I visited Provincetown and stayed in this property in June 2022 with a group of friends all in our 30s and 40s. While the property itself was clean and well-maintained, I would caution others from staying here if they are seeking privacy during their stay. Though the landlord did not live on the premises, he and his partner were on site most days keeping an eye on the property and doing work on the property while we were there. At one point, while I was utilizing the outdoor shower (since the other shower was in use), one of the landlords was spraying rabbit deterrent in such close proximity to where the shower was that it splashed onto my feet. Two of the bedrooms also share the same entrance (which was not entirely clear from the listing). I had requested a video walkthrough of the site prior to my arrival to the site and the landlord declined to provide that (despite the thousands we had paid to stay there for the week). In addition, there was only one TV in the living room and it was so old that it did not have an HDMI port to connect any streaming devices. Also they had made a low-quality fold-out bed available in the living room, and despite typical use of the product, the landlord claimed it was damaged after our stay and charged an excess fees on top of what is already an overpriced listing. For the money, you might as well stay somewhere else as you will get better quality, more modern amenities with a lot more privacy.

This was a great place in Ptown close to Commercial Street in a quiet neighborhood. The house was quaint and spacious for six people and we thoroughly enjoyed the living, kitchen and dining area. Jim was very responsive and answered any questions we had almost immediately. As mentioned by others, the two bedrooms are connected and you must go through one to get to the other and these rooms are on the smaller side. This was not an issue for us, however. The house was also adorned with a lot of what seemed like delicate vases and plates, so I would just be extra careful if you have kids or if one of you is clumsy! We would stay here again.

Super charming fully furnished house. Lots of parking in a town where parking is hard. Less than 10 minute walk to commercial street. Would absolutely stay here again.

Jim’s place is perfect for a long weekend getaway. There’s so much within a short walk down on Commerce Street. The rooms and beds are comfy, and pretty much most of what you need to enjoy yourself is in the house. The patio is great for morning coffee, and the bathrooms are well equipped. Keep in mind, it’s an over 100 year old home, but it’s been kept up and is emblematic of the Cape Cod experience. We loved our stay and will come back.

This was Such a comfortable spacious home to vacation in, with a lovely garden and patio . Will rent this place again.

The owner is exceptionally nice, accommodating, and communicative. Loved the outdoor shower and the beautiful landscaping. Inside bathroom is beautifully updated. Window AC units keep the entirety of the house cook. Ample parking and within walking distance od Commercial street. Well stocked kitchen. Washer/dryer are accessible and the kitchen has a dishwasher and wash liquid. Comfortable couch in living room. Great dining table area and outdoor dining area with grill. Good for family meals and games. Things we didn’t know and wish we had: 1) There are people living in an apartment on the second floor of the house. We were unaware, and it startled us when they came and went through the yard we were using. 2) One of the 3 bedrooms can only be accessed by walking through another of the bedrooms. 3) We had to strip and wash/dry one of the bed’s sheets because there were crumbs and hair all over the sheet. 4) Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. 5) The interior decor is…eclectic. The parlor contains many antique photos of people that may be somewhat creepy to those who are sensitive to that. There are many vases and large model ships on shelves. This may not be a great place for young kids. Overall, the issues were minor and the benefits were great. We would book again!

Jim's property was one of three that we rented for a week in July. The adults that stayed there said that the home was great, location was excellent for our purpose. There was lots of parking. We also had one guest with a "my pod" camper and Jim was okay with allowing us to park that in his ample parking. A note for future renters, bedroom number two and bedroom number three are connected and you need to pass through one to get to the other. This did not affect our group get together but it could for a different group. Overall, great experience, very easy to communicate with the homeowner.

We were lucky to use the outdoor shower and outdoor dining table every day! Finally, the large and gorgeous garden is perfect, just far enough away from the bustle of town, but with just a five minute walk, you are on Commercial Street with access to everything Provincetown has to offer!

The house was very comfortable and conveniently located (to grocery, fish market, restaurants). We enjoyed the patio, gardens and outdoor shower and it was an easy bike ride to beaches and art galleries.

This property was just beautiful! Everything was so well cared for and organized extremely well. This is a home not just a house and we felt very comfortable there. The outside is beautiful, too!

We rented this sweet home during Women’s Week. It’s conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood in the West End, an easy walk to Liz’s Cafe, Relish, Joe’s Coffee, T dance as well as Mac’s and Stop & Shop. There is little traffic on the street, mostly local folks walking their dogs. This is an antique house, updated, while reverentially retaining original elements such as the painted wide plank floors. Comfortable, clean and sunny, but not fussy. There’s plenty of room to spread out, with two dining tables and a large living room. The outdoor shower catches the morning sun. I used it every day during my October stay. The yard is enormous by Ptown standards. Note that the third bedroom is accessed only through the second bedroom. Jim, the owner was friendly and hospitable, easy to deal with. I look forward to my next stay!

This was a nice spot for our group of friends in Provincetown for a week's stay. Great outdoor spaces and a helpful, communicative host.

We had plenty of room for six adults and a baby. Clean, cozy, air conditioning, plenty of parking, and excellent outdoor space. Easy walk to town and west end beaches! Jim made everything super easy! We had a perfect week!

The place was much bigger than we thought and had more than enough room to accommodate the four people in our group. The outdoor shower is DIVINE. Definitely a highlight of our stay. Jim provided beach towels which was a great amenity. Note for future travelers that the property has a second unit right above it rented to long term tenants, so you can hear some footsteps and they have to walk through your patio to get to their doorway, but overall not bothered at all. Also, to access one of the bedrooms, you have to walk through another bedroom. It was fine for our group, but if you need total privacy for bedrooms, then it’s a good thing to know.
