What didn’t I love about it! It was one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed in, we loved it so much that we extended 2 extra days.

Nice pool area.
Thr room atmosphere was a bit cold, not cosy. The hotel charged extra amount from my credit card and I have to use time and effort to make it right.

Staff in the terrace restaurant (breakfast) were very helpful and breakfast itself was excellent. Large rooms were extremely comfortable and the pool was wonderful.
Service in the Japanese restaurant was difficult - online menus were hard to navigate and staff were not immediately helpful but the meal we eventually had was superb

hidden charges that were not apparent at the start, you have to pay for Wi-Fi, €28 per person for breakfast (it is not worth nowhere near that much), €5 per person resort fee (should just be for the room alone, not number of occupants), and a €5 charge for room service, smh. Felt robbed just for asking for basic services

The location was good and very peaceful with just the sound of birds in the pine trees. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable stay.

- appalling housekeeping, we would leave the room after breakfast come back between 3 and 4 pm and the room would not be cleaned
- quite a few restaurant staff at both breakfast and dinner time do not speak English
- kids club only existed during Easter week and was charged at eur15 per hour, treasure hunt - eur20. Never heard of such basic activities to be charged. Also you can find people from outside at the hotel playground. There is nothing and noone preventing outsiders to use hotel playground
- we were charged extra to use hotel spa only to find out that you are not allowed to the spa without a swimming cap , which you can buy at the hotel for yet another charge! Seriously..

there is not indoor pool, food at the restaurant is not great and the internet is rubbish

friendly staff, free shuttle bus into Cascais, cleanliness, good size suite, evening turn down, bed was really comfortable, food from the main restaurant (via room service) was a very good standard.
it’s out of the main area (10 to 15 mins cab ride) and nothing within walking distance (beach, coffee shop etc). spa was small

Great location and space in the rooms
The reception staff did not want to give an upgrade I was entitled as part of my Marriott Bonvoy status, claiming the hotel was full where it was blatantly the opposite.
