The location

This property is not one aiming to offer you a pleasant stay, quite the opposite actually. There were absolutely no toiletries, there were big, dirty spider webs hanging from the ceiling, the shower heads were all dirty and full of limestone, the drawer handles from the bathroom sinks were all corroded and dirty, one corner of the bed seems to have been broken at some point and glued back together, in order to use the washing mashine which was located in the bigger bathroom you had to connect it to a socket on the hallway as there were no sockets in either of the bathrooms, the water from the shower/sink/washing machine was flowing back into the bathroom through the drainpipe located on the floor, hence creating a huge puddle in the whole bathroom making it impossible to use for a good while until it dried up (the owner knew about this problem but shrugged it off saying there is nothing he can do about it), the second and smaller bathroom was impossible to use due to how small it was, the shower curtain was only protecting one side of the shower cabin, leaving the other side exposed letting all the water drop onto the toilet (which was placed literally a few centimeters next to it). The rooms are facing towards the main street so if you are a light sleeper you’ll get woken up constantly during the night. Luckily we only stayed here for 2 nights as we wanted to extend our holiday, but I feel bad for anyone who ends up staying in this place for an entire week. Unless you want to ruin your holidays, stay away from this accomodation. I would feel ashamed as a host to ask for this much money (300 something euros for two nights) for a place that deserves 80 euros per night utmost and that is me being super generous regardless if this was during the high season (august in our case) or not.

Communication with the host was excellent before the arrival and during our stay. The house is very spacious and well equipped - air conditioning, washing machine, fans, dish washer, window blinds etc. Plus it is located in a good area (near the port, close to some nice beachfront tavernas and to a supermarket). The parking spaces in the yard were perfect for 2 cars, the terrace and garden were excellent playing and running areas for the kids.

Despite the house being very well equipped, we could not find any extra trash bags. Also, the night traffic on the main road passing next to the house was quite intense during our stay.

Nice location. Friendly host. Everything was fine! The location is not far away from the Beach and many small and nice restaurants are within walking distance.

Huge space, lots of room for a family of four. Comfortable and just what we needed for the week.

The place is next to a main road. It is a little noisy until late at night but nothing you can’t ignore and sleep through unless you’re a very very light sleeper.
