Beautifully kept grounds

The room was in dire need of updating, broken tiles, broken and stained furniture. One reason we booked was because of the bath which we were unable to use due to a faulty plug. No plug in the basin, shoddy finish to workmanship, botched grouting. The basin was leaking but this was quickly repaired, but didn't drain for ages. Only 2 coathangers. No mini-bar, just an empty fridge. No English language TV. All our requests were met with a big smile from the sweet lady at reception by "I'll try" We got to understand that meant it was not possible. Breakfast not available until around 8.45 and a poor choice of buffet where dishes were kept warm. We tried the restaurant once, that was enough, even the rice was mushy. Another reason we booked was for the pool, which we got to use only a couple of times as it is open to the public, and contrary to all the rules posted was often overrun with children running around playing ball games. I even saw a woman sipping a cocktail whilst smoking in the pool. There were only around 10 sunbeds, not enough for the residents, let alone the public. A dirty nappy was left by the pool for 2 days, and the dog brought in a dead rat which was not cleaned up for a day. The staff do not understand enough English, most were sweet, a couple surly, but that doesn't help. Every Sunday there is a rave party, and we had to negotiate past drunks and security to get to our room. Thankfully the law prevented it going past 10pm. Thank goodness we didn't take a pool view room!

It is located at the prime location very near to the Agonda Beach, Butterfly Beach and Palolem Beach. Beautiful Property with full comfort and modern amenities. Crowd is great here and also they organise live shows and parties in the evening.

Rooms are basic. I was expecting better rooms with better maintenance of the rooms. Staff is quite lethargic to do their work.
