The property was spacious and comfortable.
Easy for a family or group to fit comfortable.
Second bathroom and bedroom a bonus. Overall facilities are good.
It was difficult to pick up the keys at a particular time from the Port Stephens office. We were provided with one key only which made it difficult for the lights, access to the gym facilities etc.
The reception customer service attendants at the Oaks were not helpful, or friendly. It was disappointing. The properly overall is good and comfortable however, requires some TLC, doors are difficult to move, no additional items eg: toilet paper.

Split rooms worked well for our group. Pool and cafe great
Need more glasses , broom or stick vacuum and dishcloth for washing dishes. More soap in the bathroom would be good

Shouldn't be titled "2 bedroom apartment" if it's a one bedroom with an adjoining door to a separate apartment. Very misleading.
Apartment was dirty, smelled, oldddddd tv and appliances, fridge didn't work.
Quilt had no cover
Guy who handed over the keys was rude.
Don't recommend it.

Location and pool.
Apartment was very dirty. Definitely needs a revamp. Lucky we didn’t need to use the kitchen but wouldn’t have been able to it smells of grease.

apartment could probably be do with a facelift/ paint job. the property itself looks well maintained but could also
possibly do with a paint job.
cups were all stained and had to spend time soaking in soapy boiling water to feel happy drinking out of. also although apartment looked clean, kitchen cupboards were a little grimy to touch. kitchen floor felt sticky to walk on. for the price charged you think they could afford to buy some new cups etc.

The glasses had lipstick stains, dried orange juice pulp on the. We had to wash cups and glasses before using them. Our original key did not work to allow us to enter through the gate, we had to drive back to nelson's Bay to pick up another key.

I have a serious complaint and need to escalate this to management.
I phoned and spoke to a consultant in a Newcastle office to advise I would be arriving late, she gave me the details on how to collect the key.
We arrived at your Winning office around 11pm last night and retrieved the key which had my name on it and the number ‘98’
When we got to the hotel we were driving around for quite some time looking for apartment 98 we then went to reception only to be told we don’t have a appartment 98, he found my booking and confirmed it was 244.
Then the most serious part of my complaint unfolded.
Apart from being dirty and sub standard, this room was advertised as a two bedroom apartment number 244. When we arrived here last night after being given incorrect information on the key number we find that this is actually two separate appartments 244a and 244b, now my family is separated. This is not an acceptable situation for us and is not what is advertised. We are absolutely dissatisfied and disgusted at the run down condition as well. Please have someone contact me urgently to discuss what can be done for us. This is a lot of money for us and not the holidays we were so looking forward and has absolutely ruined our getaway.

Air con was broken
Dishwasher didn’t work well.
Light in walk in was broken.
Tv was all blurry, couldn’t even use the romote as didn’t work.
Got 1 each towel for 5 nights
The reception people wouldn’t help us because it was privately owned
Properties that were privately owned were allowed dogs. Next door to us.
One packet for everything for 5 nights.
Had to go buy toilet paper and dishwasher liquid, garbage bags as not enough for 5 nights.
I could keep going.
I would not recommend people to go through this at all.

We only liked the location.
The apartment was very dirty with cobwebs in many places. There were no basic toiletries provided such as shower gel or soap. The communication with the owner was difficult as most of the time no one was available to answer the phone. No dedicated parking was available for our specific apartment, making it difficult to park as anyone could take any spots.

Loved the pool wrapped around the hotel, it was amazing. There’s lots of things to do within the hotel - gym, tennis, restaurant. It was all lovely and pleasant.
The one lady at Winning Holidays was not very helpful. She was quite grumpy at the time of key collection and drop off. The other staff were lovely. The hotel was good but there is a couple of things they can accomodate with more.
- there’s not enough utensils and kitchen appliances for the number of people able to stay
- the apartment could do with a good dust clean and a good scrub of all the appliances (oven particularly)
- couple of cupboards were broken, the place could do with a bit of a service
- the water in the bathroom and kitchen of the adjoining room does not have a good water flow
Otherwise it is worth the money.

Apartment was not clean
Nothing was provided: not even soap or rubbish bags or detergents, literally nothing.
No WiFi
Kitchen tap was loose and couldn't be used and kettle was very dirty and it was reported on first day but all they did is report it to the owner. Things like that should be fixed same day.

Pool
Partying until midnight- then screams children in the pool from 7.30 onwards. Bogans everywhere drinking in the pool. Water problem in the bathroom which seemed to be seeping into the bedroom carpet wasn’t acknowledge - stunk. Kitchen tap broken.doona wet in the washing machine - not on the bed! Entry swipe wouldn’t work - wow really not worth the $$$
