loved everything - very sneaky to find, look for the number they give you next to the cafe then it’s down a side street. once you’ve been down you’ll know where it is. The hotel sign is in an alcove so you can’t see it until your there.

Sweetest staff and owners who was helpful and kind in any situation. The hotel looks amazing and then location is the best.

We would like to thank the whole love song team! it was a wonderful stay. The location is simply perfect, everything is in the immediate vicinity, whether laundry, top restaurants, trendy coffee shops or yoga studios. the rooms are lovingly and stylishly furnished. the rooms are cleaned daily. Everything is super clean and the hotel is on a side street, so it's quiet with no street noise. The staff is very helpful. we can only recommend this little place! We are very grateful for the great impressions in the hotel and canngu and will definitely be back!

This place has been recently renovated and the interior of the rooms have a beautiful aesthetic. It was the nicest room that I stayed in the whole time in Bali. In previous comments there is mention of no doors to the toilet and this has been addressed. We had 2 villas and both had doors.

The only thing I can say is the shower was very temperamental. We had 2 villas and in our villa the hot water would come on very hot for like 30 seconds then it would go luke warm. I then used the shower in the other villa and the temperature was ok but the pressure was very weak. Other than this I could not fault my stay. Absolutely loved Love Song and would highly recommend.

the property is in the perfect location. the room itself is super spacious, with the most comfortable bed and the pool is perfect for a dip / lay in the sun to escape the chaos of Canggu.

They told me didn’t have booking when we arrived. the Australian owner actually got annoyed at me for asking rather than apologising for his mistake. literally gave me a lecture on how to behave calmly in Bali whilst being aggressive. pretty sure he was giving the lecture to himself I was sick during stay, and made it really difficult to change bed sheets. said they did it when they didn’t. Everything is low quality compared to what you get for the money in Bali. no atmosphere. Staff don’t speak english Called the Australian owner about Wi-Fi. told me “mate, stop worrying, it’s the best on the island” whilst I’m looking at the speed test saying it’s very slow. Wouldn’t even listen to my point The owner is clearly getting it wrong with their approach to customer service All in all, spend you money elsewhere with somewhere where you get good value for money

One of the best places to stay on Batu Bolong. Awesome vibe, amazing staff, big clean rooms with a cool aesthetic. I just got back and there was new renovations throughout the hotel, it is simply great value for money. Big pool with loungers and all new swim up bar thats fully stocked with multiple classic cocktails including a few new ones and a selection of beers and hard seltzers. Perfect for a nice social drink to meet other guest but plenty of room to relax and enjoy solo too. Will always come back!

The location of the hotel is excellent! It was within 10-15min walking distance to our favorite cafes and spas. The room is spacious, the pool area wonderful and in the night it’s quite. We will be happy to come back.

The bathroom had a light musty smell from the sink and the water from the shower had very little pressure.

Thanks to Love Song for my wonderful stay. It is very cozy and nice hotel with with smiling and caring staff.

- The Hotel is located quite well, in the back of a main road. Grab will charge you extra bc of the long driveway, if you want to be dropped at the entrance. The bed was big and comfortable. 1 member of the staff was nice and helpful (young balines woman that actually don’t speak English)

- very passiv aggressiv owner texting several times asking when i will arrive and make me feel like arriving after 9pm is uncomfortable for them. - Also not available 24/7 and the contact given that should be available after 9pm is not texting back either. Asked for cutlery never got a response. Also getting text back like: Our stuff should have told you- they did not and even if i don’t have to remember everything this is not my job as a guest. - You only get 1 bottle of water a day. I started one in the morning and it was not topped of with an additional one. Access to water (for example a water dispenser) should be a standard. - The room is extremely noisy as several times commented by other people here already. You can hear every neighbor no matter what they do. - even if the room is newly renovated, the bathroom is not, very old and dirty shower installation.

It wasn’t quite what I expected and I moved out after two nights.

The room was so spacious and the decor was beautiful. The AC and wifi was really good, the room/bathroom was very clean and the bed was really comfy. Being slightly off the main road it was also quiet and very chill. There were also lots of sunbeds so we never had a problem getting one and the pool was clean. The swim up bar was cool too!

The hotel has indeed a special charme. It is cosy, it is nice, private, it has a few highlights, which make it individual and comfy. It is slightly aside from one of the hectic and loud main streets of Canguu allowing to relax during the afternoon at the pool (if you are willing to listen to 90s rap all day though).

There are too many details that left us with a bitter aftertaste. It began already with the automatic mail we received immediately after booking, demanding to send them the time of arrival (“you must message before check in as it essential to organise…”). In response we received a pdf booklet, with the six house rules like „to not jump from the roof into the pool“ or „to not ask the staff for special requests as it disturbes their routines, without getting what was asked for“. Call me sensitive, but the tone expressed the owner‘s (Luke) unwelcoming attitude. Check-in was a mess. We asked for early check-in. Didn‘t hear back. The hotel has no reception (only a pool bar operated in the afternoon), so I accidentially walked into one of the rooms because it was the closest looking thing to a reception. Our room was actually ready shortly after 10 in the morning, but we weren‘t let in before 1:30 pm. In the room a lot was missing: no hair dryer (we got one later), no hand towels, neither toilet brush nor a typical bidè hose, there was only one usable poweroutlet, no coffee availiable at the bar, oh… and NO DOOR TO THE BATHROOM. So I asked Luke if this was the case for all of the rooms, which prompted him to call me and give me a lecture in contemporary interior design and to claim that leaving the bathroom doors away was the latest trend and I could trust him on that, as he designed everything himself. He also did not sound accommodating at all when we asked if we could terminate the booking early. I give him credit for having offered us the only room with a separate bathroom the next day. By the way, that was the aforementioned room I mixed up the reception earlier and it was in other regards no improvement at all. In the end my newly wed wife and I arranged ourselves with the situation, which was especially romantic when one of us got a bad case of “Bali belly”. And to be clear: the hotel has no public bathroom either.

the staff and owner were extremely helpful and accommodating. great pool area with swim up bar and tasty, cheap cocktails! the pool chairs are super comfortable and the rooms were excellent and also very comfortable.

location is unbeatable, quiet little gang off the main road but can walk to anywhere in Canggu shower had good pressure and was actually hot. the staff were all very friendly

the only thing was it wasn’t very soundproofed so I could hear the couple next door come home drunk and go at it for way too long. funny the next day not funny at 3am
