts. They made us feel very welcome!

All was very good.

The hosts (Giorgio’s son Alberto came) were super helpful and met us at the train station, transported us to the apartment, and showed us around the apartment. He gave us helpful information about local stores and restaurants. It is easy to get to many places in the area. He also had the AC started for us, as we arrived during a huge heatwave. (So nice after traveling on a hot, muggy train!) And owners/employees at all of the stores and restaurants were super helpful and friendly sly too.

There were a LOT of stairs to get to the building and then up to the apartment. Because we were traveling for 3 weeks, handling our luggage was a pain on those stairs. When leaving, we opted to walk along the waterfront and had small “hills” to pull luggage up versus all of the stairs, which was MUCH easier.
