Place is as described there was a hiccup with access but host worked quickly to correct

Great location.Great communication with owner. Everything provided in home-pots&pans,towls,etc.

The property was clean and the host was kind and responsive. The neighborhood seemed to be transitional. The worst part of the property was the bedding. The beds were very wobbly, and I feared the bed itself was going to break. The mattresses were very worn with big dips in the middle.

Place was very outdated, pretty clean. One bath towel, no paper towels, just things like that. No check in email to outline how to get into place, how to use TV, just some basic stuff. Will not be staying again.

Cozy 2 level home. Easy to locate and convenient to local attractions. Host was easy to contact. Opportunities: booking did not show the host and service fees in the advertised price. This was an additional $52 and $79 on top of the daily rate. Part of the host fee is for “extra people” which seems excessive since the house is advertised to sleep 12 and at the time of booking we had 2 adults and 2 children traveling.

Nice quiet place, convenient location, quiet neighborhood

Renting this property was easy. The rental itself was sufficient and was reasonably clean. The owner was fairly responsive. The proximity to a local park was very accommodating for our children. There is plenty of room to temporarily provide lodging for up to 6 or 7 people. Over all, we enjoyed our stay.
Some observations:
Upon arrival (about a half hour after the check in time) the cleaning lady was still working. She finished and left fairly rapidly, but left behind a residual odor of cigarette smoke.
The next day, we discovered a partially eaten beef sandwich in the microwave directly on the turntable plate. It did not show signs of rot, so it was evidently recently left.
The neighborhood is on the lower end of the income/property value spectrum. At one point, the putrid odor of marijuana smoke was very evident outside. Thankfully it did not migrate inside.
Wildlife (opossum and racoons) congregated at the adjacent unit's front door overnight.
There are shower towels, but no kitchen towels or rags. Be prepared to bring your own. The dishes are in relatively good shape, but the cutlery is old with what appeared to be rust or mold in the crevices where cleaning is very difficult.
Parking accommodates up to two vehicles, which wasn't an issue for us as we brought only one vehicle.
These are minor issues and can be mitigated easily. We would recommend this rental property for anyone interested in spending a few days in the area.

This was perfect for our needs as we just spent one night there for a wedding. Owner was very helpful.

Property was perfect for our family trip. Plenty of space and beds! It was quiet, safe and near to everything anyone would need in Kingsport and surrounding areas. The park was a bonus and a 4 minute walk. Gavin was a super responsive host and was helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again next time we return to Kingsport.

We really enjoyed our stay at The condo in Kingsport. Everything was as advertised in the condo. Kingsport is a really Kewl town. We especially enjoyed the Farmers market downtown on Saturday Morning and the Natural Tunnel park up in Virginia. Traffic was never a problem, great mid sized town..

Property was perfect for our family trip. Plenty of space and beds! It was quiet, safe and near to everything anyone would need in Kingsport and surrounding areas. Kewl Condo in Kewl Kingsport
We really enjoyed our stay at The condo in Kingsport. Everything was as advertised in the condo. Kingsport is a really Kewl town. We especially enjoyed the Farmers market downtown on Saturday Morning and the Natural Tunnel park up in Virginia. Traffic was never a problem, great mid sized town..

This was my first experience with a rental property. We came to town for a wedding. There were 10 of us and a baby. The property was centrally located for the places we went. A heads up would be that the property definitely would not sleep 12 people! We had to have someone sleep on the couch and one in the recliner chair (which could use a really good cleaning underneath). I can’t imagine where we would have put 2 more people. All the in all it was much cheaper than getting hotel rooms for all my of us for 2 days.

Just Okay

While the overall property was great several of the tvs and the attached devices were not working properly making for down time in the home difficult with three children. We had to replace the batteries in all the remotes. There was also not enough trash bags in the home. There were several items of random clothes and trash through out the property and the master bed mattress was stained and was discouraging. On the plus side the location was central to everything we needed access to and the home was conducive for a family with two bunk beds in the guest room to accommodate multiple children if needed. Access to the property was super easy with lock box code provided before check in.

Pros- economical , central location
Cons (this could not have been corrected during our stay without inconvenient interruptions-)lack of cleanliness: linens stained, couch worn/stained, kitchen area under sink, moldy toilet paper under sink, smelled of dogs and smoke.
This unit needs some updates and a thorough professional cleaning.

The location is quite centrally located. It's very easy to get to anything that you need or want to visit. The beds were VERY comfortable and the place was quite clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Convenient
The location is quite centrally located. It's very easy to get to anything that you need or want to visit. The beds were VERY comfortable and the place was quite clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The property overall was nice, but it appeared to have not been cleaned before I arrived (the shower/bathtub was dirty and the shower did not work at all so I had to take bath's each morning). It is within good proximity to downtown and other sites/shopping.

Check in and out was easy. Location of rental was quiet and the stores and restaurants were in close proximity. Definitely would stay here again for future vacations!

I was in town to take care of business in Gate City, and this property and location met my needs. Easy access to everything, including a great Food City and Kingsport restaurants. The property is located in the center of town, and so nothing is very far. I was able to bring my dog, and there is ample walking and sidewalks through the neighborhood behind the townhouse. Next time I will bring my own towels and bedding, but for the nightly rate of $40 (Plus the dog fee), this place can’t be beat. I will book again when I return to the area.
