We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home - it was a great location for visiting Maine - loved the shopping and restaurants in Camden and Rockland, and day trips to Acadia National Park and Monhegan Island were highlights of our vacation. Plenty of room for 8 adults and one infant. The property is very expansive and well situated. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen and dining area were easily able to accommodate our large group. Would recommend for large groups and definitely consider going back again!

This property was perfect for our family. The location was close to everything and so peaceful at the end of busy days. The home was very nice and the grounds were beautiful! We all agreed we would stay again. Would love to know any history of the house. The art work was appreciated.

We were in Maine for a family reunion and found this property to be a wonderful place for a portion of our family to stay. We really enjoyed our time!

The property is beautiful and kept up well. The kitchen is SO well stocked! It is not baby proofed but if you come prepared it’s easy to make it work. Only two things I would say to improve the stay 1) bring rubber soled slippers for inside. The stairs are slippery without shoes ( which the owner requests you not wear) 2) it would be helpful to include directions for the dishwasher. We eventually figured it out but the buttons are no longer readable and we spent two or three days working on figuring it out. These two minor things did not impact the enjoyment of our stay. It was great!

Lovely spacious home with a wonderful gourmet kitchen on a beautiful, private property. We had five adults and one two year old. Everyone was comfortable and had a great time in spite of rain every day. It’s a short 10-15 minute drive to the 3 lovely towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden.

This lovely comfortable home had comfortable and cozy spots, both inside and out, for our a family to hang out together. The kitchen was very well stocked with needed kitchenware and utensils for the times we decided to cook instead of eating out. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

Beautiful, art-filled home
This home is even better, and bigger, than the photos convey. Six of us stayed here for a family get together and all of us had comfortable rooms, access to well appointed bathrooms (including a luxurious master bath) and more than enough room to spread out and be comfortable indoors and out as well as gather for big meals. The chef's kitchen is huge and the most well stocked one I've seen in a rental, and the home is filled with amazing art and books. The location is great--both for having quiet and privacy, as well as access to the cove, and for getting to Camden, Rockport, Rockland and beyond. Lots of great hiking nearby. Also glad we took the owners' recommendation and did a day trip to Monhegan Island which was a highlight for us. My whole family, who can be picky, loved the place. Would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful Farmhouse
Beautiful property for a large party. My family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 16 to 8 adored the open spaces. Sitting on 20 acres there was plenty of space for wiffle ball games and throwing the football or frisbee. The house itself afforded everyone their own bedroom and each of the 4 bathrooms had a shower. The porch was incredible and I spent several hours sitting outside enjoying the view with glimpses of the cove beyond the trees. The breeze cooled the house and made it very comfortable day and night. It was in a fantastic location that allowed for trips up and down the coast.

Well appointed home, renovated baths and the best kitchen we've ever had in a rental house. Grounds are amazing and the location is great, short drive to Camden and Rockland. Alan immediately took care of a few issues we had, we really enjoyed are stay.

Wonderful stay!
We, both the kids and the adults, had a great time staying at this amazing house. The location was awesome...especially the access to the beautiful beach and Alan was a super helpful and responsive host. We hope to be back next year!

Perfect Maine vacation for all ages
Beautiful property with a lovely antique farmhouse which has been updated with all of the updated amenities a guest could wish for, including a well-stocked kitchen. Didn’t really need to use the AC units since we were able to open all of the windows for the cool ocean breezes. The proximity to the cove was especially appreciated as teens, kids and adults could come and go from the cove on their own timeline. Calm and temperate waters (by New England standards) made for a perfect paddle boarding and kayaking spot. And super private, as well!

Idyllic Maine Retreat
An idyllic Maine retreat with plenty of space for everyone to find their own special nook to relax, read, and yes...even get a little necessary work done. Inspiring views from everywhere! The meadow walking paths were an unexpected treat and filled with butterflies. The location made it easy to run out for delicious locally grown and crafted food. Do not miss Off The Farm, Beth's Farm Market, Bleecker & Greer Main Street Meats or McLoon's Lobster Shack! The kitchen was a well stocked and a joy to cook in. It's an easy day trip to Acadia National Park. The owner was easy to work with and had wonderful recommendations for activities, dining, etc. We sincerely hope to return again and again. Thank you for sharing this magnificent property!

Porch living in Maine
Our family truly enjoyed this special place! There was plenty of space indoor and out. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the porch. Family dinners, game nights and morning walks on clam cove made for a memorable week in a beautiful place.

Fabulous house
The house was stunning and beautifully appointed. The coast was a short walk away and the grounds were lovely. The house is near the famed Samoset resort and one can easily visit Rockland, Rockport Harbor, and Camden. I would highly recommend and my whole family would like to return. The owner was kind and easy to communicate with.

Great Spot
This is a great property for a family get together. Very well equipped and private. The beach is perfect for little ones and since it is on a cove the water is warm by Maine standards. We did rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards at a local retailer and the water here is ideal for both. The tide does go out quite far, so you need to be mindful of that.

A Mid-Coast Gem
Our family could not be more pleased with this mid-coast getaway. Every detail is considered on this property: from soapstone carvings to a bumping sound-system for the living room; the kitchen is capable of supporting any culinary venture too. We could not be more pleased!

Good place for a large family gathering
The house has several living spaces for people to be together or enjoy the artwork in solitude. An older house with character to which many tasteful updates have been made. The large kitchen is a joy to work in. As with any old house it has its quirks.

Aesthetically beautiful.
We had a wonderful stay at the home. The house was beautifully renovated with high end appliances, gadgets, flatware , silverware and glassware. The home was filled with beautiful Art work and interesting personal collectables trroughout. We especially enjoyed walking down to the beach at low tide, walk out into the water (It was remarkably warm) and dig for clams to make a homemade chowder. We were minutes from Rockport and Camden and fine dining were only minutes away. Hiking, sailing and local fairs were in all directions. It was a very relaxing stay the entire week. Note: the corner of the porch facing the front of the house enjoyed the best breezes for al fresco dining!

Amazing and Private Vacation Home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and charming home. It’s location allowed for us to make daily road trips to different towns on the coast for shopping, sight seeing, etc. The home is clean and comfortable. There is almost everything you need in the modern kitchen. Each room in the house is unique. We enjoyed the spectacular sunrises each morning, and walked daily to the beach to savor the peaceful and serene surroundings. We saw deer on the property almost every day. Especially enjoyed spending time on the porch and relaxing with our friends. We hope to return next year for another perfect vacation!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful Rockport retreat. The house has been meticulously renovated and the owners have provided everything you need to enjoy a great stay. We had bad weather the week we were there but because the house has a beautiful wrap around porch and plenty of room for all we enjoyed our time in Rockport. The owners were so responsive to any questions I had and so helpful. Highly recommend this property!

The house is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice!
We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this beautiful house. The bedrooms were spacious and all nicely decorated. The en suite in the master bedroom is incredible - the bath is huge and the shower is great. The kitchen is big and has almost everything you need, Every room in the house was clean for our arrival. We enjoyed eating most of our meals outside on one of the many tables on the deck and our children enjoyed riding their bikes around the driveway. We spent lots of time on the beach by the house and enjoyed having easy access. The location of the house is great - 5 mins to Rockland and 15 mins to Camden. We all had a really wonderful time at this house and can't wait to go back!
