Very comfortable accommodations. This is a large 2 level home (most bedrooms and living space upstairs), which easily housed our family of 6, including 2 kids. Very clean and centrally located.

Because the house is shut during rental times it was very stuffy and hot when we arrived. I think it would be great if the cleaning crew could leave windows open and a few fans (each room had at least 1) running. It took at least an hour for the house to be comfortable after we arrived.

Our flight into Hilo was early so I had requested to drop off our bags. I was unable to because of housekeeping which was quite inconvenient. We had to leave our perishables in the car all day in the hot sun. It's such a large home that taking up a corner would not have such an impact on cleaning. For that reason, I expressed my dismay when I reached under the bed for my slippers and found it to be unkept. Then there's was an issue with the smoke alarm and shower head falling off. However, that could have happened to anyone.

Very spacious well appointed house. Nice to get out of hotel rooms for a while.

Not a particukarly interesting part of town but with a car it didn't matter.
