Great house with a beautiful yard. It was fine for two of us even though it was larger than we needed. I do not recommend it for more than two people. The second bedroom only has a folding couch and not a real bed. I would find that unacceptable if I were renting the home with friends.

Visiting our daughter and family in San Jose. Can't say enough about the property and Phil, the owner. Great location in the Willow Glen neighborhood. Walkable to a number of shops and restaurants. And the house is just great, everything needed was there! Would stay there again in a heartbeat on our next visit!

Clean, spacious, great host bennies (lots of condiments, TP, paper towels, etc. with his go ahead to use them), big gazebo, nicely updated period home. The grill has major hot spots - watch out!

The home was beautiful and will supplied. The neighborhood was lovely and I was able to take morning walks safely everyday. The main street of Willow Glen offered many choices for restaurants. Phil supplied a book with all the information need to make our stay comfortable. We were very impressed with the home and neighborhood.

Not only was the home comfortable, clean and well appointed, the kitchen was everything a cook would want! The neighborhood was decked out for the holidays witch added to the wonderful experience!

We have stayed here before and would recommend it to anyone who is making a trip to San Jose area. We have family in Almaden and are so grateful to have a homelike atmosphere to relax in when we visit them. It's convenient to shops and restaurants in Willow Glen while being minutes from the airport and downtown San Jose.

Situated on a lovely tree lined street with easy walking access to all the Willow Glen shops and restaurants you just can't find a better place to stay. The home is very spacious with a lovely backyard. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home! We loved everything about it! It had everything we needed, we felt comfortable and very much at home. We loved walking around your beautiful neighborhood and up and down the shops on Lincoln Ave! This trip was very special to my family. My sister and I grew up in Saratoga and our entire family moved to Austin, Tx in 1984. Our Dad is now 85 and wanted to come back and see all of the old sights, one last time, as traveling is getting more difficult for him. So we did it all and from this house, it was the perfect jumping off location! We visited our old home (of course), spent an afternoon at Big Basin, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Mt Hamilton's Lick Observatory and much much more! It was truly the trip of a lifetime for our family and we thank you for making it so homey and wonderful!

My husband & I had a wonderful stay at this home. The house was spotless & kitchen was fully stocked. The central San Jose location was perfect for our daily excursions to San Francisco, Monterrey, Napa & Stockton. On our lounge days the home & neighborhood was perfectly peaceful for an evening stroll in Willow Glen or sitting in the back yard. Will definitely look for availability when we return in the future!

We were very lucky to spend one week in this beautiful house while undergoing remodel work on our home nearby in Campbell. What a charming, immaculate home in such a lovely, peaceful neighborhood! From the moment I walked in I knew I’d be sad to leave, and I sure was! Gorgeous hardwood floors, interesting and quaint historic architectural details throughout the home blended with modern conveniences, and attention to details in every room that make it apparent that this is a family home, not just a vacation rental. I was fortunate to be able to work from home most of the week, and I was very comfortable on my laptop in the spacious home office, enjoying the good WiFi and gazing out of the window at the lemon tree in the side yard. We also just loved being only a block from downtown Willow Glen, one of the best areas in San Jose. We had takeout from Taiwan restaurant and the iconic La Villa Italian Delicatessen, and brunch at Bill’s Cafe. We even had a family candle-making morning at Glow Candle Lounge on Lincoln Ave, which was so much fun. The owner of the property is so nice and easy to work with, which makes all the difference. We really felt at home here. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay in San Jose, rent this place. You won’t regret it!

We loved our stay! The house is in the perfect Willow Glen location. We easily walked to town for breakfast, coffee and dinner! The house has plenty of space and nice layout for a family. Definitely will stay again in the future!
