A very clean and well equipped unit in a complex with swimming pool. Very close to the beach and a number of restaurants.

Funky apartment, decent location, well equipped. Thoughtful touches from the host like fresh Orange Juice in the fridge, coffee and cakes provided for the first day, made to feel very welcome. The owners father, Michel, is a wonderful man - very charming, very eager to make sure your stay is enjoyable. He couldn't have been more concerned to make sure that we were happy , both on arrival and again at check out. We'd definitely stay here again when next in the area.

Not that we didn't like, but a caution. Our check in instructions said that someone would meet us at the property. I'd said our arrival time would be somewhere late afternoon. I messaged the owner at lunchtime to say we'd be there around 5pm. I then texted again on arrival to say we were there, and got a text back to say that 24 hours before arrival, I should contact Michel on XXX to agree a time. Now, this was the first time we'd been notified of this. At 5pm, I Called Michel, who spoke no English. I speak OK French, and told him we were at the apartment already. I thought he said he'd be there between 6-7pm. We killed time waiting, then called Michel only to find out that he'd been at the apartment since 4.30. He thought when I said we'd arrived, he thought we were at the airport so WE'D be arriving between 6-7. A genuine mistake on both sides, as Michel agreed when we finally did meet. If you don't speak any French, you might struggle a little. However - this did not detract from our enjoyable stay and how very caring Michel was about our enjoyment while there.
