Now exceeding more than 10 booking in this hotel, we started with the normal double rooms. It is old, the hygiene was very poor to bad, bad cleaning, hairs everywhere, bathroom was poor, broken tiles, damaged walls and ceilings etc. There is no way one can make such room clean enough to stay.
All other times we had to clean the room to make it acceptable, heating in the winter not working etc etc. we complained every time. They put us in the suite, which is the most expensive room they have, for the tariff of the double room. The room was ok (not used that much, you could smell that). Each time after that we booked this room full tariff to be satisfied. So in resume it has nothing to do with money, we want a clean room for our stay (each time 1 night only). Last time we ordered chicken from the day-menu at 2120u kitchen closed at 2130u kitchen was not available.
This hotel is not recommendable and for sure does not deserve 4 stars at all.
The restaurant is good, we see good products and the staff is very very friendly but is not able to offer a solution when they are out f chicken.....

The hotel is really worn out and need some modernisations. Gloomy, dark with grumpy service. Loud noise from the streets, which affect the quality of the sleep as the windows are not sound proof.

All was very clean and hygiënic! Diner and breakfast a 10, all foods were fresh!!

We’ve stayed two times, 2nd by choice even if we had to have two rooms because the staff are really kind, they make check in hassle free, knowing we’ve all been driving for hours usually! the room has a jacuzzi bath. the room is really warm it’s lovely, hot water always, lovely breakfast and nice coffee( not cheap stuff) fresh fruit for breakfast or eggs and bacon, yoghurts etc. location is perfect for the motorway and really close to town. they provide slippers which is comfy and stops the banging when we walk around ( horrid in a hotel ). 12€ per dog. my only wish is that they would install a vending machine with perhaps drinks and some snacks for those who don’t just want water. We will be back at Easter. Suitable for small kids also!

The location is good, just next to the highway. Good surrounding area for travelers with a dog.
Noise during the night. It was a Friday night and looks like somebody has a noisy party during the night. Also, first time we stayed there it was some extras like disposable bathroom slippers, which i did not find in the room that time.

Very good hotel, easily accessible from the highway, sparkling clean rooms, warm in winter, free parking on the premises, walking distance from the Figueres historical centre and the important sites (notably the Dali Theatre-Museum and San Ferran Castle). Interesting breakfast, not a buffet one: you are given a choice of set menus to suit your taste (“sweet breakfast”, “salty breakfast”, “healthy breakfast”, “continental breakfast” etc.) and the items are brought to you on a tray. Very organized and ecological, helps avoid the usual buffet excesses. Very polite and helpful reception. The hotel houses the renowned The Motel restaurant, unfortunately we didn’t get to eat there, it’s only open at lunchtime. Generally, excellent value.

The rooms are worn down, old tv, not so fresh bath tub. A big beetle actually fell from ceiling down into the tub.

the restaurant is very nice for lunch, service is good, and breakfast is fine.
the rooms are very old and completely empty with zero decoration, paintings, etc… the aircon is also very old and works with limitations
