We had a fantastic stay accompanied by great hospitality from the hosts! They provided us with great local suggestions and information and were very open and welcoming to our additional requests! The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was great filled with local and homemade products. We totally recommend staying there if you're coming to Angra, as it is very well located to enjoy all the city attractions within walking distance!

Very well located hostel but more like a boutique hotel :). The owners are very friendly and give us a lor of info about the island's atractions and restaurants. The brakfast includes homemade and local products.

The relativly high level of humidity on the rooms.

One of the nicest and best maintained places we stayed at. Excellent location in town with most everything within walking distance. Most importantly the hosts (owners) went overboard to help out in any way they could. Great hosts.

A lovely stay in Angra, friendly and helpful hosts and delicious breakfast with local products. Exceeded our expectations in every way. Did not feel like a hostel, more like a hotel! We stayed there for two nights and decided to go to Praia for the remaining two - big mistake! We should have stayed in Memoria this whole time.

The reception was great and we got the best tips to explore the island. Amazing breakfast with local specialties. If you're in Terceira, this is the place to stay!

Our stay at Memoria Hostel was excellent in every aspect. The rooms are tastefully furnished and perfectly clean. The staff is extremely kind and helpful in meeting requests and giving advice to fully enjoy the experience in Terceira. The breakfast is tasty, abundant and there is plenty of choice.

The structure is located along a quite steep uphill road.

Hosts were amazing! They have so much local knowledge about history, food and sites to see. They cannot do enough to help in organising tours, taxis, and itineraries. The room was very clean and bed made up everyday, with cooling AC that could be directly controlled from the room. Water pressure was high standard, beds comfortable, and plenty of plug sockets in the room. The breakfast was delicious- consisting of local cheese, meats, honey and breads as well as a selection of juices and hot drinks. Water was drinkable from taps in the establishment. The honesty fridge worked extremely well; we did not have to concern ourselves with paying as we went along, we could just settle up at the end of our stay. Overall, this hostel exceeded our expectations in every way and I cannot recommend staying here highly enough!

The hostel is about 5/10 minute walk from the town centre on a slight incline. It is no challenge unless a person is less able for walking (wheelchair/crutches). The reception within the establishment is up some stairs with no elevator so again not ideal for those unable for climbing.

The property was immaculate, ordered & so clean. Everything about the rooms & shared areas has been considered & was to a very high spec- it really felt like a high end hotel! All staff are extremely friendly & could not do more to help you whether it is helping you find out about where to visit on the island or showing you the amazing home made cakes, granola & jams at breakfast! Very much recommend this as the place to stay in Terceira! Perfect for couples or families!

The breakfast was made up of locally sourced cheeses / meats / breads / jams / bananas / etc. You had a choice to sit inside or out on the lovely covered patio space. The shower pressure was fabulous & the room was spotless. I loved the extra detailing / small touches throughout including local artwork, monogrammed bath towels & the filtered water supplied in the room daily.

The personal service was really extraordinary, ab absolute recommendation! The breakfast buffet is with local specialities, and the staff is super helpful in planning tours for the amount of days on Terceira. If again on the island, I would definitely come back

The hostel is run by a super nice couple that made us feel like part of the family, very supportive with our 7 weeks old baby. The breakfast was very nice, comfortable cozy space, mostly local and homemade foods and the hosts offered some goods from their own garden. The rooms are newly and beautifully renovated. It's super close to the center, the beach and a nice market and botanical garden, but calm street. We will definitely come again.

The hosts friendliness and care is exceptional. The spaces are well designed, with attention to detail. The rooms are lovely and there are high quality photographs and illustrations from the island. The breakfast ingredients are all local high quality products. I especially appreciated all the suggestions being given of things to do, nice restaurants (great picks) and letting us know where free parking was available nearby.
