Our family stayed at this Vrbo for a Labor Day weekend wedding. It was a wonderful visit. The house is spacious. The extra long dining table is a great feature — we could fit everyone around it. Michael was attentive. We highly recommend this house.

This house fit our needs for a rather large group of family members. The house could use significant maintenace, but we are not overly particular and were happy that it accomidated our unique needs.

A group of 13 of us stayed here, and although the house could use a lot of updates (ie. missing exhaust fans in the bathrooms, couches with ripped cushions, outdated fixtures and interior design) it was still very clean, spacious, well stocked, and a great value for this size of home. There was AMPLE space - it felt like there were bedroom after bedroom here, so if you have a large group and are okay with a dated look, this is a great place to spend time together. Owner was also extremely friendly and kind. I would stay here again.

It doesn't feel big as a 4000 sf house in it's layout, but it worked for our group. Pros: Great spot in Beautiful setting/yard, close enough to P-town. Stocked with enough dishware/ cutlery/ toilet paper/towels/sheets for a group. Big dining table. Firepit. Enough chairs for all. Good amount of parking. Cons:Clearly a party house, somewhat run down, very stained carpets, paint pulled off walls. Dead beetles everywhere. Every day more appeared and died. Upon arrival we spent 30 min vacuuming bugs and the debris that had not been vacuumed on carpeted stairs, and wiping dirty smears and insects from kitchen counters. Beetles were crawling on us in bed at night! (not owner's fault but it was gross!) No dish sponges available (though owner responsive and willing to bring one). Old meat left on grill. We needed instructions how to use thermostat and had to replace its batteries as they died. Luckily we had some. When it was hot outside, air conditioning kept us comfortable on main floor but it got too Freezing cold for us to use the basement level, and was too hot to use the loft area! When the weather cooled and heat on, it still didn't warm enough downstairs for our use. No screens so we couldn't open windows at night, or keep sliding door open, especially with all the beetles around. One person downstairs said her carpet or bed smelled of urine. BUT Really--better cleaning, thermostat downstairs, some maintenance, and I'd stay again, but not in bug season!

We booked this house for a surprise 40th birthday family reunion and overall had a great stay! The host was really responsive and even brought us a new coffee maker extra TP when I notified him that the coffee carafe was broken. We really enjoyed the space to get together and play games. The kids loved the swing set, foosball, ping ping and we even had a fire and roasted marshmallows. Plenty of towels, the kitchen was well appointed and there was extra soap, shampoo and body wash etc available in the pantry. The property is a little run down, some things were broken but for the price, proximity to the city while being quiet and scenic and plenty of room for everyone to gather- it’s a great value and I’d totally book it again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Michael was great at communicating and helping us have a great stay. The house is in a great location for access to Portland attractions as well as Beaverton and Hillsboro. We needed a place where our family could all stay together for our youngest son's wedding. We had people fly and drive in from 5 different states. This was the biggest place we could find that would fit us all.

We had 15 adults (kids are all over 15) who all had their own bed and plenty of room to spread out. We loved the dining room table for meals and games as we spent a lot of time doing this. There were plenty of dishes, glassware, small appliances, old towels, etc. There was a large supply of unneeded shampoos and conditioners in the pantry but the house was lacking in needed bar soap, dish soap, and toilet paper. Temperature: When we arrived, the heat was turned off (in December) and it was 52 degrees in the house. We found three open windows downstairs contributing to the very cold conditions. We finally got the heat to warm things up but the far bedroom downstairs never warmed up and the small bedroom downstairs has a vent above the bed that overheated the couple sleeping in there. Living Room: The couch was blocking the fireplace, so we moved things around a bit. When we moved the couch, we found all kinds of lego blocks, food, crumbs, etc – it was kind of gross. I called the owner for instructions on the fireplace, and he answered right away and let me know we needed long matches to light the gas fireplace. We never got it to light. Kitchen: The oven was tricky. I had to call the owner for instructions, and then we were able to get it to turn on. But it was problematic all weekend, and we couldn’t get it to turn on at all on our last day. Deck: It was December, so we weren’t outside much. We put sodas and juice out there to keep it cold, so we’d have more space in the fridge. The deck was full of leaves – it would have been nice if the cleaning crew would have swept them off. Furnishings: Furniture was fine, nothing special (other than the dining room). The wood flooring seemed new and looked nice, but the carpet was badly stained so it just looks dirty. Lots of chips in the wall paint too. It might have been nice to have a bigger television in the living room – it was such a great space and the television just looked so small in there with us all trying to watch the World Cup. Overall, the space worked for our family reunion. I feel like with a few upgrades and supplies it would be perfect.

This is really a nice place to stay and do great for our four family unit group. Big place with multiple rooms that allowed folks to separate off and have some alone time, if needed. Only drawbacks were needs some upkeep. Step down into living room should be orange taped to increase awareness of change in height of floor. We ate all meals "in" so a complete kitchen was essential. We brought dishtowels and cloths fortunately as there were none; there were only 2 pods for the dishwasher so we bought those; we also bought pot holders as there were none. Plenty of bath towels, dishes, silverware, cooking tools, pots and pans though. I made a complete Thanksgiving dinner there, owner even bought some baking ware and a mixer so I didn't have to bring them which was most kind. We would rent again as nothing was a show stopper when it's positives were greater than its negatives.
