This property is NOT privately owned! Rather it is owned by a rental company and then listed on VRBO, so there really isn't the typical "by owner." This lack of ownership shows in the unit. Everything was clean on the surface, showers cleaned, floors swept, clean linens, clean towels. But the longer we were in the unit (we stayed 10 days) the more we noticed. The carpet in the master bedroom was disgusting, the back side of the curtains were gross and maybe molding, the corners of the floors had not been cleaned, the walls needed wiped down. It is obvious that no one has any personal ownership in the property. All that being said, the location is amazing and the property management company was easy to work with. 50/50 on if we would stay here again.

Very nice roomy condo . Very clean.. stocked with everything we needed and an absolute beautiful view from the balcony. Management was very helpful and prompt. Such a fun place for families with kids . We loved the lazy river and all of the pool options

Pros: condo was clean and well stocked. Had pots,pans,tons of glasses,bowls silverware. Coffee pot and Keurig. Great view from 10th floor,lazy river and water slide was a big hit wish it was heated though. Beach was beautiful,we rented beach chairs that was nice. Wish the beach was non smoking.
Cons: walk in closet carpets need to be deep clean and shampoo in the master. Also bring extra blankets if u run cold the master had a very thin conforter and i was freezing. Also master bed is horribly noisy,i believe its the box spring. Every time we moved it was so loud please change that. The biggest con for us was getting the parking pass. Waiting in that line then get up there they need vin,make model driver license.front desk staff was slow and seem unorganized. Another rental agency had a QR code right at the desk. I feel this would be extremely helpful and faster please look into doing this. As this was a painfully slow and unorganized process. Elevators were busy but it was fine and everyone was helpful in holding doors and letting u on. I purpose chose and lower floor so we took the stairs a few times. Some construction going on when we were there but it wasnt horrible at least they wait led till 9am to start it.
Overall the condo was great,location great. All the staff that we ran into were very nice. Glad we visited Orange Beach.

The carpet in the closet was disgusting. There are broken tile on the bar and spakling spots on wall in one of the bathrooms. The walls are very thin, we could hear everything. For 3 days we listened to construction in a nearby unit. The outdoor pool and lazy river were not heated and it was unseasonably chilly during our visit. We were unable to use the tennis court due to construction.

This condo has absolutely the most stunning view with the entire back side being glass. Ocean views while cooking, watching TV or dining. Balcony wonderful. Each bedroom has it’s own full bath and floor plan ensures maximum privacy. Facility beautiful with helpful staff and security visible throughout. Lazy river and beach wonderful, restaurants walkable. Will definitely add this to our list of favs!

We just returned from our stay and enjoyed this property. It is a great location, very spacious, clean, and offers great views and amenities.

We have a handicapped daughter-this property is great for HC accessibility. From the wide doorways in the condo to the zero access boardwalk to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay. Dishwasher didn’t work, but the property manager sent someone to fix it shortly after we report. Everything else is very nice.

Perfect Group Get Away
A group of families headed to Orange Beach and rented condos in this building. Everything was perfect. We shared the condo with one other family. Was perfect for parents and 2 boys. Lots of space.

Phoenix West is a nice place. Condo was well kept. Not a whole lot of extras in the kitchen though. Little aggravating that they charge for parking but that has nothing to do with the individual condo/owner.

The Phoenix West is a great property. So many amenities. It checked off all the boxes for our group. We had 3 generations. The staff at Phoenix West keep things clean and were very helpful. We were there after Labor Day, so the building didn't seem to be at capacity (which made parking easier and getting an elevator easier). We appreciated the pools/hot tubs being open from 7:00am-11:00pm... It allowed our all-adult group peaceful times with no kids in the pool. Another nice thing,,, all the luggage carts and shopping carts available for use made getting things from the parking deck to our unit so much easier. The location was convenient to food & stores (we often times hopped on our bikes to get places). We took advantage of the grilling area (another space kept spic-n-span by the staff)-- note: these are charcoal grills. We took one afternoon to grill up a bunch of meat so the fridge was stocked for anyone's meal schedule.
We had a wonderful view. The unit is nice, the kitchen accommodated all our food prep needs. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group of 8.
When we arrived, the unit smelled fresh & clean. All the bedding was clean and the bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels. The master bathroom is HUGE. We spent a lot of time in the evening around the table playing cards & games. We had a lovely view of the ocean from this spot.
Having a passcode for the door was a plus (didn't have to keep up with keys or key card).
We have a few suggestions for the owner: sure-up the dining table and chairs -- they are a little shaky. Spot clean the living room furniture. Shampoo the master closet carpet.
We would definitely stay here again.

As a family we had a good time, but there was some issues. One the WIFI is awful, second the top electric outlets in every room did not work, third the parking was the worst you could have, fourth it was not a family friendly place at all, fifth the elevators were awful one was out, sixth a tv went out and the maintenance tried to get us to fix ourselves, because they didn’t have the time to come and take care of it. We insisted that they come and fix it and they finally did. The management and security did nothing about the underage drinking that was going on. The teenagers were loud, drunk and running around causing problems and in fact security just stood there watching the whole thing go down and did nothing. The teenagers even asked us not to turn them in because they were underage. We would not suggest this property for family vacation unless you want to see that kind of behavior going on. The front gate security lady was very rude to us because there not enough parking even though we were promised there would be, she treated like we were criminals.

As a family we had a good time, but there was some issues. One the WIFI is awful, second the top electric outlets in every room did not work, third the parking was the worst you could have, fourth it was not a family friendly place at all, fifth the elevators were awful one was out, sixth a tv went out and the maintenance tried to get us to fix ourselves, because they didn’t have the time to come and take care of it. We insisted that they come and fix it and they finally did. The management and security did nothing about the underage drinking that was going on. Booking was easy and photos on VRBO were exact. Beautiful condo, up to date and an extra bathroom is amazing with two teens! Property was clean and easy access to the beach where you can rent chairs or bring your own. Only thing that gives it less than perfect was the elevator situation. What they dropped off was absolutely unworkable. The wheelchair had to drop about 5inches. You want us to let a $30,000 wheelchair drop five inches with my father who can’t hardly hold his head up? Unacceptable. In the end they said they didn’t know what else to do. We were able to independently rent a ramp and had a great time. If the wheelchair can’t access some of the main features of the condo, please don’t advertise especially if we verify before hand. This was extremely frustrating and embarrassing for my father.if you aren’t coming with a wheelchair, it was a nice condo. Floors will leave your feet black and there is a ripped curtain in the living room. Other than that, we had a great last beach trip with my father before he passes away.
