Neat clean house

There was no warning from Bookings.com or reservation that this property is affected by loadshedding and there is no generator of solar as back-up. It should have been mentioned upfront that I was to provide wood to cook, matches, portable batteries, cooler boxes to prevent food from going stale, own torches, buckets with water heating elements...etc. As a family with three children and one kid being special needs, we were left on most nights cold and no food and no facilities to charge equipment used by my kid on a wheelchair. The mornings with loadshedding we were unable to cook breakfasts, no warm shower and unable to do clothes washing. I can go on and on how much we had to do to change our holiday plans just to enjoy the little hours we had on this holiday as a family as we spent most time trying to beat the loadshedding and getting food ready. At night from 5pm to 10pm loadshedding it was a hazardous to walk around the holiday villa with no back-up lights and tripping hazards everywhere, my kids fell many times trying to play. I understand that the country is experiencing loadshedding, but you'll should have had the courtesy to warn me upfront of the situation so i could prepare and bring along torches, wood…etc.

The pool could have been heated
