Older, but well kept condo with tons to do for kids. Swimming, ping pong tables, basketball and tennis courts and a lake with very cute ducks for entertainment all within a 5 minute drive or a good walk or bike ride to the pier area.

Our trip started out great. You can tell it's an older property but it has been nicely updated. There were a few minor issues (mainly sliding/folding doors coming off tracks, not working properly) but nothing too concerning. Our 2nd night there, the air quit working. The owner sent someone out to check it and his response was that it was just hot outside and the A/C couldn't keep up. It got up to 82 in the condo on Friday and was still 82 Saturday morning. The owner sent the A/C guy back out on Saturday and the A/C was miraculously working again in less than 5 minutes. Since we were without air for over 24 hours in the middle of summer, I had inquired with the owner about a refund for that night and she responded that we would work something out. Since then (we checked out on Sunday) she has ignored my messages and refused to respond. Very disappointing.

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Walk! The room was perfect for my family of 5! Everything was very clean, organized and the owner happened to be there cleaning when we got there, she noticed it was us arriving (early) and finished up what she had to do and let us check in early! She was very easy to communicate with! We will be back!

Owner was wonderful and very helpful with a small issue with the dryer. So convenient to everything. The oversize bunk beds were such an added plus.

The location of the condo is very close to the pier and downtown SSI. The community the condo is located in offers additional fun amenities and everyone we met on the property grounds were extremely nice and hospitable. We had two fur children with us and they fit right in because it is a very dog friendly community. The property owner was also extremely responsive throughout the booking process and when we requested a last minute delayed checkout time. We would all stay again!

Great place to stay! Owners and property management were very communicative. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything you need and fun stuff to do. I would definitely recommend this to couples and families as there are more than enough room for everyone. Big plus for us is the place is dog friendly 🐶🐶

Wonderful place for quick get away. Owner was very, very helpful and responsive. She worked with us when we had to change dates at truly the last minute. Can’t say enough about her. Definitely recommend

Townhouse was lovely!! Linens and decor were way above expectations! Only one suggestion…and very minor…add smart TV or roku stick to main living room so that guests can “veg” in bad weather instead of 24 hr storm watch tv 🤣🤣. We loved staying here. Would definitely recommend.

To start the review, I want to say I emailed the owner during our trip regarding issues and then after our trip and have received no response. The check-in process could not have been easier. You were really great with flexibility with adding two nights for us and it was easy to find the condo however the lock box could probably use an upgrade. We arrived pretty late and noticed that the refrigerator would not close as soon as we opened it and put items inside. I also noticed that the air conditioner vent in the kitchen was hanging down. We were able to secure the refrigerator with a chair and I was able to screw the vent cover back in in place. Once we told you about the refrigerator the next day, you sent over a handyman who was able to fix it which we appreciated. Other items we noticed after the first couple of nights that I emailed you about with no response. While these items did not ruin our trip, I would not book this property or recommend other do either. First, there were light bulbs out in both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. There are stains on the living room couch and the kitchen utensils also seemed dirty so we ended up not using any of your cups or mugs and only a knife and fork for our dogs food. We tried to run the dishwasher as instructed before our departure but it wouldn't work. The dishwasher lights did blink all week and just tried to ignore it. We also found a cockroach hanging out in the kitchen on Tuesday. I was at the beach most of the day and my mom stayed behind. She is the one who saw it during the day and then that night, I also saw it. This is when I emailed you. Since I got no response, we left the kitchen light on all week as a deterrence. Other items made us feel that the condo is in need of a general deep clean and some handiwork were the paint scratches, areas that had been patched but not repainted, and the hallway and master bedroom closets were very squeaky and hard to open and close. The location, while great for families, was so close to the clubhouse and generally in the middle of all the complex action, it was pretty loud. Your unit is definitely more suited for a large and active family than a mother and daughter trying to relax. Finally, I would put out printed instructions on how to use the tv remotes. It took us three days to figure out we got more than one channel. I do think the issues we experience should result in a one night credit but I have not heard from the owner.

We went on a little road trip with my best friend, her parents, and my 6 and 3 year olds. It was a really neat place to visit with lots of things to see and do. My kids loved the playground near the baseball field, walking on the pier, and of course the beach. We did have to drive to the beach, but the walk from the beach access was short. There is a clubhouse just diagonal from this condo that has ping pong, a few board games, books, and even a little bbq set with play food that my 3 year old played with. My kids are early risers, so we would go over there in the morning while everyone else slept in and play a while. The heated pool is also great. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!

