This was our second stay at this lovely cottage on the shores of the passage between Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap peninsula. And it was as enjoyable as the first time. It was peaceful, beautiful and relaxing, but also close to plenty of places to explore and enjoy. We even got regular evening visits from a group of river otters. Our pups enjoyed the yard and beach and it was a great place from which to launch our kayak and explore (it took about 15 minutes to paddle across to Bainbridge and the shore of the state park there). Hopefully we can return here again on our next visit to the PNW.

Our stay was enchanting! The house is beautiful! The location, right on the waterfront, is amazing! You wake up every day and from every room you see the ocean and nature surrounding you from every window. The house is isolated so there is no one and no noise around you. The beach is all yours! Plus, the house has everything you need, and the bed is very comfortable. Don't miss this gem. Sheryl is a wonderful and very responsive host.

This was one of the best VRBOs we've stayed at. Gorgeous property in beautiful area. Outstanding hosts anticipate every need. We brought two small cats with us and they loved sitting in the windows and basking in the sun. We hope to come back again when our daughter can join us as well.

Our stay was lovely! Sheryl was a great host, checked in during the trip and made sure everything was available. Being right on the water and kayaking everyday was magical. We had the beach all to ourselves and enjoyed every minute of our trip.

This was a hidden gem. Once we found it , the rest was amazing! Beautiful view, waves at night, everything you would need available to you. We loved it and didn’t want to leave.

My favorite places to stay are ones with great views of water. This one is perfect. It is clean with important essential touches, like heating by room, condiments, technology connections, and privacy. It has a steep driveway that is a bit intimidating but my friend, my dogs, and I loved it—especially the little private beach! Thanks!

This home sits on the shores of the Puget Sound. We spent so many hours watching the birds, boats, changing water and sky, just loving the space. The master bedroom has 5 windows looking straight across at Bainbridge Island. All of the spaces are very comfortable. The smaller bedroom was quite cozy and the bedrooms are separated by being upstairs and downstairs, which is nice for two couples. There are two roomy decks. The grocery store was a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked (we added some wine glasses!) and we were able to cook many meals there. We highly recommend this beautiful spot!

I cannot say enough good things about this cozy, welcoming cottage outside of Bremerton. Conveniently located near to Silverdale, Poulsbo, and Bainbridge Island if you feel the need to explore. Under 10 minutes to Toad House pizza if you don’t feel like cooking. Walgreens, Walmart, and Safeway are nearby to stock up for your stay or grab something you may have forgotten. Trader Joe’s is just 15 minutes over in Silverdale. The house is well stocked with games, books, puzzles as well as a grill, kayaks, a wood-burning outdoor fire pit and fireplaces in the living area and main bedroom. Comfy sofas, soft linens, plenty of towels, and a kitchen with just about everything you can think of to help you prepare a meal or bake some goodies. And the VIEW. Oh my goodness. It’s like living in a treehouse over the water. There is really no one else around and you have the beach all to yourself. The waves, birds peeping, and the wind in the trees is all you will hear. And the air has that salty sweetness that just says “ocean front living.” Sheryl and Jim are gracious hosts and this is obviously a family retreat that they are giving their guests access to. I wouldn’t change a thing, and I hope to be able to return on my next visit to the area. A little slice of heaven on earth.

Everything was as advertised. Check In was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our 2 dogs and a cat. Our Black Lab loved swimming everyday. We also visited Poulsbo and Silverdale where we found good shopping and food. The cabin and location are spectacular! We will do this getaway again.

Very cute cottage right on the water. We enjoyed walking the beach and kayaking. Convenient location close to grocery stores and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and had good communication.

Amazing secluded property right on the water. It almost feels like you’re sleeping in a houseboat with the proximity to the water! Everything you could want/need right there. Cozy spot with beach access and views for days. There are few vrbos that actually live up to the pictures-and this is one! Highly recommend!

During our 10 day stay, we did not see a single person on the shore which was nice for walking our dogs. We enjoyed kayaking and watching an occasional boat pass by. We have stayed at several VRBOs and this was was by far the most perfect place!

When we drove down the driveway, we were blown away at this charming home that rested at the waters edge and is nestled against the hillside. It literally made us say “wow!” Check in was easy and when we walked in the door, we were instantly drawn into the magnificent view of the water. It was high tide and the view from the nicely appointed living room felt like we were on the water. Once you go upstairs to the master bedroom, again you are greeted by a wall of windows and the most wonderful views. FYI: The master bed is pretty soft (not much support). But maybe my age is showing here. Lol! We were there for Labor Day weekend and were delighted at the privacy this house offers. We watched the boats and ferry from the deck, but the house was quiet and so relaxing . The house feels remote, but it is just minutes from stores and eateries. We did some beach combing from the house at low tide and found a few beautiful shells. One of the days we went to Poulsbo, it was just 20 minutes away. We grabbed some yummy pastries at Poulsbo’s Bakery and did some shopping at the cute shops in old town. We also went to Port Townsend one day and enjoyed some art galleries , ate and enjoyed some nice wine. This house is a great location for exploring the peninsula, if you can tear yourself away from this great home. We will be back . Thanks for sharing you lovely home!
