Loved cleanliness and decor.
The loft is open to the downstairs, so the tv and conversations and activity upstairs competes with the living room downstairs. We were sight seeing by day, so only had issues in the evening.
Getting local tv channels for downtime was a challenge.
We needed more exact instructions to follow for this.
We still enjoyed the visit and enjoyed our time in the area.

What a treat this house is!! Fantastic location really close to lots of fun places to eat and things to see and do.
The house is super clean, with everything you could possibly need for for a weekend getaway! The beds are extremely comfortable with wonderful linens! Would definitely stay again!!

This was the house we’ve been looking for in years of coming to SW Michigan! Beautiful inside and out, great location, comfortable and very well laid out. Owner was proactive and very responsive throughout the process. Definitely will be looking to see if this one is available next time we go!

We had a great week in Union Pier. The rental was exactly as described, the kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of beach and bath towels, the beds were comfortable, and the place was very clean upon arrival. Jena quickly responded when we had questions both before and after we arrived. We go to Union Pier every summer and definitely would rent again!

The property is bright, spacious, beautifully furnished, colorful, comfortable, well stocked, and in a great location. It has a roomy screened-in porch plus a patio. An easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach. We were 3 generations--my husband and myself (in our 70s), our daughter and son-in-law, and their two sons, ages 3.5 and 5.5.

It was a bit disappointing to realize that the 3rd "bedroom" was just a loft with no privacy, but everything else was great. We enjoyed our stay. Parking everyone in the small driveway was difficult, but we did notice that there seems to be a few spaces allotted to the house in the communal parking lot for the little village of cottages that the house is a part of. Not sure why we didn't know about this beforehand. Thanks to Jena for a great stay.

Such a comfortable, charming, extremely well-outfitted house perfect for a weekend of relaxing and getting caught up with friends. Floor plan is perfect for a few friends or a small family or two, three nice bathrooms and comfortable beds and bedding. Great location less than a five minute stroll to Lake Michigan, close to breweries, wineries, and restaurants. We are already making plans for our next stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and all activities around Union pier. MI Retreat was perfect and very comfortable for group of 4. Loved the screened porch and comfortable sofa for conversation.

5 of my friends and I went up to Union Pier for a long weekend getaway and what a perfect choice this was. We had an absolute fabulous town, close to so many great eats and drinks! Wineries just down the road about 15-20 mins. Lots to do! On top of that, what a perfect house! Every detail was thought of. You can tell that this homeowner cares about her guests. LOVED the comforter on the master bed. The bathrooms were supplied with everything you need. Towels are fluffier than any Ive ever seen. Beds so very comfy. I would stay here again in an heartbeat and my girls are already picking dates to come back.

Bright, happy and very well appointed home with a short walk to the beach. Extremely clean and comfortable for a family of five. We loved relaxing on the porch and the fire pit. Jena was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! Looking forward to staying again in this great find!

The screened in porch looked so inviting; sure to be a wonderful place to hang out in warmer weather. Kitchen was well equipped. We ate most of our meals in and everything worked fine. Nice outdoor grill. Be sure to bring adapter cords to plug into the nice sound system. TV didn't work for us - xfinity connection was lost. Host responded right away and tried to assist us but we gave up and just enjoyed music and the fire. Highly recommend

A few girlfriends and I stayed here and had the best time. Easy drive from Chicago! We found some great antique shops and ordered take out and spent a rainy night sitting by the fireplace, drinking wine. It was comfortable and cozy! Lots of great sunlight (when the sun is shining)!
