The location was great! Pleasant old home; could use )some work in a couple of places (downstairs shower, doorway to deck). It was quiet, in spite of being on shore road with a lot of traffic. We enjoyed walks to Perkins Cove & the Marginal Way. Matthew was easy to work with & very accomodating. Thanks.

We had an excellent stay at Matt's place which is ideslly located on Shore Road; close to both the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove and the restaurants, yet very quiet at night. The house was spacious for our family of four adults. The cable tv with Netflix was excellent , the beds very comfortable (so important) and had everything we needed for our one week stay. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well. We brought our badminton rackets and enjoyed playing on the large lawn. Ogunquit itself is lovely, but also well situated for visiting Boston, Portsmouth, Kittery, (outlets), Portland and Freeport. We loved the ice cream at The Scoop Deck and our al fresco dining at Frisnbee's Wharf at Pepperell Cove (Kittery Point). Thanks for sharing your home Matt, we hope to be back soon!

The house was well suited for a family of three and family of four. The location of the house worked out. It took us about a 20 min walk (with children) to the beach. You will get plenty of exercise! Perkins cove was a shorter walk. The beach chairs, toys, etc that were made available were great to have! I would recommend this place and would be happy to rent again.

We had a wonderful week! The house is spacious and very well situated, we did everything by foot. We really enjoyed this family vacation !!!!!

We rented this property to accommodate two sets of parents, my three children, my girlfriend and myself. Everybody had their own room and the three single beds at the end of the hall works perfectly for the kids. There is a very large dining space and enough and chairs for us all to sit around each night (9 of us) and have a great dinner. Except of course for the nights that we chose to walk down to Perkins Cove and eat at some of the fantastic restaurants there. We had a big breakfast every morning and then cooked up lunches to take to the beach. All the extra beach chairs , beach cart and sand toys etc. all came in super handy when walking down to the main beach. What very little issues we had during our stay, the property owner was extremely quick to respond to handle anything that came up. If you have a large group of people this is absolutely the best place to stay in town!

The deck was perfect for us at it was totally enclosed only leading to the house so our toddler couldn't escape. The owner is very responsive and great to deal with. All in all we had a great time!

Great location, right on shore rd

Matt (owner) and Joan (onsite caretaker) were very responsive and accommodating. We stayed here for two weeks. The location of this classic New England house was our favorite feature - we could walk to the beach and to a variety of shops and restaurants in town with ease (which is important as traffic/parking can be a pain during the busy season). The house itself worked well for our mixed age family group (infant to senior citizen and everything in between). The house had a good assortment of beach chairs, sand toys, croquet sets, and baby gear. The kids were able to run around and play in the big side yard, and there was enough space for everyone to find a quiet nook when the big group was too much.

We had a great time at this rental property. The house has a nice layout and was not far from the beach, Perkins Cove or the marginal way. The kitchen is well equipped so it was easy to make meals at the house if you don't want to eat out. It is a very comfortable home and although it is very basic, it is a great place to stay! We would definitely return.

This house was perfect for our family. There were 10 of us ranging in age from 2 to 55 and there was plenty of space inside and out for all of us. It's walking distance to Perkins Cove, the Marginal Way and the beach. It has everything you could need including boogie boards, strollers, beach stroller and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. We would definetely stay there again.

This was our 5th year renting from Matt and we love the place and Ogunquit. We come with another couple, and the house has everything we need for an enjoyable week. Nothing like good friends, a great place, lobster, great theater and the ocean. Looking forward to 2015. Gene

We were instantly pleased when we arrived at Matt's home. We were five adults, a 3 year old and an infant. We appreciated the sizes of the rooms, which are larger than they appear in the pictures, and the child-friendly amenities, including the crib and the double stroller (and beach wagon). The house had a welcoming ambience featuring comfortable furnishings, antique-like furniture in the bedrooms, a modern kitchen and entertainment equipment (including Wi-Fi). We enjoyed the deck and BBQ. It was an easy walk to everything Ogunquit and Perkins Cove have to offer. For those approaching the area from the south, we avoided Ogunquit traffic by taking Pine Hill Road off of Route 1 to Shore Road. Joan and family (Montreal)

I cannot say enough about this wonderful house! This is the first time we have rented a home in the 25 years my family has been coming to Ogunquit and I have to say it was well worth it! Matt's house is everything you need in a vacation home, you want for nothing while you are here, the home has it all! Another plus is the size of the house, we had 9 people staying there and everyone felt like there was plenty of room. Also, the house was very clean and comfortable. The kids loved playing on the yard at night after the beach, and they had plenty of space to do so! I look forward to renting this house for many years to come....

This was a cozy, comfortable beach house for our family. We are many...6 adults, 4 children and a baby. The house is larger than it appears in the picture. It's nicely decorated, clean and comfy. I never had to tell my grandchildren not to touch something...that kind of comfortable... which is what we look for when we go away. It was a great place to come home to after a day at the beach. It is a little walk to the beach. We found it best to go early in the car and set up everything. Then we walked "the crew" down. Same on the return trip. I wish the beach would issue weekly passes. The Marginal Way was just around the corner or over the hill depending on where you got onto it. I would highly recommend Matt's house. The location is perfect. Our family had a wonderful time and will return!

spent a great week at ogunquit is this perfect location on shore road between perkins cove and center of town.there were 5 adults and we had plenty of room-living room and dining area is huge and a great private deck with grill.their is a good size side yard for games or just people watching-i definitely recommend this spot.you can also just park your car and forget about because of the location.

My biggest concern when we rented the house was that it would not be big enough for 4 adults and 2 children. I should never have worried. What with the family room, living room and deck outside, there was plenty of room for everyone. It's a very short walk to Perkins Cove, with a slightly longer walk to the beach. As there are always trolleys going through the town, it makes it very easy to get back from the beach taking a trolley. I loved the house and can easily recommend it to other people. My only word of advice is that the ocean is extremely cold and a wetsuit would make it more pallatable for swimming.

We have been renting here since Matt went into the rental business. Our family has a wonderful time at the home and exploring the area-Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and all its little beaches and views of the ocean, wonderful restaurants, and Ogunquit itself. All are within walking distance. We love this home with all its nooks and crannies. I could go on and on. You will not be disappointed and the family memories will long be remembered.
