The Honeymoon Cottage was THE perfect place to explore St. Croix for our 30th Wedding Anniversary! Emily and Chad were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Emily made us these exquisitely decorated cookies for our anniversary that were delicious. The cottage itself is well equipped with everything you might need. I really appreciated the beach towels, chairs, cooler, and snorkel gear that was available for use. We would pack the cooler for the day and head out to discover the island. There are so many things to explore on St. Croix! You also don't have to go anywhere and just enjoy the beautiful beach at the cottage as well. 10/10 visit St. Croix and stay at the Honeymoon Cottage!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th at this beautiful cottage. It has everything you could possibly need, and Chad and Emily are so accommodating. (Emily the cookies were such a special touch and outstanding!) The cottage is centrally located on the island, so we took the opportunity to access both east and west side activities. My husband took three dive trips and he said it is some of the best diving he has done in the world. The dining was phenomenal too- not a bad meal all week. Wonderful memories in a sunny paradise!

We loved our stay here! The hosts made it clear they were available for anything we needed but maintained the perfect distance to maintain our privacy. The anniversary cookies were a great surprise and perfect touch. Highly recommended!

This cottage packs a lot in a small space: King-size bed, A/C, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Internet and more. We had everything we wanted for our week-long stay. Judith’s Fancy is a very quiet, safe, gated community. Great location for exploring the whole island!

We had the best time at Ocean Vista Cottage. There is so much to do on this island and we had fun doing as much as we could. The hosts were fantastic all the way around. We highly recommend this beautiful Oceanside escape.

The perfect little piece of paradise! Chad and Emily were so welcoming and kind. Emily's homemade cookies were phenomenal and much needed after a long day of traveling. The cottage is perfectly located for anything you want to do on the island. It was so clean and had all the accommodations we could’ve needed. Although the cottage is next to the main house, it felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to come back! We couldn't have had a better stay!

This is a lovely cottage and a friendly neighborhood. It is one of the most well-appointed properties we've ever stayed in, having everything we needed and more! While the proximity to the main house is very close, we still had all the privacy we wanted. The path to the beach was difficult to navigate, and there was a HUGE amount of seaweed which made our actual beach not viable for much other than looking at the water a bit, but you are so close to other beaches it is really not an issue. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning watching/listening to the waves. We had been waiting 18 months to make it to the property due to covid and repeated airline cancellations and it did not dissapoint! It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 20th anniversary!

We had a great time at Judiths fancy. Chad and Emily were gracious hosts. We spent most of our time exploring Saint Croix diving and hiking. The time we spent at the property was enjoyable with the sound of the ocean and beautiful sunrises. The amenities were great for our needs. It was nice having a washer and dryer. We cooked breakfast just about daily before we went out exploring. Plenty of restaurants and bars to eat at in Christiansted and Frederiksted. We would stay here again if we come back to Saint Croix.

Great amenities to make it feel more like home. Location is north central part of island which makes travel to points of interest doable (even with island’s sketchy roads). Hosts are very personable and helpful. Being located in gated community gives some sense of security. Overall great place to stay.

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon. Judith’s Fancy is a lovely and safe place with gorgeous views. It was amazing to start each day with a cup of coffee and the waves on our back doorstep. The Vrbo is very clean and has everything you need to have fun in St. Croix. Chad and Emily were very helpful and their hospitality was spot on. Emily’s cookies were superb. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at Chad and Emily's cottage. Perfect location to so many places. We were welcomed by so many neighbors on our daily run/walks. The cottage is very nice and stocked many necessities. Beautiful views and beautiful location!

Chad and his wife were great hosts! This is a really nice, safe area and it's gorgeous and peaceful. We had everything we needed and the hosts were incredibly responsive. Only downside is it's far from things, so recommend renting a car! We'd stay here again.

This house was perfect for us! Emily and Chad went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, checked in on us a couple times throughout the stay, and were available via phone/text anytime we had a question. We loved the homey feel and beautiful view of the ocean. The deck was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the waves. The kitchen was fully stocked and great for warming up leftovers of our meals we went out for. The mattress on the bed was quite firm, so bring a travel mattress pad if you like a softer sleep. This was a 5 star stay with personal concierge service throughout the week we were there. Can’t beat that! We will be back!

Chad & Emily had everything ready for us. We picked a few groceries and Emily met us at the front door. The place, view and setting were all as promised. It is a truly beautiful place with great hosts.

Chad and Emily's cottage is a wonderful place to stay on St Croix. The cleanliness and amenities were great. Bed was comfy. The location for us was ideal. We explored the island quite a bit and some of our favorite spots were on the far east and west coasts. Being centrally located was great as we were never more than 30 min from almost anywhere on the island. Christianstead is a mere 10-15 min away. The beach outside the cottage is beautiful and great for laying in chairs. The water isn't really swimmable as there are a lot of rocks in the tide. But that wasn't a bother for us at all.

The property is just like the pictures. The best place is the varanda and sit on the beach stairs and relax looking and the ocean. The location of the property is perfect close to Christiansted. If you look for peace and quiet that is the place for you. Chad is a great host and yes the cookies are very good.

Our experience staying at Emily and Chad's cottage is by far the best homeshare experience we've ever had. Communication was consistently excellent, from the directions to the cottage and recommendations for restaurants & things to do emailed to us in the weeks leading up to our trip, to a final check-in email just before departure making sure we had their contact info and an offer to address any last minute questions, to being able to communicate via text during our stay if anything was needed. The cottage itself is beautiful and perfect for a couples getaway. Though situated on the same land as the main home the cottage was very private and we definitely felt like we had the place all to ourselves. A short walk across the lawn leads to the beach, which unfortunately during our stay was inundated with sargassum seaweed, so while it was nice to sit in the chairs overlooking the water we didn't really have an opportunity to enjoy the beach itself. Luckily it's an island full of beaches and it was a good excuse for us to venture out and explore different ones! The cottage was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay - towels, shampoo, snorkel gear, cooler, beach chairs, you name it! It was so nice not having to pack all those additional things or worry about where to find them on the island once we landed. Bonus: there was a bottle of Cruzan Rum in the fridge and fresh baked cookies waiting for us on arrival. The location is perfect for getting anywhere around the island. It's situated essentially midway across the island on the north shore, and it was a relatively short drive to get anywhere we wanted to go. Each day we loaded up our Jeep with the snorkel gear, cooler, beach chairs, and towels and picked a new beach to visit based on the recommendation list from Emily & Chad. Each beach was unique and had its own personality so it was really fun to set out each day not really knowing what to expect when we got to our destination. I sincerely cannot recommend this place enough! It exceeded our expectations and was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Emily & Chad have really pulled out all the stops to make their cottage a retreat in paradise!
