Very good location, in the city center, 8 minutes walk to the bus station. And good breakfast.

The first time I was in this hotel, it was hard to find the reception, need a few information signs. And I found a few long dark hairs on the bed and in the bathtub.

The staff was extremely helpful and nice, solved our issue with true christmas spirit on the 24th of Dec🎅🏻

The location of the hotel is accessible and near the mall and market. The rooms are beautiful, calm and clean.

There were no freebies like water, coffee and hotel slippers.

Breakfast very good and good assortment for lactose intolerant people.

We booked the hotel 3 months in advance. From the beginning we asked an early check in because we had an important event at 15pm, so their normal check in hours wouldn't work for us. We were of course also willing to pay half a day more or the 15euros fee for early check in. All they answered via email was that they could not promise anything but that they would do their best to accomodate us. Upon further request to have more concrete answers they replied: "Please contact us closer to the stay as we would be more informative about the matter." I checked again with them 1 week before the trip and they answered that they could not guarantee a check in earlier than 15 because the hotel was FULLY BOOKED. At that point our booking became non refundable and we couldn't do nothing but try to go to the hotel early and wait to see if they could do something to let us in in advance. At the reception we explained the situation and the background to the lady that served us. She looked completely indifferent and even bothered by our questions like "could you help us know when the room would be ready or ask the cleaning service to clean our room first?" Or "could you switch our assigned room with the first room that get cleaned?" NOTHING. She did not even check or blink. The answer was: we cannot know these things, we cannot ask the cleaning service and changing assigned rooms is too complicated, we can't do that, we don t know when your room will be ready. After an hour waiting we decide to talk to a second receptionist and guess what: she checked with the cleaning service what they could do and she checked if there was any other way we could get a room. In fact she found a cancellation and moved us to that room (not very difficult to do after all now!). Awfully bad service. Stressed us up for nothing. Not coming back for sure.

The friendliest staff I've seen in a long time, really did her best to meet our wishes and beyond. Breakfest was surprisingly rich.

Double bed was 2 beds joined together, but then the hotel was completely full.

Wonderful breakfast buffet! Great children option at the in-house restaurant for dinner. Friendly staff. Access to the parking (extra cost) with the lift in the same building. Central location in town, everything at walking distance.

Breakfast was excellent and the location conveniently in the city center.

At least a small carpet at the door in the room would have been nice.

Rooms were clean and of decent size. Beds were comfortable and sizeable. Our two rooms were next to each other even though we had not asked for it, very good! A lot to choose from at breakfast (mostly). Good selection of fruits and vegetables! Good location fairly close to bus stops and a good variety to restaurants and the river promenade. Hotel is located on top of a supermarket for easy access of an evening snack. Parking garage below the hotel with easy access by lift. WiFi worked flawlessly.

No shoehorn. Missing sheets and towels from family room. Toilet paper was almost out when we got our room. The shower flooded the rest of the bathroom floor (bye bye towels). Staff could not help ordering a taxi (not very impressive). Very old TV with few satellite channels. Almost everything on the breakfast table looked 'mass produced', eg bacon slices were cut in half and had been fried (barely) on top of each other like a book and had to be peeled off. Breakfast staff were very eager to take any empty plate or glass from the table even though one might still be using it. Only one kind of pickled herring to choose from (mustard) which is poor considering Åbo/Turku is a coastal city. Most hotels in this area of Europe usually has at least 2 or 3 to choose from. Coffee machine at breakfast and in the lobby instead of manually brewed coffe (which has become commonplace in better hotels). Coffee in the lobby was not complimentary but cost money (also a sign of the hotel not living up to its stars).
