Our room was really clean with lovely comfortable beds. Shower was really great. Check in easy with friendly knowledgeable staff who let us check in early and gave us a quiet room at the back as we had requested.Location perfect for us. Definitely recommend.

The room was just as in the photos and cleaned to a high standard. All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet and bottles of water supplied in the room.

Really well appointed room, spacious, modern & clean. Wooden flooring style felt really clean. Amenities all present from hairdryer, fridge & ability to make tea / coffee. Light & airy.

Pillows were all a bit basic, no choice

The room was clean had good natural light. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed, and the shower had plenty of water pressure. The staff were helpful. Excellent breakfast (at a small discount) can be had down the street at the Black Olive.

The door separating the entry hall from the bedroom had to be propped open.

The room is cute and cosy, plenty of space, a nice spacious bathroom, everything feels modern. The complimentary tea and coffee in the entrance is nice, although the coffee is instant. Superb location, I was on a trip to the Barbican but outside of that the location felt great with plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, and tubes nearby. Also good value for money considering what you can get in London for the same price.

They told us we had to request cleaning except a cleaning person was still knocking on the door. A little confusing!

Position, clean, quiet, refurbished

The apartment was clean, spacious and equipped with everything needed for a longer stay, the kitchen especially. The hotel is located next to the Barbican, for anybody interested in architecture. Barbican Tube Station 2 minutes away and Farringdon about 5/10 minutes walk with direct connection to the Elisabeth line.

Nice clean room

Booked a twin room but when arrived it was a double. Staff did rearrange room but if instruction had been followed it would have saved a lot of hassle.

Bedding could have been thicker

great location for Barbican. Decor was great and nice and clean. We didn’t end up using it but great they have secure storage for luggage prior to room being ready and on departure.

beds too hard, no shower cap, body cream, flannel etc which are standard in most good hotels. Wasn’t informed that a breakfast could have been ordered by 10pm for the following morning. Also asked evening reception for more coffee not enough in room (only enough for one cup of normal coffee and one cup of decaf) and they didn’t know where to get it from! These small things would have had a big impact and would have meant would have given excellent and 5 stars for everything.
