Beautiful fields, trees, pastures surround the hotel. it’s a quiet and lovely place to take a break. The room was comfortable and the breakfast exceptional. We liked it all and wished we could stay longer.

We had trouble carrying our suitcases up the steps to reception. A ramp would be helpful.

The location is stunning and the hotel is very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing with so much locally sourced things from which to choose. The honey dripping from the fresh honeycomb was incredible.

Almost in the middle of nowhere, which is great value added for somebody looking for peaceful and relaxing stay with green pastures around.

The mattress of the bed for our 6yr old was very thin and weak.

Location near to Billund airport was good. Nice looking hotel in lovely countryside.

I had booked a family room. The room was too small with very little room to walk around the bed Restaurant was busy and I was offered one time that was too early.

Nice rooms, very clean, well equipped, nice breakfast.

Small thing, but the lighting in the restaurant is awful and bright. Would be a much nicer dinner experience if the lights were dimmed a bit, it felt a bit like eating in a staff canteen (but the food was very very nice!).

- Clean and functional room - Reception and restaurant staff very helpful and had a very nice personal touch - Breakfast had good quality ingredients, especially the fruit and bacon - Good distance (i.e. drivable) to Billund, Vejle, Fredericia

- For a family, the room was quite small when staying for longer - Some more facilities could have been provided, e.g. bike trailers/helmets for bicycling with children, playground (considering the size of the grounds) - Could have provided more info in the electric car plug points as our rental car was not compatible - Breakfast could have had more diversity. Especially for those with milk or gluten allergies, there was very little choice. plant-based yoghurts would have been much appreciated. - With the hot weather, there were one too many flies in the breakfast room - On the final night, the hotel held a wedding function, and the guests were making lots of noise outside of our room until 3am, and kept us awake. Also the staff were vacuuming outside our door at midnight, which was not helping us to sleep!

Great Restaurant

Good location if you go to Legoland by car. But there’s nothing around. Breakfast is OK but not amazing.

Price is much higher than it feels, maybe because of Lego.

Beautiful location and nicely decorated rooms

Great location to visit Legoland in Billund. Only 20 minutes by car. Hotel is in a very quiet area in the woods. Great for hiking in the area. Staff is extremely helpful and cheerful. Restaurant is also very nice.

I think it is a bit expensive but I guess that is typical for most hotels in Denmark (I do not live in Denmark)

It's very atmospheric place surrounded by beautiful nature and breathtaking views. A good room with a good bed. The room was clean. We had stuff for making coffee or tea and big towels . Nice service and a free place for parking.

Maybe to have more diverse breakfast would be nice.

a nice hotel in the middle of the nature. Big hotel with free parking spots, easy to reach with the car. The room was pretty small but nicely designed. I like the eco approach of the hotel. A lot of things were recycled. The breakfast was included.

unfortunately there were some things i did not like. We got an information about the closed restaurant few days before arrival, but it was already too late to cancel our room. And there is no possibility to eat anywhere nearby. You need to go to the next town by the car. Moreover, the staff was so involved in the wedding that we felt ignored and not welcome. We were not even asked if we enjoyed the stay. In the room there was a tv, but only 12 channels. For a 4 stars hotel would expect more. It was also impossible to turn on youtube. The breakfast was okay, but the coffee machine was not working properly. Moreover, no fruits or yogurt for breakfast. Only the basics. There was also a construction around the hotel, so we could not enjoy everything that the hotel has to offer. On Sunday as we wanted to leave we noticed there was a car with a broken glass on the parking lot. These were probably the wedding guests who broke the glass. We were happy that it did not happen to our car.

I have stayed before. The hotel is a nice space with interesting dining room and comfortable lounge. Rooms are functional.

On this occasion dinner was a disaster on the second evening. Poor service and food quality. Poor coffee at breakfast as the regular machine is not in operation.
