they do not charge from the card online as my stay was sponsored by company, but at the end i was supposed to pay in the property when i did not have enough cash with me

Middenin het centrum en toch best stil.
Aardig personeel dat meeliep naar mijn kamer - het is een beetje een doolhof bovenin het hotel.

Fabulous hotel experience. Beautiful historic building, great central location, friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast. We really appreciated the fresh fruit salad each morning in the beautiful breakfast room. Bed was really comfortable. Highly recommend, wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Reggio Emilia.

Ho gradito e ammirato tutto, dall'edificio (del 1200 ma stupendamente preservato e rinnovato negli spazi interni), alla colazione semplicemente perfetta, per location, servizio e pietanze. Stanza all'altezza delle aspettative, silenziosa, pulitissima, bagno di dimensioni discrete e pulitissimo, set di cortesia presente, minibar fornito, personale gentilissimo e professionale. Peccato non aver avuto tempo per girare di più al suo interno, la prossima volta che tornerò a Reggio farò il possibile per tornare lì.

The Hotel Posta was exactly the type of hotel we love: elegant, beautiful, wonderfully located and friendly, all at a great rate. It is the oldest hotel in Italy, set in one of the oldest buildings, beautifully modernized. It is right in the Reggio Emilia center, between the two piazzas -- it couldn't be more convenient in this gorgeous town. This was our first stay when we arrived for our many-city Italian adventure, and what a way to start!
The staff is very helpful, and as a hotel (vs. an apartment), they have all the amenities you would want, including a small workout room, and an exceptional breakfast complete with local cheeses and hams, great coffee, eggs and pastries. The dining area is gorgeous. They even provided a complimentary small toiletry item I had forgotten to pack. The cleaning staff were also very very kind for some various needs we had.
The room itself was beautiful, with a large bathroom and plenty of storage, plus a safe. Being in the heart of things meant short walks to meals, drinks, or shopping.
We plan to return to RE some day, and we will not stay anywhere else. Hotel Posta is simply gorgeous, in the old world hotel way.

This is a beautiful historic property that is very comfortable but respects its heritage. All the staff were warm and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located.

It is a very beautiful room in a very interesting place. The bed and room were extremely comfortable and the host was amazing :)

The style of the room in vintage design. Breakfast was really nice. My boyfriend loves that hotel as he comes from that area. I also enjoyed the stay there.
