We were greeted with a pleasant staff on our check-in. We checked in at night, around 6:30PM I believe. The place was tidy when we got there, but I instantly noticed an odor; kind of a body odor smell as I opened the door, but it went away on day 2. I appreciate how they had ice trays, beach chairs, and a cooler available for use. They have coffee, toiletries, and a washer/dryer unit with some laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The vibe is very Hawaii too, which my fiancé and I loved. The area is so peaceful and quiet. By day 3, we noticed a lot of flies coming from the bathroom. We did not use the bathroom trash bin as it was underneat the sink the whole time. We also did not keep anything perishable in the rental. From night 3 to night 5 and the morning we left, we were trying to kill flies because there were a lot of them. We noticed they came from the tiny holes of the bathroom light. We reported it to the receptionist. She said the maggots might have already been there before we came. I wouldve given 5 stars for everything if not for those flies. A few is okay, but it was around 30-40 flies that we killed.

The property was very clean and well stocked with dishes, wine glasses and even a cooler to take to the beach and beach chairs. Loved the large windows and 2 patios. No a/c but didn’t need it with the breezes coming thru the unit. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Not many restaurants in Princeville but the resort had a wood fired pizza truck come a few times during the week. A resort close by had other food trucks on site.

Reception was kind and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Had beach chairs, ice chests, drip coffee maker with starter local ground coffee pack, beach towels, tennis and pickle ball courts with borrow pickle ball paddles and balls, gym, free filtered water refills and more. So we and friends tried pickle ball for the first time learning from the web and had a great time. Location made it easy to go to the best beaches with stores and great eateries all easily within range. We'll be back.

Great location. Love the water feature at the pool. The Cliffs has bicycles, tennis/pickle ball equipment, and beach toys available to check out. Communal bbqs. The mattress on the pullout couch needs to be replaced (springs press into your back). Other than the at, all was good. Very prompt and communicative management company.

We really enjoyed staying at The Cliffs. The condo was great for my wife and I. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I enjoyed both of the balconies. Only hiccup was the multiple remotes for the TVs which made it difficult to find programming during the rainy times.

The condo is nice, clean and spacious. The property have lots of nice amenities and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. My issue with this place was the lack of restaurants nearby and there isn't a close beach. The immediate area around the Cliffs area is lovely though, but on our next trip to Kauai, we'll be staying elsewhere.

Our 11 day stay in July in Princeville was great. The condo was clean and fresh and had everything we possibly could have needed. I loved that, because it was a second floor end unit, the lanai outside the kitchen/living room was so open and we got a nice breeze all the time and also a bit of morning sun and a bit of sunset also! We spent most of our time out there when we were home. The pool & hot tub options were nice and there were lots of other things that we didn't take advantage of because we were busy visiting family. I'd love to stay there again!!!

The bed was so comfortable and I slept so good every night! I was a little disappointed with the desk staff of the Cliffs, I needed another Tide laundry soap and the lady gave me a hard time about getting it that’s my only complaint! I would definitely stay at The Cliffs again.

As usual we enjoyed the "cliffs". The only thing we were looking forward to that did not take place was some evening activities at the clubhouse that we enjoyed very much. On 9/29 we called the front desk to report a bunch of people and screaming kids hanging around the lawn at Building 3…..front desk said they would “send some one over”…. and never did. These people looked like they weren’t even staying at the complex.
But…..the worst…on 9/30 in the afternoon a girl in a dark gray Ford F150 Pick up pulled up with 5 kids and let the go wild in the pool. They were really loud, climbing all over the rocks, screaming etc. Then they went to the playground with the same behavior. Then they got back in the pick up and drove away. These kids were not guests, and whoever let them in ought to be fired. Many of us were angry at the pool over it and paid good money to stay there.

The Cliffs was the first location for our stay in Kauai and we absolutely loved it! Everything from booking the unit to check out was seamless. The front desk were so kind and welcoming, and the amenities were our favorite part (especially the gym). The room itself was so spacious for me and my husband and it was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. We were a 2 minute walk away from the view of the ocean and it was so nice to be able to bring our coffee, walk during sunrise and just sit on the lawn chairs to look out at the sea. What won me over was the excellent communication with the property managers. They were all so kind and always responded to our emails so quickly if we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely be keeping this place on our list of places to stay when we come back to Kauai!
