Our stay couldn’t have been better! The house was exactly what we wanted. Lots of extra space, a big well stocked kitchen, well taken property, easy path to the dock and a place to put our boat! Christi was very helpful with the check in process. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

This was a wonderful place to stay as an anchor for our visit to Atlanta and the outlying area. It was a comfortable distance away from the city that allowed us to experience both the busier and slower sides of the region. It was very calming to wake up in the morning to an overlook of trees and water, enjoying some coffee and getting ready to start the day.

Beautiful residence with spectacular views of the lake. Our favorite place was the sun room overlooking the lake. This would be a great place to come back to in the summer.

We had a great time in our lake cabin. The management company contacted us well in advance, and made sure we had everything we needed for check in and during our stay. The location is excellent! Such great water sports right outside the small cove, and good privacy for swimming or paddle boarding in the cove.

We loved our stay here! Here are the main highlights: Very clean and well kept. Location was great and the cove was perfect. This house had everything we needed and then some. We did not want to leave, 3 days was just not long enough.
More details: Yes, the house is outdated, but honestly we fell in love with it once we got there for that very reason. We all felt like we were at our grandparents house, which felt like home. Everything was very clean and in great condition. the stove and oven are very old, but incredibly clean and work wonderfully. The house had plenty of towels and linens. We loved the simplicity of sitting and listening to Johnny Cash on the CD player, even my 7 year old loved it. All the beds were clean and comfortable. While most of the furniture is fairly old, it was mostly all very good quality and in very good condition.
The Driveway is VERY steep, which is fine, but good to know before you go. We drive an Expedition EL and had about 2 inch clearance driving into the carport, take it slow. We brought our 19 foot bowrider boat with us. The boat ramp is about a 6 minute drive from the house, so very convenient and a very easy boat ride. There was a place at the top of the property to park the boat trailer, which was great(no way to park it in the driveway). The dock was wonderful and fit our boat perfectly. The walk down to the dock is fairly easy. We enjoyed being able to keep the boat in the water during our stay and just being able to hop in and go whenever we wanted to.
Again, we loved this house and the nostalgia that it brings about as soon as you walk in the door. We hope to come back next summer for a full week.

Our family had a wonderful time at this Lake Lanier home. The home was very clean. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, nice towels, stocked kitchen etc... We brought our jet skis and the dock was great. The house is located in the quieter part of the lake which we loved. The Dollar store, Publix and more were fairly close. We would recommend this home

Great Lake experience!
Everything you need to enjoy the lake. Perfect lake property and dock. Driveway is steep but just adds to the mtn/ lake experience. Very private and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in the house, we were a party of 2 adults and 2 small children under 5. The house is very clean and everything works perfectly. The house is a little dated but we felt that it gives the house a certain charm, we knew the house would be dated from the pictures and other reviews we read. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots/pans, dishes/cutlery, and mugs/cups you would need for all your meals. The washer/dryer wash well, with small children we had the need to use them. The driveway is very steep, luckily we have an SUV and had no problems getting back up the driveway (if someone has a small car that is low to the ground they will have an issue getting back up the driveway). I would recommend new towels for the bathrooms (the existing towels are frayed and very worn) and maybe getting a few champagne glasses. Other than our two minor recommendations we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space of the house. We've talked about a future visit during the summertime months. Thank you for providing us with a nice holiday experience.

Everything was great, well stocked kitchen that supported the preparation of a full Thanksgiving dinner. We did not have any other needs. The great room was perfect for visiting and having the view to the lake was a plus. The weather was too cool to take advantage of the lake, but it was a beautiful spot.

The location was perfect with being in a quite cove. We were able to kayak in smooth water and no boat traffic. The dock was fantastic. The house is dated and we knew that going into the rental. However, if you are renting during the summer months, be aware as some of the other reviews have stated - the air upstairs does not work. Its a single unit air conditioning which cools the main level very well but no air conditioning is available upstairs. Luckily we brought 6 fans with us. The management company said they plan to put in a second unit to cool the upstairs but because of COVID it had not been done. All the ceiling fans need to be replaced. The ones upstairs don't have a "high" setting. The ones downstairs make noises just because they are old. The sliding glass door leading to the open deck needs to be addressed. We bought a can of WD40 to help but it didn't last long. I would also recommend that the deck be pressured washed to help with the appearance and help with the damp smell because no sun really gets onto that deck. We had trouble finding the switch for the light down to the dock. Might want to label the switches. The kitchen is well stock and we loved the large refrigerator. We loved having the use of the kayaks!

I could not have asked for anything more. Clean and quiet. The boat dock fit our center console perfectly. We made several sunrise and sunset trips out on the lake. Plenty to see and do on the water. If you don't have a boat and are just relaxing you can do just that. Kids spent hours swimming and playing on the dock.

Great location, close to Gainesville. The home was spotless upon arrival. The room off the deck was an ideal place for coffee in the morning, and with a great view. The home is equipped with all the amenities you'll need. And, after a scenic walk to the water, a sandy beach!
