Location is great for exploring Dublin, thr pub and room itself full of character the major downsides were the room was at the top of 2 flights of narrow stairs and the WiFi intermittent at best. Breakfast not available nearby. Otherwise a good stay
Better WiFi and some warning re the flights of stairs

the location was actually very good, walkable distance to everything that we wanted to see in the city.
we had coffee and tea in the room,
clean and fresh towels.
it was also very quite in the hotel.
it was kinda dusty in the room, the curtains looked very dirty.
no shampoo in the bathroom

Two light bulbs were out and it made the room dark. Never replaced when asked.
Front door was difficult at times. Both going in and out.

Friendly checking lady
Very dusty, cups were dirty, cheap shower gel in the dispenser. Bed very uncomfortable.

not so far from the city centre
hotel is above a bar

Large bathroom, large bed, very private room
A little bit loud, in a slightly less commercial/touristy area- longer walk to things

WE DID NOT STAY HERE IN THE END. EMAILED THE HOTEL TO REQUEST A GROUND FLOOR AS I CANNOT CLIMB STAIRS OR ASKED IF THEY HAD A LIFT. NO ONE CAME BACK TO US. ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, NO LIFT AND 4 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS TO OUR ROOM. RIDICULOUS.
It doesn't say anywhere in your advertisement that you do not accommodate anyone with disabilities. If we had known that we would not have booked.

the room was nice and it was very clean. very good shower. great location
the only negative was the bed. I was expecting a double and it was two singles pushed together.

Clean, quiet place, comfy bed, spacious bathroom
When the pub is closed you’re left without assistance if you need anything.

Cute room, a bit run down in the bathroom. The area is not too noisy
Check out is already at 10, but you can only leave your bags at the bar downstairs at 11.
Wifi barely worked the first day and not at all the second day.

The location here is great, a block from Trinity college, all the buses go right by here. For being in such a great location (including above a pub), it was pretty quiet. Very secure rooms.
There was hair in the shower and dirty towel in the bathroom when we arrived late at night. The shower had trouble draining, backed up a bit which filled the shower pan with dirt and debris from the pipes. Unfortunately we visited during a heat wave so it was incredibly hot with no breeze from the windows that barely opened. We ended up only staying one night because it was so unbearable. If it was cooler I'm sure it would have been better.

The staff were friendly and a late check-in was possible (until 11pm). We also met the lovely housekeeping staff in the morning. The beds were comfortable. The curtain are black-out. One of the rooms we booked was a nice sized double, (the other was a triple and a little tight). Considering Dublin accommodation rates, its reasonably priced.
The bathrooms are more worn out than the photos would have you believe, restoring them to a pristine level would mean a lot. A once-off deep steam ckeaning into the corners would help?
A lot of traffic passes right outside, so leaving the window open comes with a noise trade-off. Long walk to parking for us, as St Marks were only allowing week-long bookings for car spaces for some reason when I tried to book.

Location was close to city center
The upkeeping of the room was terrible ( mold in the bathroom, on blinds), The cleanliness did not meet the standard of any basic hotel room ( hairs everywhere in the bathroom and shower) Also I could barely use the shower as there was no hot water!!! ( in February in Dublin )
Noise from the streets ( equipment , ventilations)
I paid way to much for such a poor service

Location
Never expected it to be a 5 star hotel but its more a hostel and shouldn't really be classed as a hotel in general. I did expect there to be toilet roll in a 3 person room! When we tried to go down to the pub (which is where you go initially to get a key off a staff member) we couldn't get anyone that was free. Also no glasses in the room for a drink! Other than that €180 for a Saturday night in Dublin isn't bad..

The bed was comfortable. The hotel was very close to the event I was attending.
Check-in - I did not like the fact that there was not a registration desk/office to check in at and speak in person to someone. I did not receive my email with check-in information. (It showed up in my spam folder a few days later.) I called the phone numbers on my reservation confirmation and the phone was not answered. Fortunately the people I was traveling with received their confirmation email. She said she had also received a phone call from someone. I received no such phone call. She called the number she had received the call from and we were able to speak to someone who told me what room I was in. If I was not traveling with someone else that had a separate reservation, I would not have been able to get into the hotel that night or to contact anyone that could help me.

The room was huge and clean.
It was cold, the radiators didn't warm all the room.

Good location near Pearse Station.
Clean and comfortable.

My room was clean, old fashioned (which I like), nicely spacious and cosy, the large double bed was really comfy.Staff is friendly there and they run a very good bar. Buses from the airport stop nearby(12 minutes walk) and the train station is close too. Large, modern bathroom. I would go back!
The bathroom floor corners would deserve a bit more of attention from the cleaners

great shower
1-wrong address… Said it was on Pearse and is actually on Lombardy. knocked on a locked black door and tried unsuccessfully to call for at least 20 minutes.2-Stated client could leave luggage in tavern earlier than check-in. Tavern didn’t even open until after 12 PM, (and I assumed, as it was advertised as a B&B, it would be open… their menu says they open at 9 AM, but of course that was before Covid… Should be corrected) so I missed my walking tour 3- No longer serving breakfast, yet only left one teabag. (and no reduction in price)Could have at least left a banana or a packaged bun and more than one teabag! 4-Absolutely no entertaining channels on TV. Only 21 channels and half of them were music. 5-wait staff, who were also waiting to get into the tavern as it is supposed to open at noon, was very polite and helpful. Owner/manager were late, and when I finally did get to go into my room hours later he watchEd me struggle up narrow stairs to third floor with my luggage. I’m 68-year-old white-haired lady. I know it was not required… But it would’ve been courteous. Overall, it is very obvious that the B&B is not a priority. Quite honestly, it was the worst B&B in which I have ever stayed…made to feel like an inconvenience, not a guest.
