We enjoyed a wonderful week in July 2022. The cottage is very cute and updated. We loved having the trampoline raft and the canoe and kayaks to explore the lake. We had a few generations with us and everyone was comfortable. The front porch was a great place to enjoy coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evenings. I almost regret leaving a good review because I don't want it to get too popular! Lake Hadlock is close to all the Lake George action without all the Lake George hassle. Would love to stay again!

We loved our stay at Hemlock house! The house is very clean and comfortable. Cathy, the property manager is very supportive and responsive. Hadlock lake is beautiful and clean. The dock at the house is perfect for boating, jumping/swimming, and fishing. It was just right for our family of four.

The pictures are nice but don’t do the house justice, it’s great. The location is amazing, right on Lake Hadlock. Peaceful but short drive to lake George. Catherine was very gracious. One of our best vacations, and we travel quite a bit!

If you are looking for nice well kept house right on a clean lake with boating, fishing, and swimming then look no further. A short ride to Lake George and Saratoga BUT a total escape in the backyard with dock and full lake access. This is true lake front living. My wife and I as well as our 2 boys age 13 and 16 and our Chocolate Lab has the best time. Cathy greeted us and left the place in great condition. We were pleasantly surprised to find both the kitchen and bathroom completely renovated. We mostly used the full sized gas grill but the new full kitchen was a bonus. There is also central air which worked perfect. We liked being in a nice quiet area but again close to many area attractions like restaurants, mini golf, ice cream, we even went Dave Matthews in Saratoga at SPAT Thanks Cathy for hosting us at your place. We will be back Charlie, Julie, Kyle, Collin, and Chewie

Nice house with easy water access. Fishing is great. Caught a 5 lb largemouth bass! Will definitely be back! The owner is a sweetheart as well!

This ADK house had everything we needed for an end of summer retreat with family. Hadlock Pond is quiet and serene and we enjoyed kayaking, playing on the water trampoline, and swimming. The house had everything we needed: comfortable beds, plenty of dishes and cooking utensils for meals, a grill for cookouts, an awesome dock with lounge chairs and access to floats, life jackets, kayaks, a canoe and even a row boat. The house had a large screened in porch for morning coffee or just relaxing, as well as plenty of amenities like excellent wireless, air conditioning (a rarity in ADK!), smart TVs, washer/dryer (just to name a few). The location in Fort Ann was just secluded enough to feel like you were getting away from it all, but still close to enough to Queensbury to be convenient for grocery shopping or even a day excurison to Six Flags Great Escape. Overall, a great house for a small group (4 to 6 people). We plan to return, so thanks to Catherine for such a wonderul stay.

The Hemlock House was a great place for us to get away as a family. Being right on the water was a big plus for us. Our two teens spent a lot of time in the water and it was great to be able to return from a long hike and jump in the pond! The house was well equipped and comfortable and the listing was very accurate. We had originally planned for five of us, but ended up with four, which turned out to be good. While it can sleep six, we felt like that would have probably been a little crowded. Overall a great place to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks!

The family always has a great time here. The owner Catherine is great, fishing is great and you are close to Lake George. It's peaceful and the Lake is awesome.

We had a great week at the Hemlock house! House is perfectly located on Hadlock pond and our kids enjoyed swimming in the warm water! Wooded location kept it cool and the screened in porch was excellent! The kayaks and canoe with a big dock made it a perfect lakeside retreat for a family of four and our two golden retrievers! Cathy was super responsive and very helpful! Hope to come back!

This home is a perfect peaceful escape. We loved relaxing on the wrap around porch overlooking the lake in the midst of a hemlock forest. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking, canoeing and fishing. The home is equipped with everything you need. The fenced in yard off the porch was a bonus for our dogs. Catherine was so helpful and responsive. We look forward to returning next year!

Catherine's house has one of best water front on the lake. It is a good distance away from the neighboring property and tall trees giving great shade for hanging around comfortably. The water is super clear and warm - we could feel spring water spouting out on the bottom of the lake by near deck. Unfortunately we could not use the diving board which we were looking forward to but we could not complain as the experience in this beautiful water was priceless. House had everything we could have needed and was simple and comfortable.Catherine was super prompt regarding replying to any question and reliable. It was excellent vacation spot and we look forward to the future stay again.

The Hemlock House proved to be an excellent choice for our vacation getaway. It's conveniently located to many activities the region offers, yet secluded enough to provide a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The house easily accommodated the four adults and two children in our group. It was well stocked, neat and clean. Our gracious host made herself easily accessible for questions or concerns (which there were none). The garage was convenient to store our bicycles in. We enjoyed relaxing on the spacious dock, swimming in the crystal clear water, and kayaking. Staying at the Hemlock House gave us a peaceful, enjoyable environment to stay during our vacation. I recommend this property for anyone staying in the area!

The 2 bedroom -1-1/2 bath lake house had everything we needed for a wonderful week on the lake with our 3 grandkids. We used both the fully equipped kitchen and gas barbecue to cook all our meals. The lake view from the house was amazing, and the house has a large enclosed porch facing the lake. The house is just steps from a new large dock, where we fished and went swimming every day from. The house comes with 2 rafts to swim to, one of which has a ladder and diving board.

We were looking for a cottage on a lake near the Fort Ann Soccer facility where my grandson was to spend five days. Away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George (but close enough when needed), Hemlock House was in a perfect location. The house was clean, well stocked and the owner came immediately when a light fixture had to be replaced. There were ample linens, good beds and did I forget to mention the fabulous screened porch and view of the lake. The waterfront, a short walk down from the house had the canoe and kayaks, life jackets and lots of fish to catch right off the dock. We had a fine week at this house and would highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at Hemlock House. We spent a lot of time swimming and exploring the lake with the boats provided. The water was beautiful and so clear. My husband caught a big bass right off the dock! The people who live on the lake are very friendly. Sitting on the dock folks in small boats would pause to say hello and tell us about the area. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage yet we were close enough to Lake George and surroundings to enjoy the restaurants, outlet stores, and mini golf. If you enjoy mini golf there is an ice cream and golf place just a little way down the road that is like the places I remember as a kid. We had some great meals at the new Streaking Moose Barbecue Restaurant. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The owner, Cathy, was very attentive to our needs. She even retrieved my daughter's medicine which was left by mistake and sent it to us. We have wonderful memories of the time we spent at this quiet lakeside home. Our son thought that renting the scooters at Lake George to take in the sights was certainly a highlight of the trip. This is a wonderful spot to take in the adventure as well as the quiet of the lake region.

This was the perfect spot for our family! Close enough to Lake George to go see the sights, but far enough away to still get peace and quiet. Cathy was wonderful and made sure we had everything that we needed. The house was fully stocked with all the essentials. We especially loved the brand new dock and wide lake frontage were we could sit, go out on the kayaks, fish, or swim. The lake was quiet and peaceful and everyone we met was friendly. We were happy that we could bring our dog and she loved the fenced in area that connected to the porch. The house and dock were very dog friendly and we were pleased to not have to leave our pup with someone else at home. If you are looking for a reasonably priced getaway that offers privacy, relaxation, and fun then this is the place for you!

It's been over a year since I stayed at Hemlock House, but on this cold winter night I was reminiscing about that summer vacation and decided to look at the property again online tonight. This is the quintessential vacation home. The house is adorable and has just about everything you need. Staying at Hemlock House is truly for those who want to relax in the mountains. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the boats. We did quite a bit of fishing too. We also enjoyed our proximity to Lake George. We were close enough to go every day, yet we were far enough away to escape the tourists. This is a very nice property and Cathy, the owner, was very helpful. I reccomend this place for everyone!
