Free car park by hotel. Close to sea amid sand dunes and forrest.

No lift. Difficult hauling suitcases up steep narrow stairs.

the hotel has the level of 2 stars but the price is 5 star. simply overrated

Perfectly adequate hotel for a two night stay. Comfortable bed and good range of Television channels on the TV. Very friendly staff who were keen to help and good value. Restaurant was Adequate with pleasant food but nothing outstanding. Good picnic lunch bag provided. Excellent location to experience the beach at Wassenaar with some great walks amongst the dunes.

The room was very small and very much style over substance. It looked elegant but was not practical. No door on the shower cubicle so the bathroom floor got soaked. No shelf space to put anything in the bathroom so two peoples toiletries and so on had to be put on the toilet seat cover at times. Lovely designer tap over the basin but you hit your head on it if you leant over the basin to wash! One very small cupboard for two people's clothing unless you are happy to live out of your bag - but nowhere to put that either! One socket either side of the bed and one under the small counter top so few places to charge electronics if you had more than two devices.

Friendly, helpful staff, attractive surroundings, comfortable bed.

Location close to beach was perfect for a quiet retreat. 45 minute walk to Wassenaar was easy along foot/bike paths. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff willing to help with luggage since upper floors are only accessible by stairs. On site restaurant and lots of sitting space on patio. Small room but very spacious bathroom.

No bus service to hotel. Best accessed by car.

It was all good within what you'd reasonably expect. I think the unique location makes it overpriced. The rest of the facilities are ok, but not what I'd expect when spending 270 euro for one night. double bed room.

The price / quality ratio could improve.

We liked the location and the neighborhood of sea side. Good coffee and free parking.

We spent two nights each about 250 EUR in the quite big room on first floor. On booking the Hotel is rated 4*, but in fact there is no elevator, no aircon(?, this is 2022) and no fridge (2022 right?). Breakfast is rather poor, coffee in fact very nice. If the weather is nice and your room is over the road you will hear the traffic and you will hear it because you open a window because there is no aircon. The steps on the upper floors are.very steep so good luck with bigger luggage as there is no elevator. If you are disabled or have any of moving problem I advise you to book another place. This is at most 3* hotel aspiring to be butique and not worth the price. And one more thing you can also read in other reviews, sometimes you can smell sewer on the corridor or bathroom. I think its because of rain drainage not efficient enough. I can understand that because the building itself is quite old. But please don't rate yourself as 4* when such problem exists.

Great for the beach , great staff , hotel very clean . Staff were very polite .

I paid over €300 for two nights , in a room that should actually be more suited as a hotel utility cupboard . Room 204 when I put my legs out the bed to stand up my knees would bump the wall , and my head would bump the picture frame on wall when standing up .. there was just a few inches on the “Window side” of the bed . The room was just far too small as a hotel room .. Disappointing ☹️
