Een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door Gian F.Hij reed ons direkt met zijn autootje van en naar t stadje en legde uit waar we winkels en restaurants konden vinden en de makkelijkste weg naar t appartement. Ruim appartement,grote slaapkamer met groot bed. Keuken bank en eethoek zijn in 1 kamer.Schone en goede frisse handdoeken. Prachtig gelegen om het gebied Del Madonie te bezoeken.Leuke dorpjes in de omgeving

Het huis is nogal gehorig.We konden de hond door t huis horen lopen en alle gesprekken waren zeer duidelijk te horen. Het bed had spiralen en was aan de harde kant

Comfortable, safe and clean

No A.C but it was still comfortable and a fan was still good as the air was fresh and mountains around you make the atmosphere fresh

The flat we stayed in was very cosy and conveniently located. The host was very nice and helpful.

We stayed here for three nights, the owner Gian Filippo was an excellent host showing us a local restaurant the day on our arrival. The apartment was located on top of the village with a great view from the balcony. Everything was clean, and great parking opportunity if you arrive with car. Castelbuono was a authentic small Sicilian village, we loved it. 30-40 minutes from Cefalu. Would book again!

Gian Filippo is a very likeable and kind host. Communication was great and he tried to cater to all of our needs. The apartment is spacious with multiple balconies and settled in an amazing quiet environment surrounded by hills. Yet, you can walk to the city center and enjoy the atmosphere of Castelbuono. Value for money is outstanding and we would certainly come back!

I would suggest some mosquito nets.

Very nice mansard flat with wonderful views from the third floor. In spite of daylight temperatures around 36 Celsius, the nights were comfortably cool, because there are so many windows to create an effective draft air conditioning substitute. It is only a ten minute walk from the quiet location at the edge of town down a steep hill to the city center.

Because of daylight temperatures around 36 Celsius, we missed air conditioning during the day. If you are very tall, you might have a problem with the mansard flat with sloping ceilings. If you are disabled the narrow, outdoor spiral stair case would pose a problem.
