Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Es sind 30min Fußweg zum Fichtelberg. Das Schwimmbad ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind groß.

Es scheint dort akuter Personalmangel zu herrschen. Die Frau am Empfang war daher sehr genervt und unfreundlich. Die Plätze im Wintergarten direkt am Buffet zum Frühstück sind sehr begrenzt, sodass man im Restaurant essen muss und sich aus dem Wintergarten das Essen holen muss. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war eine Geburtstagstafel gestellt, welche den Zugang behindert hat.

Etwas außerhalb von Oberwiesenthal, aber die Lage ist für Spaziergänge gut geeignet. Die Nähe zu Tschechien. Restaurants gleich nach der Grenze zu top Preisen und hervorragende Qualität. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön. Aber es waren jetzt im November wenig Gäste, so konnten wir das Schwimmbad ungestört nutzen. Angebot beim Frühstück war ausreichend, für jeden was dabei.

Der sehr schlechte Internet Empfang, in der heutigen Zeit nicht tragbar. Auch wenn wir im Urlaub sind, braucht man doch immer mal Zugang zum Internet.

Lovely setting up in the mountains , small and friendly, only german speaking which meant i had to try to do my best! Excellent pool

We went in summer and there were lots of wasps in and around the hotel ( obviously not their fault) There was only a set menu , no childrens options , but the receptionist recommended the Fichtelberghaus 800 m up to the top of the mountain. This was really good .

The room was very nicely spacious

There was a very annoying noise in the bed room which made sleeping calmly difficult, otherwise all good.

Breakfast was superb! The staff was always helpful and even gave me suggestions on places to buy souvenirs!

I didn't like the snow in the middle of May 😄 when the only warm clothing I had was a windbreaker! 🌨️❄️🥶
