Extremely outdated. I agree with previous reviews starting it felt like a 4-star establishment for a few decades ago. A lot of the facilities either didn't work or were pretty rickety. We've been to much cheaper 3-star places that were better.

Location was great. Breakfast was ok.

We were greeted by the smell of gas lingering around the hotel and in our rooms.

The location was perfect. Hotel is situated a few meters away from the pedestrian area and the breakfast was plentiful with a large selection of cold cuts, cereals and much much more.

On our arrival at the hotel we were lucky to find a parking place a few meters away from the entrance but then, once we moved the car to visit a place a few kilometers away, when we came back we had to park in a distant parking lot. Also, the furniture in the room, needs to be replaced.

After a long trek in the Dolomites, we asked if we could check into our room early, and the staff quickly got our room ready by 10:30am, 5.5 hours before our original check-in time! It allowed us to shower and relax for our day in Cortina. Additionally, the location was an absolute perfect jumping off point to explore the town!

Hostel-like dungeon rooms with old, beaten up, broken, stained furnishings, private bathroom with a door that does not close(!); old dusty light fixtures that either do not work or do not light the space enough;, mold in bathrooms, bathroom vents filled with thick dust layers; outdated fixtures, missing robe, coffee or tea kettle; “bait and switch” photos of the rooms when booking, in-accessible electrical outlets; the room accommodations now might suffice in a two star hotel; no parking reservations accepted, only few spots available; chaotic access on the very busy street; no welcome info or warning or answer to get help with accessing the hotel or alternative parking info; no phone or email replies or receptionist when needed; and so much more - there are dilapidated hotel accommodations in a dire need of a full remodeling - overcharged for an unusable room..,

It was a totally amazing experience. The hotel was centrally located, just bang in the middle of shops, restaurants and bars, however it was not noisy at all. Thanks to this, we could enjoy a relaxing and nice evening/night after dinner just roaming the streets of cortina. I found this to be important as most hotels in this region are just cut off from any restaurants with the need to drive to get to one. Moreover, we once decided to have dinner at the hotel because of a thunderstorm and we truly loved the experience. All the staff were truly great and considering. We checked out of the hotel at 4am due to an early flight, and they prepared a varied packed breakfast for us to take on the road. Very considering! Service was amazing, and all the staff were always so welcoming. I definitely recommend this hotel.
