The destination and view was incredible
Bed was not made and there were at least 4 sheets folded together as a duvet.
We were not notified that there was a buffet menu and was told at 6pm. The buffet food we don’t think was worth the $50 per person charge.
Service was very slow when we were ordering drinks and breakfast.

The toilet seat isn't clean at all (and a lot of dust under the bed). The staff is not so helpful

酒店离基督城机场约一个小时车程，景色很美，恰逢降温，外面狂风大雨，在酒店的咖啡厅烤着烧着柴火的西式壁炉，很温暖，晚上雨停时，近处的山头上落满的竟然是雪，很惊艳。餐厅的晚餐有牛排、三文鱼很好吃！酒店的工作人员非常热情周到，入住三天就有消息通知入住须知，询问是否要大床或双人床，是否预订晚餐？大床是可以分开为2个单人床的，入住酒店在高尔夫订场打球是有优惠的！谢谢酒店工作人员细致的服务，为我们升级了房间，给了更美好的体验！如果有机会一定会再次去入住！

Everything! By far the best place we've stayed in, customer service was faultless, very very professional staff! The dinner menu was unreal, The best food I've had the pleasure of eating to date!
I didn't like that I was there for only one night, wish it was a much longer stay!

Room & food good. Facilities amounted to one 18 hole golf course that was unplayable.
Facilities amounted to one 18 hole golf course that was unplayable. Stairs to 2nd floor apt. was actually 3 stories because the parking was on the ground floor. Steps were dreadful in that they were steep because apt was on a steep hill. NO service was provided for the problem. Facilities manager suggested as an alternative to golf that I walk the w=Washpen trail. It was a 30 minute drive to a private walk (10 NZ $) up and up and down and down on a slippery treacherous trek to an ordinary waterfall. The owner knew the treachery and supplied ropes in particularly slippery spots. My shoulder still aches from the walk 2 weeks ago holding on for my dear life. Thank You Fable Terrace Downs. This resort is an an isolated location not near ANYTHING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Our dinners were exceptional. We would like to mention, in particular, Michael and Roman. They were absolutely brilliant and engaged in our silliness !! Since were were celebrating a honeymoon and 3 birthdays, the weekend could not have been any better. We came home very happy campers ! Hope to be able to visit you again.
Well, you can't do anything about the weather. However, our last morning was glorious.

We loved the stay. Fantastic beds and linen. Clean and comfortable. Staff super helpful. Lots of space, everything you need with spectacular views. Would highly recommend!!

Not much as any outdoor activity was ruined by the weather.
Apartment was tired and needed maintenance. We had to clean out100+ dead flies from the lounge room and some had been trodden into the carpet. The gas fire heater did not work even after staff tried to fix it. Not good when the it was sleeting and snowing outside. Obviously the apartment had not been inspected, ready for occupation, for some time.
Access to the apartment is stupid with too many steps to climb especially with luggage.

While we could see that the team was doing their best to accommodate, the value for money is not there. If you are expecting a service and f&b of an MGallery - you will be heavily disappointed.
F&B : Breakfast was really basic - toast, muesli and fruits. Diner was better but the service and the furniture definitely not at the standard. 2 in service including a junior staff who was needing guidance and support. it took them 3 time to get our order strait.

The accommodation was perfect for our girls night away. The apartments were roomy and comfortable and the views were incredible.

This was a upmarket room, in a well cared for facility. The view from the terrace was lovely, and the staff were accommodating and welcoming.
The cooking facilities were fairly poor. Clearly most guests eat out, and the pots and pans were pretty lackluster. I stayed in 10 properties in New Zealand and this was one of my least favorite, maybe because it's really not designed for out of country guests, perhaps more suitable for local residents on golfing holidays. The rooms were very nice, and well designed, but very corporate - you could be anywhere.
