Wooli is such a beautiful place. The cottage had everything we needed and its great how it backs right onto the Sea. I love how our dogs can come and enjoy the place too.

Great location and the property was clean. The bedrooms did have a wet smell/damp smell however. We did have an issue with the power going off to the fridge and it was discovered when cleaning up and putting things back in the pantry that behind the toaster was the plug for the fridge which had become unplugged. A note to advise the fridge plug is coming through the wall into the pantry would be handy as it is more commonly behind the fridge. We tried to contact the management company on Saturday and was put on hold advising they were assisting other customers only to be then transferred to another message advising the office hours which did mention that Saturday's they were open until 2pm (I called at 13:15) and that their office was now closed. This was frustrating. Apart from these minor issues it was a great little spot.

Great old school beach shack just a stone's throw from the beach. Comfortable house for kicking back in and a secure yard for the pooch. Our only (slight) negative was that we found the main bed a bit soft/ springy for our liking but we are used to quite a firm bed.
Awesome place to unwind and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. We would happily stay again. Thanks for letting us stay at Beaches at Wooli!

5 nights for the two of us. We had great weather. The house was fine, although I imagine it would be hot on hot days/nights. It would help it they provided some staples, like salt and pepper,

Photos of the backyard are old as there is now a fully self contained dwelling in the backyard not the lovely gardens and decks that are on the website

It was amazing to be able to walk over the sand dunes at your back door and be on the beach. Lying in bed listening to the waves at night .

I liked this house very much especially the verandahs, the colour scheme, the plants in front and back, the secure backyard for a dog and the walk in wardrobe and the pantry cupboard. The dune was very steep, but there is easier access to the beach not far away. I enjoyed eating on the verandahs. I was quite disappointed that the photos did not show the current bed situation in the second room. Fortunately I had a step stool to check the dryer, otherwise I would have had to stand on a chair which could be dangerous. The power points played up on the first day, but after that okay. The shelf next to the clothes dryer was quite dusty, and the drawer under the oven was dirty. I would have greatly appreciated a power point in the bathroom for a night light. The toilet is very low, but I got used to it. It must be difficult for tall people. But overall I was happy in this house.

Great disappointment, arrived to find the property had not been cleaned. Spent our first day cleaning, musty, mouldy and not able to use bedrooms or wardrobes. Perhaps, very sadly this will be our last Wooli holiday. Response from Real Estate managing the rental was dismal. No care and total lack o concern.

Great location backing straight onto the beach and the river a streets walk away. So peaceful sitting out on the daybed reading and relaxing while listening to the waves crashing on the beach. The locals are pretty friendly having spent a few good nights at the local tavern. Explored around the area on the few days of sun we got. Great early morning walks to each end of the beach. Got to get my kayak in the river . Unfortunately we were there for the second round of flooding. So sad for such a beautiful part of the country. We will definitely be back to the area.

Great location backing straight onto the beach and the river a streets walk away. So peaceful sitting out on the daybed reading and relaxing while listening to the waves crashing on the beach. The locals are pretty friendly having spent a few good nights at the local tavern. Explored around the area on the few days of sun we got. Great early morning walks to each end of the beach. Got to get my kayak in the river . Unfortunately we were there for the second round of flooding. So sad for such a beautiful part of the country. We will definitely be back to the area.

Had a wonderful relaxed stay in this little house. Loved the outdoor covered area..though was very disappointed with the backyard as I was looking forward to sitting out there amongst the trees on the small deck which was shown in the online booking but was definitely not there

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Short walk to the bowling club, beach, boat hire and river. The house is tucked in behind the foredune / vegetation which was fortunate because it was blowing a gale while we were there. The room with the bunks has a ceiling fan very close to the top bunk which would be bit of a safety issue if someone slept in the top bunk. Great access to the beach. The garage is a drive through so there is plenty of space for trailers or boats if required. We loved how the back verandah was fly screened to protect from the insects. The bed mattresses need replacing but are tolerable for a night or two. Kitchen, bathroom and toilet were very clean. Fantastic shower. Pity you have to go through the bathroom to get to the toilet but it is what it is. Yard is perfect for a small dog. Despite the small issues we really liked the house and would stay again.

property was excellent but beach access was not as it looked in photos. it was like mountain climbing to get on the beach and i had recently had a knee replacement so could not do it also there were steps to the verandah with no safety rail

The property could do with some updating as the beds are well worn and don’t offer the best in terms of comfort. Also being so close to the beach we did have to contend with a fair number of cockroaches so a pesticide spray is probably needed.None of the above deterred from a great holiday and I would still highly recommend the location.

My partner and I spent a quiet Christmas in Wooli. The property was exactly what we were looking for as it is right in the beach.
Overall the stay was great. The property could do with some updating as the beds are well worn and don’t offer the best in terms of comfort. Also being so close to the beach we did have to contend with a fair number of cockroaches so a pesticide spray is probably needed.
None of the above deterred from a great holiday and I would still highly recommend the location.

It was nice to be able to take our dog although the back yard was not totally dog proofed as she could easily jump the fence to the neighbours yard and she is only a little dog.