We didn’t walk to the Pier/beach, we drove but we could have walked, but after a long day the walk back seemed too much, that was plenty of parking so no issue there. The club house and complex are super cute and both pools were clean and not very busy. The owner responded to me and kept in touch the entire time when we had wifi issues. The beds are very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed, didn’t hear a sound after 10 from the unit. The light switches are a little backwards and the 2nd room was really warm so if you need sound for air bring a fan. I would easily stay again not a complaint from us.

Cute condo, very close to beaches, restaurants, etc. Plenty of linens and very comfortable. The property was great! The individual condo has a patio with a table and umbrella. There were multiple pools, playground, ample places to walk our dogs without having to get in the car. Our only complaint was that we had difficult with WiFi but the owner was very responsive. You may want to touch base with her before you go if you plan to work from the condo. We had a great stay and plan to come back next year!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The decor is very coastal and cute. It was a great location not too far from the beach or village area. The neighborhood was nice. We enjoyed fishing at the pond which is directly across from the condo behind the clubhouse. We also really liked the big swimming pool. Owner was quick to answer any questions we had. Our two younger girls really liked the bunk beds in the alcove upstairs. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable. Would definitely return here if we are ever in the area again.

The owner was absolutely amazing and easy to work with. We previously stayed at another condo (not the same owner)in Ocean Walk so we had an idea what the neighborhood looked like. This condo was bigger and better for a family. It was close to the bigger pool and the kids loved it! The main living areas are downstairs and the bedrooms and main bath are upstairs. It was hard to tell the layout from the photos. The decor was as shown in the pictures and the kitchen was the most updated out of all the rooms. We had a few issues with bugs during our stay, which I didn’t like. There were several lights burnt out on arrival. I messaged the owner and she was very quick to reply and let me know where bulbs may be and apologized as they should have been replaced by the cleaning person. She even said she would have promptly come over herself to do it if she wasn’t out of town. That was very impressive. The condo does need some updates. The railing going up the stairs is barely held into the wall and you can see a large hole with anchors holding it in. The upstairs bathroom doors have water damage to the bottom of them and need to be replaced or fixed. The bifold closet doors easily come off tracks. The 2 king size beds were very comfortable. One of the edges of a blind in the master was broken and light was shining in. Not a huge deal since we had kids waking us up early to go swimming. The kids loved the bunk beds and other king bed. Only other issue is the slider in the living room wouldn’t open. This place is about 0.5 mile to Pier Village and was walkable to restaurants and shopping with 3 kiddos in tow which was great! Overall, a nice place and a comfortable stay. With a few of the above mentioned updates I would have given it 5 stars easily

This was a great property for our family vacation with 2 kids. The property was clean and well-appointed - TP in both bathrooms, hand soap, dish soap, and a good assortment of kitchen equipment. We liked the bunk beds for the kids and the two stories offered some privacy. The complex was a very short drive to the beach and the shops and restaurant were in walking distance (if it had been cooler outside). The complex pool and clubhouse gave the kids something to do after a long day at the beach.

I traveled to Saint Simon's with my husband, 15 and 4 year old sons, and our beagle, Rascals. The condo had everything we needed. Both bedrooms and the full bath are on the top floor. The bunk beds are right outside of the guest bedroom and very close to the master bedroom. The area feels very safe. You could ride a bike to the beach, pier, and most popular restaurants. I saw women jogging alone with earbuds in. The grocery stores are about 10 minutes from the condo in regular traffic. We ordered groceries ahead of time from harris teeter and picked them up. The condo was clean and had a good energy. The big pool is just on the other side of the F building so it was super convenient for that. The wifi in the condo and at the pool was great. The dog lot is beside the tennis court (right across the parking lot from the front door of the condo). The condo looks more spacious in the pictures than it is but honestly we never felt cramped. I did move the glass coffee table out of the way because I was afraid my 4 year old would be too rough on it. Tips: Find the beach access #10 if you can go around low tide. It was the best spot we found. Eat breakfast at Sandcastles (just do it!) and dinner at Porch (only if you like children and spicy food). Thanks for a great stay. We seriously fell in love with the island!
